Some that would be on my Top 100 are "In the Court of the Crimson King", "G.O.D." and "To Be Over" from Relayer, "Perfect Day" by Lou, "Song of Seven", "Strawberry Fields Forever" and "Tomorrow Never Knows" by Beatles. Blind Faith might also be on there. Other than "Radar Love", I would have chosen any of the longer songs on that album...all being prog masterpieces. The BOC choice was unexpected, but cool. "Dizbusters" is another I might add.

I'm not going to try to come up with my own to 100 favorite songs, too much work and very tough choices. With Sparks Whippings and Apologies, I really love the version on TH-cam at the correct speed, it's a fun song indeed.

Really fun list! Happy to see "Death Walks Behind You." I LOVE their second album, IN HEARING OF... "Mr. Sun, Mr. Moon" is another fave of mine. The Raiders could rock out and also "pop out!" "See" from The Rascals is another great choice. I don't think I could do a list like this. I have too much trouble just choosing my 100 favorite albums, and many of those albums have a number of my most favorite songs! Great job!

I know Dominance & Submission , Good Vibrations and Strawberry Fields Forever would certainly always be on it.
Even though it was written by Carole King and it's not on your list , Pleasant Valley Sunday is an outstanding 1960s standard by The Monkees. They did actually play on that record to a very high standard.

Why is it that most of the songs and albums you like I never heard of. Did they play those songs on the radio? I guess all the songs I like are billboard top 40 from the 70s and 80s.
Larry, I always notice that you’re always listing your favorite songs, albums always making favorite lists I would find that impossible as my favorites change week by week I can’t do my 10 ten albums as it changes minute by minute Don’t your lists ever change???

This demoralized American is feeling terribly beaten down too in the wake of the disastrous election, but certainly such exercises as Larry's helps us to think about more pleasant things for a while.
As a British person I find it baffling that the US rejected Bernie sanders, a fair, kind and genuine man twice yet they have elected Donald trump ..a dick basically for a second time. I appreciate people have different politics but to me Bernie just seems to make so much sense? He just wants everybody to be able to do well in life and a less unequal society. The democrats are partly to blame though for backing the very unlikeable Hillary Clinton in 2016 and the not very capable Biden in 2020. Hmm.

I know Dominance & Submission , Good Vibrations and Strawberry Fields Forever would certainly always be on it.

Even though it was written by Carole King and it's not on your list , Pleasant Valley Sunday is an outstanding 1960s standard by The Monkees. They did actually play on that record to a very high standard.

As a British person I find it baffling that the US rejected Bernie sanders, a fair, kind and genuine man twice yet they have elected Donald trump ..a dick basically for a second time. I appreciate people have different politics but to me Bernie just seems to make so much sense? He just wants everybody to be able to do well in life and a less unequal society. The democrats are partly to blame though for backing the very unlikeable Hillary Clinton in 2016 and the not very capable Biden in 2020. Hmm.
