    I love visiting Bath, and if people are curious about visiting - please don’t hesitate.
    It’s one of the most interesting and fun places to visit as a tourist in England.
    Let me know if you have any questions of if any of you have ever been to Bath, let me know in the comments section below.
    BTW: for those of you who use my city guides as a way to request stadium tours that you’ll never end up watching, I won’t be doing any more for the immediate future. The last few bombed completely (due to people not sharing them). I’d like to create more travel content that is very much appreciated by fellow travelers, rather than get kids whining that I got something wrong at a stadium tour.

      Dear SPA!
      Entrance tickets to Hungarian beaches are HUF 3,000-10,000/person, which ranges from 7-20 pounds and are valid for the whole day, but there are also 4-hour tickets.
      The entrance ticket to the Hungarian cave spas is HUF 10-12 thousand.
      £20-24 per person for an all-day ticket.
      The bath section in Bath, England, behaved outrageously when I was there before.
      The employee said when you can come in next. And they only have 2 hour tickets £45 per person.
      Outrageous!!
      Of course I did.
      I wash dishes in a hotel for a net monthly salary of £1,250.
      In addition, many people cannot afford recreation due to the high costs within England.

    The popular Netflix TV series “Bridgerton” is filmed in Bath, so that might explain the actors in period costumes. Locations such as the Royal Crescent and Holborne Museum are used often used in the show

    • @UltimateBucketList
      @UltimateBucketList  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Ah, that explains it.
      Yeah, that would have explained the amount of TV vans around the Circle and Fashion Museum.
      They literally commandeered whole streets to film!

    I’m from Bath and it is known for its Georgian architecture not Victorian 😂 also regarding the Bath bun, the Sally Lunn one is it’s own thing and the Bath bun you had in the Bath bun shop is what an actual Bath bun is. The Ivy did used to do an afternoon tea with them as well but sadly have stopped now. Most people if they are flying from Europe can easily fly to Bristol airport, I’ve never ever had to fly internationally from Cardiff or Birmingham 😂 you can also fly to Heathrow and take a national express bus direct to Bath if you’re flying from somewhere outside of Europe too.

    Hoping to go to Bath, London and Edinburgh next summer 2023! Any recommendation on the order? I am finding that flying into Heathrow and going to Bath first by train, spending a couple of days there, back to London for four days, then train to Edinburgh (fly out of EDI back to US) seems the best route because I don't find a good train from Bath to Edinburgh that doesn't go back through London anyway. But I love how you give ideas, pricing, routes to getting places, all the great tips in your videos. London video - ESPECIALLY loved how you "zoned" things so you could hit one area per day and know what to see. I feel really great about planning a trip there!

    • @UltimateBucketList
      @UltimateBucketList  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Stephanie, thanks very much!
      I personally think you got the order pretty much spot on, as trains are more readily available (and cheaper) direct to and from London (cheapest and fastest trains are with a company called 'Avanti').
      You'll want to spend most of your trip exploring London, as you could do Bath in a single day (you'll need two at the very most) and it's the same for Edinburgh.
      Speaking of which, my video on Edinburgh has been filmed ... but I haven't got around to editing it yet.
      Turn on the notifications for my channel so that you know when it goes on live :)

      The way I'd go from Bath to Edinburgh is that there are a few direct trains from Bristol, but not that manu (just 15 minutes from Bath by train) or a cheaper option is to go to Newport (which is about three quarters of an hour by train from Bath), then from there to Crewe or Manchester, and from there to Edinburgh

    i read somewhere that area's like the circus are actually built on former arena's. It was the case in Rome itself where they found the location of a former gladiator arena smaller than the official colloseum. Since those where made of wood often this could also be the case here. Interesting thought

      That’s not the only correction. ‘Victorian and Greek architecture’. What on earth? The circus and royal crescent makes him feel uncomfortable because it’s where ‘rich people’ live. Maybe if I'm in Milan again for a match, but I wouldn't go out of my way just to do a tour there. Apparently it's a bit rubbish.
      As a Milan fan, I'm almost stunned at the amount of progress they've made. I was sceptical about re-signing Ibrahimovic and even more sceptical about Stefano Pioli as manager, given that he's been mediocre for every club he's managed. But I've been proven horribly wrong because they look pretty good right now, both in terms of playing and results. I think they're two or three players away from challenging for the Champions League title, but they're still behind Liverpool, Real Madrid and Manchester City.
      Forza Milan!
