It is best place to study . I also studied in Brighton my college use to be in Shoreham by sea but I use to live in Brighton and had many Malaysian friends. Let me assure you will remember all your life.

@Geo Sin it depends what you mean by that exactly. If it means is it good for children and can you raise a family there, then yes. But I'd recommend you have a well paid job, and lots of money in order to enjoy a reasonable quality of life there.

Where is North Laines?? which is the hearth of Brighton??. This is essential to be honest, all the crowd is here.... I live here for 12 years.... North Laine is the top, just to take a walk and to expend the morning in this area is one of the first things somebody have to do if they come to Brighton... this is the essence of Brighton my dear friend...

I liked your vedio as I have lived in Brighton for a few years and I have visited all the places mentioned by you it is a good vedio and covers almost every thing important . However regarding Brighton pavilion you forgot to mention about MRS.Simpson . King George use to live in queen's Hotel near East street . And remember it is famous that there are no toilets in the Brighton pavilion I wonder how did they use to live in Brighton pavilion. You also forgot that the pavilion Eastern gate was gifted by a Indian maharaja . .

Every now and again me and my wife take a spontaneous little road trip and stop somewhere on a whim.
About 5 years ago we decided we'd stop in Brighton ( when we were about 10 miles outside of Brighton ) we headed to the seafront looking for parking and found ourselves on what felt like a motorway with an ugly pebble beach to our right and nowhere to stop, before we knew it we'd left Brighton, after a few miles we came to a large roundabout so we turned around and tried again, about half hour later I was back at the same bloody roundabout so we kept on going.
We stopped in Eastbourne, we quite liked it.
Didn't think much to what we saw of Brighton.
East born is also a nice place . However Brighton is even nicer than Eastbourne.
Try to go again ask any one for old Steens drop your car there and walk on the beach in day time and go to top rank disco in the evening you will find the best people in england very hospitable people .

Sounds to me if the beach was on your right you drove right along the coast road from the direction of Hove/Portslade. You would have driven right past 3 large multi story car parks any of which you could have stopped in and been less than 5 minutes walk away from The Lanes, the Pavillion, Pavillion Gardens, the two piers (which you would have seen), the North Laines, Churchill Square shopping, hundreds of cool restaurants and coffee shops, The Dome, the Theatre Royal. Loads of tourist things like Volks Railway, the Sealife Centre, cinemas, comedy clubs, art shops. Honestly there is so much packed into a square mile in Brighton its nuts. If you are referencing the roundabout by the pier you were no more than 1000 yards away from anything I've just mentioned.
You pretty much drove right past all of that, its just one street inland from where you were.
@@Lee-pf2uv Didn't see the multi stories, came into Brighton from inland, didn't have a satnav and just got overwhelmed with the volume of traffic and what felt like complex road layouts when I was just winging it and had no destination to aim for.
My loss, I've seen a couple of videos on Brighton since and it looks well worth a visit.

Top thing to do in Brighton is get out of it ASAP. The streets are so filthy , with crap and plastic and even the Pavilion gardens. It makes you feel physically sick walking through them.

Brighton is mostly armed forces including all the shops. It therefore has a 'good party' with a very bad vibe. The Green and ethical side is also just more army tricks. Although vegan and being kind to animals is, of course, good.

They did have the Preston Barracks in Lewes Road, but they have been demolished for student housing. Brighton is definitely not an army city though.
Sea Life Brighton is nothing more than a zoo with sea creatures in captivity. So depressing .
This completely failed to mention that Brighton is the gay capital of Britain. The Gay Pride Festival every year is a brilliant event. There are loads of gay and gay friendly pubs. Brighton is one of my favourite places. 🏳️🌈

Now I've watched it, lets see. Number 9 should be number 1 and is the only thing really worth seeing. I give you number 8, the lanes are 'OK' I guess. By number 6 you're struggling, it's nowhere near Brighton. Number 10 is the oldest aquarium in the world......and looks it! The pier is garbage and extortionately priced and really nothing special. The beach is pebbled and so even on a nice day, very uncomfortable. In a nutshell, what you say at the start is true. It's a young leftist wokes dream. Progressive yes. The polar opposite to me. It has no redeeming features, but if you want the largest ratio of bars to population probably anywhere in the UK, then your'e in. It's a party town and nothing more!

The only thing to "do" in Brighton is drugs. The city is awash with dealers.

So, there's a zoo and aquarium, the rest is boring, ok, good to know.
No zoo in Brighton.
1. Try and find a parking space.
2. If you do manage to find one, gasp at the cost.
3. Be accosted by a tramp.
4. Try to decipher the graffiti which is everywhere.
5. Trip over a homeless persons tent.
6. Get a ticket for driving in a bus lane.
7. Get hopelessly lost on the ridiculous road system. (see above)
8 Get an uber which has come into town from miles away and can tell you nothing about Brighton whatsoever.
9. Marvel at the sense of self entitlement of the student population.
10. Give up on the stinking sh*thole and vow never to return.
