This video is one of the your good ones. On 190e 2.3, it doesn't crank, no sound: - Has new battery - OVP relay is checked & is good - Ignition switch checked & is good, _ transmission shifter inhibitor checked & is good, - All lights behind dash comes on, - fuel pump comes on. - No signal to the starter. So what's next to be checked out? Thanks
Good morning Ivica hope you are in good health. My question is a simple one but no one can answer it so far. where is the starter relay locatede in a 1991 300 sl r129 mercedes if it has one?
It has no relay like the older systems. The first ones had that, afterwards the fuel pump relay took that function over and then the MAS at the end. If your ECU has 55 pins, it's on the pin11. At first check the MAS though. I will give you the link with the contacts for the MAS. It's a contact 12 there. instagram.com/p/Ct4Y49XspFX/
I wanted to hook up a remote starter switch to allow me to work on car from under the hood like starting it or just bumping it . I don’t want to go under car to starter to hook up to ignition portion on solenoid . Is there some where under the hood I can hook up with ignition to starter, and get battery power for the other side of switch?
Ηello, congratulations for your video work. I would like to have your opinion for the following. After regeneratong the fuel distributor for the M102, it is sending fuel to all injectors as soon as the switch is turned on for the fuel pump to begin to operate. But when the motor begins to operate, there is not fuel flow to all injectors. There is not flow for at least one injector. Any advice? Thanks a lot.
The fuel distributor works the same way when the engine is either on or off. I would advise you here to remove the fuel pump relay and to bridge the fuel pump. If the car starts then you have problems with the fuel pump relay.
Hello. I need your opinion regarding my M103 that’s hunting on idle. I just replaced my EHA and fuel regulator for a new one so I had adjusted the mixture, but now the idle bounces with the aircon off. As soon as I turn on the aircon, it idles fine. Could it be too lean or too rich? Hope you could help me out. Thanks and more power to your channel!
Hello. Replace the potentiometer and calibrate it if you haven't. Concerning the mixture, set it to fluctuate 6.65-7.33V. If no fluctuation, then replace the lambda. If your car is without the lambda then set the mixture to steady 6.65V. Hope these advice help you. Greetings and happy Mercedesing.
Hi. Thanks for the response. I have calibrated the potentiometer already. The duty cycle is stuck at 70% most of the time, but would sometimes fluctuate at 50%. Lambda sensor is only about 5-6,000 kms old. Throttle also cuts off randomly when cruising on highway, it does not respond to any throttle input. Does this and a hunting idle usually indicate a lean or rich mixture?
I just replaced the EHA valve for a original new Bosch. My old one is idd bad. Now fuel is coming out of the fuel distributor YES. recently I replaced the waterpomp. And forget the set the ignition timing correct (0 mark on the balancer and the rotor to the correct position) Timing is now correct. Butt won't start. Looks like backfires 🤔 not a big bang, but soft backfires. And I adjusted the inlet plate a little bit. And it has a little bit of play. Even when in spray a little bit of fuel in the inlet nothing
I found a lose vacuüm line that goes to the ignition module. Butt can't start the car anymore, battery is completely empty and my booster pack also. Everything is on the charger. Will see it tomorrow
Timing wat totally incorrect. Camshaft was e little bit of. Timing chain is in specification. Rotor is set correctly 🤔 its on the mark. Adjusted the eha. System pressure is 6.1 and control pressure is just below 6 bar (5.9) Engine starts a bit and stops running. And starting it longer looks like she wil try te start but not running. And the next problem, fuelpumps stopt working. If I jumped 7 and 8 nothing. And no power ad the fuelpumps 🤔
Repair the vacuum line. If you can't make the fuel pump run without the fuel pump relay on and with contacts 7&8 bridged then either the wires or the pump - something is dead! So - check the wires - power supply and ground for the fuel pump or the fuel pump is dead!
Also you have a low system pressure and 0.2bar differential pressure is a too lean mixture. If you can make the difference in pressures for 0.2bar more(on the EHA - turn the screw for an eight of a turn clockwise.
Hi, I have Mercedes R 129, i have heavy fuel leak in the fuel distributer system, I need to rebuild it, can you please guide me where to purchase the complete building kit
I have replaced the fuel pomps. The original are almost 40 years old. So that problem is solved. I get fuel out of the main fuel line ad the distributor. Also fuel uit of the cold start outlet. But nothing out of al 8 outlets of the distributor. Engine starts with fuel poring in the inlet. And runs for just a second. Could it be the black box you mentioned in this video?
@mercedeske I made my Amazon special work 😜. On the cold start valve side. 6,1 Ad the other side also 6.05 Measure both side separately. That's the best I can do ad the moment 😥
I’m having this exact problem. But buddy please get a lavalier mic because your videos sound like they’re recorded in a nasty hollow box while you talk
@@mercedeske from experience you just need to have the microphone pointed towards you and try to pad the space you are speaking in with things that absorb sound like blankets. Sound reflects off flat hard surfaces and causes that echoey sound

My pleasure. I will be glad if you solved it.

Hi, missingparts. You have on their website www.missingparts.de
If you suck on the vacuüm line on the fuel pressure regulator. Should I get some vacuüm?
If I suck or blow on it. I can't feel anything
@@h.v.g7882 That's just a vent line, no vacuum there.
