I really like your sew alongs, calm, quiet and methodical, all round a great help, but i wonder if it would be possible for you to give fabric details, type of fabric content, and your advice on alternatives etc and the amount of fabric especially when you have remnants from your shop. Thanks very much and here is to many more sew alongside as they are just so good.

Hi Andrea. Like several others I’ve had the same issue with the shoulder seams. I adjusted the seam width then on the next make I adjusted the pattern as you did. Seems to be a common issue so maybe SOI need to review that part of the pattern. I’ve made a couple without the tie and one with the tie and planning to make a couple more. It always feels more than just a tee shirt when I wear it. Thanks for your hints and tips 🤓🏴

Glad to see you look lovely in your Audrey. I instantly fell in love with the pattern last year when I saw it on Lisa and bought it. The first one I made according to measurements in the pattern I felt really uncomfortable wearing. I sized up and my second one is wearable but still a disappointment because it doesn't look as beautiful on me. Unfortunately I have had this happen to me with SOI patterns before. I always fall in love with their patterns because I love the style but I have come to the conclusion that my body shape is so far from what they are drafted for. I have brought shoulders, a small bust and don't feel comfortable when tops are slim fitting - just the opposite off what Lisa is going for. The style is perfect for you.

Hi Andrea, I don't have an over lock machine, could I just use a double needle and just do a stitch around the front of the top, arms and hem! I wish I could have seen U work close up on your cover stitch around the neck!!! Thank-you for the demo. Your Audrey tops really suit U!!!

I also found it useful to know about the sizing and seam allowance you used as we are pretty much the same size. Choosing the right size is always an issue for me! I love that fabric 🥰. Thank you for your lovely sew along.How much fabric did you use ? It says on the pattern 2.2 of fabric 1.15 wide,or 1.4 for fabric 1 .40 wide. This is for version 2. It seemed a very generous amount of fabric. Glad that your shoulder is on the mend, I have previously had problems with my shoulder ,so sympathise. Thank you. Ann .

Hi, I have done that exact same adjustment on my Audrey tops, as I found it sat up too high, it works perfectly. Great to see I was guessing right! Thank you 😊

I also found the collar/neck sat too high for me. I do prefer the 3/4 sleeves. I will have to make one with short sleeve, as they do look equally as nice. ❤️🙋🏼♀️❤️
