And the moment Visual said "a publicity stunt from animal rights group PETA" I punched the air and shouted "I KNEW IT!". Only they would do something that stupid.
No bc I thought it would be fun to look it up as a horror fan, even though I hate PETA, and I pressed “add to cart” on something to see what it would say, and it took me to the “about” section and showed me graphic pictures of people and animals :( I mean, that’s kinda on me, bc I forgot how far PETA will go for a second, but damn
Oh I remember WPD. The boys in my class of then 13-ish year olds, all huddled around one computer, snickering and laughing. They showed me a video, a crash between a car and a scooter, and I felt a heavy drop in my stomach when they told me the driver scooter driver had died right then and there, all on video and uploaded to the internet. But I still looked it up myself when I got home out of morbid curiosity, but one more of those videos made me just shut down the entire computer. I can't imagine why anyone would want to be consuming that kind of content casually
Personally, it helps me come to grips with my own mortality. Everyones afraid of death But seeing these kinds of videos makes me be a bit more cautious of my surroundings, cautious of my driving y'know
Did anyone else rent the Faces of Death series on VHS back in the day? It was in the adult section (oddly but not oddly) was VHS footage of uncensored news events, executions, and accidents. Hello. I'm from the community of WPD at the end. I'll state that I'm not particularly into gore, but I was desensitized as a kid to it and grew up with it being something that doesn't bother me, on top of that my grandfather is the lead medical examiner so death has always been around me. I'm a pacifist and don't even kill bugs lol. But the website actually has a lot of very wholesome people, most end up there because they went through some sort of trauma in life. I know I sure did in life. Of over two million registered users, I'm the 25th most followed person on the platform. And I don't even like gore. But I like to talk to people there about being at rock bottom in life. I like to spread a message of positivity there. Mostly after I attempted suicide, I try to reach out to everyone that life is short, and you only get one chance. Just be kind and do the best you can. Anyways, thank you for reading this. I hope you have a wonderful day.

I cannot understand Peta. How not wearing leather is helping the environment? Could someone please explain how a synthetic jacket is less prejudicial than a leather one, I can't wrap my head around it. My leather jacket has about 15 years of everyday use, my slip-on sneakers about 4 years, my cigarette case, belts, even the phone case is leather. It's a natural material, kind of a byproduct of having domestic animals for milk and meat. Now, a synthetic jacket ... you can't even trace all the chemical crap that went into making it. Leathers are mostly local made, helps the small or medium commerce, it's not an evil bloodsucking monster, the likes of Nike and such always give me the creeps. You people are insane.
peta is not about the environment, they're about animals and animal abuse, they hate seeing animals die or be used to make any kind of products even foods, which i think is complete bullshit
I have always worked that as well but @SMB-M87 said it’s the primary use that is the problem. Why would you ever waste a living creature? But then I guess why not human? I don’t think we would make good leather otherwise I am certain we would have done it, we are more like pigs anyway I am going way off topic I respect PETA and wish I wasn’t a meat eater but can’t help it.
What I meant to say with primary stream, is that animals are breeded for the sole purpose of their fur and the rest is put in the trash so to speak. Again the use of leather as byproduct from farm or even the meat industry really isn't the problem. I never heard anyone say that leather should be illegal, but certain practices to solely get leather are.

because its *politically incorrect to do so* its all about keeping people away from ideologies or ideas that may adversely affect their current position in life who am i reffering to "their" in the sentence, you may ask, put simply, its people in power, ceo's, managers, senators, presidents, and anyone else who wholds influence amongst a certain group of people.
people who go to unfiltered sites will tend to spread harmful & extremist shit driving everyone else away while normal people will go to their normal censored sites because they aren't saying harmful things and don't get affected by the rules people who do are
The dark web is all that and a can of beans. in all seriousness though, if there was a page with no filters on the normal web then that could feed into some people to do things they were unsure about before. Murder, sa, “self deletion” and other unthinkable acts are just some examples of what a page with no boundaries or rules could influence people to commit these acts. People are scared to visit the dark web because of consequences, but on the normal internet? Messed up people would jump at that opportunity to see and feed into messed up ideals with no consequence. Thank you for reading and I hope I gave a better understanding of why this idea isn’t ideal.
As someone who has worked in adult care i found certain shock/gore websites helpful in desensitising me ready for when i was face to face with the real thing, life is gory and gross at times, it shouldn’t be pushed in your face but we can’t hide from it completely
That is quite exactly how I describe in house or in garden cameras. Why the f ppl have those in all rooms of their house baffles me. Or in the sauna in the dressing rooms (happened near to a sauna near to me.) While I'm not interesting, a women sports team was and images ended up on the public internet. Oops.
Tbf that first website was an amazing idea for story-telling / Store Merchandise even if it was made by PETA. If they actually distributed clothes that were made to look like that then props to them, I would've probs gotten a t-shirt too.
This is why I don't like sites like Reddit. People are deranged sometimes and yes, curiosity can very well get the best of people - even when it shouldn't. Like I've gone through rabbit holes I have huge regrets going into, and then it scars me pretty much for life - if not simply a long time. I don't use social platforms, but even on YT, I've gotta delete stuff that would take me back to said searches, and I refuse to watch the news anymore because again, it triggers that fear.
I stumbled on the front page of best gore and was already disgusted. I did not click anything, but just the one picture I saw and the knowledge of it's existence haunted me.
Peta's PR stunts often are so stupid, they become advocates for what they fight against. Urban Outrages is soooo childish, like 14yo came up with the edgy idea and decided to roll with it. At this point I fully believe Peta is a money laundering operation.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
Mark 1.15
15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Hebrews 11:6
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Leather as byproduct isn't the issue, Leather as primary product is.
*wondered not worked
What I meant to say with primary stream, is that animals are breeded for the sole purpose of their fur and the rest is put in the trash so to speak.
Again the use of leather as byproduct from farm or even the meat industry really isn't the problem.
I never heard anyone say that leather should be illegal, but certain practices to solely get leather are.
believe it or not, disturbing stuff is shown on here too.. I was flipping through my shorts and came across someone choking a kitten. very small kitten, had his index and thumb wrapped around its neck and its tongue sticking out.. I reported it a million times. I thought it was fake until the kitten was moving. then he started shaking it and you can hear him laughing. sick people are everywhere.
This heartbroked me :(
I can't imagine a small animal being treated like that while it didn't even do anything wrong.. justice for that kitten.

Addresses & amounts don't appear on the blockchain. sender IP addresses are auto-shielded at the network level. everything runs on battle-tested and proven cryptography. Monero is a permissionless and decentralized Proof-of-Work protocol. Therefore, it benefits from the security properties of similar networks, like no central authority and no control over transaction data or user’s personal information. You shouldn't transfer that ofcourse to another account, just buy new stuff with monero from monero to monero. Easy as that.

idk why the internet refuses to have an unfiltered site (obviusly no childs), as its not encouraging violence but rather helping spread why one needs to stay safe

who am i reffering to "their" in the sentence, you may ask, put simply, its people in power, ceo's, managers, senators, presidents, and anyone else who wholds influence amongst a certain group of people.
people who go to unfiltered sites will tend to spread harmful & extremist shit driving everyone else away while normal people will go to their normal censored sites because they aren't saying harmful things and don't get affected by the rules people who do are
The dark web is all that and a can of beans. in all seriousness though, if there was a page with no filters on the normal web then that could feed into some people to do things they were unsure about before.
