After viewing this, my confidence levels have elevated to a level that I feel ready to sit at the machine and get it made!! Thanks.
I just finished my first Olivia blouse in pure crepe silk. It was a challenge, but it turned out very beautiful! I cannot tell you how valuable your video has been. Your explanations along with the very clear video walked me through the construction of this blouse. A million thanks for your efforts and talents! PS I added to the hem and ended up adding a strip to the bottom to form the hem, otherwise, it would have been too short (and I am a petit!). Thanks for the heads up!

Whilst I'm waiting for my Olivia pattern to arrive, I've just ordered the Atelier Jupe Emma blouse in PDF from your good self. I am so very grateful for your sewalongs: I would not have the confidendce to attempt them otherwise!
Ordered this pattern in the spring, printed it, and then shoved it into a corner. Going through my fabrics, I realized a remnant I picked up about two years ago would be perfect for this project. After a month of matching fabric to pattern, I was finally able to make it. I took your lead with the blouse hem and it looks beautiful! Thank you for taking the time to create and post your sewalongs.
Just wanted to say huge thanks for a fabulous tutorial. I loved the Olivia pattern but was feeling very daunted by the sparse instructions on the information book. Your video was so clear. Made the blouse with no mistakes (a first) and it’s a perfect fit. Delighted. Hope your move goes smoothly. ❤

I like how you made the collar. I am going to do it like that. Also looking at Atelier Jupe patterns, the Freeda blouse is identical except for a pleat in the back instead of gathers so I don't need to buy that one.
You’re welcome Jayne , it’s a great make . The Frida has the same type of collar but it’s got a yoke and set in sleeves so it’s perfect for those who don’t like the raglan sleeve on the Olivia . It also has a button band all the way down the front so it looks similar but it’s quite different . I like both . Delighted you found the video helpful 💕
Just recently came across your channel and enjoy every minute. I see some pictures of you in a lovely dark blue coat. With snaps in the front. If this is a pattern that you’ve tried, could I ask you what pattern it is and if you have a sew along video. I’ve been searching through the playlists and just can’t find it! I would be so grateful. Yes definitely you can do this collar method on any pattern. I love a bit of hand gathering .. I had plenty of practice of gathering in the 90s making the ‘meringue’ bridesmaids dresses. 😂
