Once again, they'd demolish Republic forces and be pretty OP in battles with few Jedi Knights and commanders...

It is only allowed if it works, basically. With the Sith, the core tennet is "If you fail, you deserved to fail and die, and if you succeed, you deserved to succeed". Palpatine *knowing* that Vader had an apprentice was already Vader's failure. Vader was never smart or powerful enough to overthrow Palpatine.
I have a simpler answer, sidious would have defeated both of them even in a 2v1 scenario, at this point in the game starkiller hasn't truly come into his own power, sidious would have ragdolled him, then it's just Vader vs Sidious, which Vader loses badly. Why do you think sidious just strolled in like he did....he isn't a fool, he had prior knowledge and determined they couldn't match him.
And that (among other reasons) is why making this game not cannon is a disgrace. Not only do we see the greatest version of Vader (scary, imposing but also manipulative and a great strategist with his own motivations) but this story fits perfectly with the profecy of the Chosen One being responsible for the fall of the sith

Galen had one of the most tragic stories in all of star wars. His father killed in front of him only to be raised by a psychopath like Vader and be betrayed and tortured again and again by him. And in the end he could only choose between being ropped into being Sidious's apprentice as well or die by his hands.

There was a Starkiller black series from TFU II. I’d love to see a Sith Stalker Starkiller Figure, and a figure of him in the Jedi Robes he wore in the last mission.
Rebels are bascially this but worse. You can even find similar elements: blind Jedi master (Kota and that guy whose name is too difficult for me to write correctly), design of Ezra from Season 4, I guess, is also very similar to Galen's appearance.

Expect Starkiller literally did die after getting stabbed in the back by Darth Vader and then yeeted out of space. Vader brought him back to be rebuilt in which it took 6 months. Sabine just shrugs off the next day. Her treatment felt more like a band-aid. Not the same ballpark.

The betraying typically goes up the hierarchy, not down. It’s in Vader’s best interests to betray sidious, not starkiller. Galen had every right to be confused.
