    Greatest rhythm guitar player in the world. The fusion of the two telecasters is such a perfect sound. Rossi and Parfittt are so underrated it's criminal.

      Those Telecasters are so modified that they're not Telecasters anymore.

      @@mikesmith22050 Both guitars had the back part of the bridge/pickup plate cut off and different bridges installed; Parfitt's with a Jr. style wraparound bolted to the body, but the strings still run through the body, Rossi's has a tune-o-matic style bridge and 3 Strat size rail humbucker pickups. Rossi used to have G&L MFD pickups at one time. They're still tele-ish, I guess.

      @tiki_trash 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@mikesmith22050 Ok, Rossi's is basically a hardtail Strat with Hot Rails and Rick's is still a Tele but with a whacky hillbilly bridge.

      ...and pretty much all types of music in general! We're the best...simple as!! Bands/artists, from all over the world, look to the UK (if not base themselves here) because of the international musical (and cultural) reputation of this country. It's just such a massive shame that the uptight, narrow-minded Tory types really don't understand this. They don't see it/understand it/value it! How they can't I'll never know...I really won't. IMO we have THE BEST musical and cultural reputation in the world. Everyone looks to this country, especially in regard of music, but it goes over the Tory's heads. For a group who like to pride themselves on their ability to capitalise on owt they can get their grubby big hands on, they miss this time and time again and have always done! I don't get how they can be so slack, dumb? Yet they continue to pull it off and totally miss out???

    Im extremly thanksfull. Me, german, got to know this band by a single inside the danish "fritidshem" (meeting place for pupils in my hometown) in rendsburg, germany, near danish border.
    Ones listening both sides/songs it changed my live from german hit music to rock. Daily i cdnt wait to run after school to listen this band.
    Later i past almost all importand bands, incl. Deep purple, black sabbath, Uriah heep, accept(heidi), motörhead(my sons name is lemmy), iron maiden and maaaaany more. Lately dragonforce, stratovarius and since last year: unlucky morpheus(drummer fumiya). Status quo.... Thank you forever for it!!!!!!

    Rick is giving it some with his strumming! In my first ever gig we had a support band which included Francis' son playing his first ever gig - he spent most of his time in stage with his back to the audience! We thought Rossi Snr might turn up but sadly not. That was a few decades ago now - I'm still playing guitar live (and often use a Tele and Marshall half stack - but just the one!) and loving it :)
    Quo made some great music. Not sure why Google suggested this vid to me but I'll be jamming along with some of their tunes tomorrow... sorry neighbours! :)

    We saw one of the last concerts Quo did with the full line-up at Carcassonne, ad the fascinating thing was that while we were sitting up in the stand, I was thinking, Quo, is it? Ho Hum. And then we went down by the stage, five metres from the band, and instantly I got it. They aren't a stadium band at all - wasted in all that space. They are a small gig band and from five metres are just mind-blowing. Can't think of another band who improve so much at close range!

      @@pauljohns8662 That's it! Small gig - they blow it away. See them at a distance it's, yeah, okay, what's not to like, but close up - blown away!
