Hi Richie, I too played Obscured By Clouds nonstop. Some others include : Iron Butterfly Ball, Andy Pratt Avenging Annie, The Stones Beggars Banquet, and Layla to name a few. Thanks for letting me know about Diane Coffee, I have a couple of his records on the shelf now.
My three favorites of the ones you showed are Rastaman Vibration (saw Bob and the Wailers twice live here in NYC) and Back From Samoa (have corresponded with Metal Mike over the years, His is a big collector of vinyl) and Greatest Hits Vol 1 (when i had published my article on the 15 best punk albums of all time, this Cockney Rejects Vol 1 was one of the 15. And Vol 2 is just as good and contains IMO their greatest song Oi Oi Oi) Love your Dickies shirt.

I don't think I've ever played any of my records 100 times because I have so many but I've certainly heard many, many over-played tracks 100 times or more on those tired, moldy oldie rock radio stations! I certainly don't need to hear any more "Stairways To Heaven" or "The Walls" or ANY AC/DC EVER again and be very happy! Most of those common, average LPs you play 100 times or more aren't even allowed in my collection!
It is harder now to listen to an album 100 times. The Foxygen, Diane Coffee, and Courtney Barnett make it because of also listening to them on CD in the car and streaming them on bandcamp in the backyard.

Obscured By Clouds is a great LP. Jon gave me a copy of Dark Side last year and I had not listened to it since the late 80’s. I could not get into it at all.
This is a good one. I don't know why but it is still surprising how vast your tastes are. That foxygen record was great but their follow-up was so disappointing.

Possibly the first Sabbath record? I get what you're saying about Pink Floyd. Us old school Metallica fans felt the same way about the "Black" album. What do you think about Aerosmith's "Come Together"? Ooooooooooohhh, Joan Jett's "I Love Rock "N' Roll " would be another of mine. Your Cramps choice is cool. i have records played over hundreds of times and new bought ones sound much worst than older ones, i think being over 70 years old and remenber being 28 and think that one day records would stop sounding good but not one sounds worst and much better than re-re-re-remasterized versions but not a litle better ,like cheap cassette recording and tdk ma-XG quality in old records, this if recorded in the cheapest deck for sale like a sony and a pioneer CT-95 with a tdk ma-xg known to be the best metal tape ever made by all quimical engeniers and audio publications till the late 90´s ,being the older editions and a sony HF recorded in a new under 100€ in the 90´s from Sony the new re-materized editions that can´t replay the guitar sound recorded in studio at the time ,now all is snake oil, SL-1000GR more than 5.000€ , i prefer to buy 3 mint mercedes 300D and offer them to my grandsons ,when younger the best to take girls was the 68 280S now it´s the w124 300D

Richie, the Hendrix album I've played 100 times is ''Nine To The Universe''. It's studio jams that were not released until 1980.

You can hear the direction Pink Floyd would go in some of the songs on Obscured By Clouds.

i have records played over hundreds of times and new bought ones sound much worst than older ones, i think being over 70 years old and remenber being 28 and think that one day records would stop sounding good but not one sounds worst and much better than re-re-re-remasterized versions but not a litle better ,like cheap cassette recording and tdk ma-XG quality in old records, this if recorded in the cheapest deck for sale like a sony and a pioneer CT-95 with a tdk ma-xg known to be the best metal tape ever made by all quimical engeniers and audio publications till the late 90´s ,being the older editions and a sony HF recorded in a new under 100€ in the 90´s from Sony the new re-materized editions that can´t replay the guitar sound recorded in studio at the time ,now all is snake oil, SL-1000GR more than 5.000€ , i prefer to buy 3 mint mercedes 300D and offer them to my grandsons ,when younger the best to take girls was the 68 280S now it´s the w124 300D
