I haven an P40pro (not the ultra with 10x zoom) and last week me and a friend made a picture off a bird sitting on a pole, 10x zoom, the iphone 13 pro looked like an oil painting. Fok you with your 420 euro phone. so i don't know what apple is doing with the zoom, huawei has some great technicks for it.

In night video you can see more lens reflection on iPhone 13 pro max and less bright video. But Huawei shines in night video. I don't know why he said iPhone is better at night video
I still think the p50 pro is better. With selfies I love the p50 pro I think the pale skin tones of the front camera to the skin is better than the iPhone's artificial saturation. With the microphone I have no comment on it

Great job. Overall I like iphone for videos and indoor portraits and human subject photos. I preferred p50 pro for most daytime photos, zoom and nightmode. Would like to see some non nightmode night photos too with the p50pro as the mate 40 pro takes better photos with nightmode off so curious to see if the p50pro is the same. The selfies on the p50 pro actually seem better than most other Chinese flagships which tend to overexpose a bit. Thanks for another thorough comparison
13 pro max for video that’s about 50% of comparison already but doesn’t meant it got all 50%, human photos and human portraits, front camera videos and portraits. P50pro for overall better colours, zoom and night shots and exposure. I prefer 13 pro max, I think it wins most of the areas
In night video Huawei wins cause you can see lens reflection on iPhone. In ultra wide shots iphone can't render correct skies. In general daytime video, if you look closely you can see that iPhone is a bit darker and greener in the environment and the skies. Also in photos iPhone has warm human tones. That's why Huawei p50 pro is better. And that's why DXO mark tested it in all categories with specialist and professional equipment and crowned it king of photography

Biggest takeaway during the livestream: 1. The most important element that seems to be missing on the Oneplus 9RT's rear cameras. 2. What's missing on the Google Pixel 6 Pro that nobody talks about? 3. Harmony OS on the Huawei P50 pro.
I've been enjoying the harmony OS upgrade on my p30pro. The plus is I have Huawei laptop, earphone, headphones, and watch they interact magically together. Luckily p30 pro still has google ect but dang I want the p50 pro and hoping they release pro plus

It is getting harder with selfies to choose a winner, in your last video i struggled a lot to write a comment , and in this one too. For the first time i will not choose the best selfie, rather i will choose the selfie i like the most. The first thing i want to notice is that contrast and colors seems more realistic on the Huawei, the blue on the mask is the exact blue of a mask i have in my home, so shocked to have seen real colors in a photo. The iphone on the other hand has more details and better bokeh (although it blurred Amanda in one photo). The skin colours both seem realistic to me, good to see smartphones that take pictures without beauty effect, but they are different, on the iphone she is tanned meanwhile on the Huawei she is whiter, so i dont know what to believe. Both are giving excelent selfie photos and there are no real differences between them two, but id rather upload a selfie taken with the huawei than with the iphone, so it goes to Huawei.

Personally I liked shot from p50 pro,iphone did well in terms of skin tone,exposure and white balance but what I care the most is details(I can edit skin tone,fairness later so it might not be a pblm for me)biggest reason for it is because of Auto focus
Pavement textures are always a problem for phone cameras at night. The P50 Pro's pavement textures are incredibly crisp compared to the iPhone or even my Mate 40 Pro. There's quite a bit of noise in those photos, but that means the P50 isn't dropping detail by over-smoothing them. You can see where the iPhone has smoothed out the details in the center of fields of similar color, leaving noise at the edges, making the photos look like compressed JPGs... where the P50 looks more like an out-of-camera shot from a mirrorless or DSLR. Also, the level of detail in the background buildings is amazing... and the banding in the sky where the gradients are too subtle for smartphone cameras to capture at night is much less pronounced in the P50 shots. - Nice selfie set. I am not fond of over-processed bokeh, but the P50 has nice dynamics and contrast, while still keeping the texture in both the dark sweater and your model's face. Apple has more natural feeling backgrounds, but a bit too much smoothing and processing on the model's face. But it's very close. Both do very good work.

I am also agree with Han about that, if human is the subject of the photo than their skin tone, skin fairness, and beauty effect ia the most attention cause we want to get realistic photo that still makes the subject looks good but not artificial because if it to overprocessed it sometimes look like a mess or worse look like a ghost just like what Han's always said
@@adinur9954 no issue with performance and battery life. Huawei's power management is very aggressive due to their software, sometimes it's actually annoying when background apps are closed automatically. It's able to handle anything you throw at it, the only problem is lack of Google service.

Wow i can see a lot of changes from the new update of the p50 pro,it looks really improved in every scenarios especially the night mode ,but the iphone is just always a little step above in other photos, the front video camera looks very good on the p50 pro but it lacks the dynamic range and for the main camera videos the iphone algorithm just processed it way better imo,as for the selfiea it looks kinda lifeless on the p50 pro as compares to the poppy contrasty photos of the iphone but it depends on personal preferences ,keep up the good work man 👍

In all your iphone 13 pro max comparison I usually see IPhone is usually better but OMG what Huawei has done, imo. Indoor p50 much better: more illumination, more HDR, more details and much more clarity(all iphone pics are foggy compared to p50) . Subjects: both good but compared to p50, iPhone pictures seems foggy. Outdoor also p50 better, more HDR(no sky burnt like iphone in some pictures) and each crop of image... Always p50 better. Night... Always p50 better. Day video: p50 better stability, HDR and colors Nigh video(where always iphone crushes their rivals) : Iphone better stability but p50 faces iphone in details and get more light. Selfie video: different because iphone show more the back but very dark face while p50 shows perfect face illumination but burns the far back buildings. IPhone better stabilisation but p50 much more wider. Selfies: Iphone good but too orange and p50 much more wide, more realistic colors, quality similar, but in your picture iphone has some issues with focus in some pictures. For me, except for selfie (very different and difficult to compare) and night video where maybe iphone is a little better, p50 is the best... I'm shocked... For the conclusion, i agree with Han iPhone for Video, Huawei for Nighmode photo, and other aspects they comes neck in neck For selfie,Unlike many camera comparison in The past selfie photo between these two is truly comes down to prefference, cause besides the difference in couple aspect like contrast (higher on Huawei) saturation (higher on iPhone) & the most noticeable is different in skin tone i think the auto focus + ultra wide lens that present on P50 pro is a big deal for many people. Another thing that i notice is some selfie Portrait on iPhone doesn't keep Amanda in focus & blured it. Once again, great comparison video with Detailed explanation & lots of information. Like a professional dslr the bokeh on a portrait lens can only focus on one small area, where the background will be blurred and the face of the girl in the selfie on the iPhone. The iPhone managed the blurring like a professional dslr. If you want both people sharp, you can adjust the aperture on a higher number
very real comparison. For me, it's interesting and a kind of mistery to me how no Android smartphone (even in 2021) can't beat iPhone in videography, especially night video. iPhone is obviously better in video. Also, Android smartphones have to install better hardware (bigger sensors and better optics) to compete with iPhone in still photos, day and night. Is it so hard to make better computational photography on Android? P.S. I'am an Android user...

Great video, thx I think both cameras are good, but..they oversharpen way to much and have overdone beautify filter on the pictures. in your building/city photos, the buildings looked 2dimensional and “glued on” the background. Was surprised to se the auto blush filter of the iPhone to.

I think you should make another category called, Instagram Camara, and show us how does it look in both phones when you are video recording or taking a pic on instagram, because thats a big deal for a lot of people, including me, for making a decision of which one i should buy. I know Iphone is the king, but i still want to know how does it looks in a P50 Pro or in a Xiaomi, Samsung, Redmi phone.
its look like huawei better in low light than in day..because its sharp and natural.. not like iphone 13 its look like the camera have hue like vivid color and a bit unsharp and blurr for balance..p50 look like fresh human eyes
Huawei always had better camera than iphone , so nothing new . Wish i can buy p50pro here in Denmark . In this comparation huawei wins in almost every category easy but night mode makes huge difference. Selfie camera on p50 works better when it comes to skin tone , colors looks more natural and when theres two of you iphone blurred Amanda :/. Shadows looks better on iphone in selfie camera. For awhile now Huawei do mess up their stellar camera performance with camera updates but am glad Huawei held up against the iPhone even beating it in major areas (except video which iPhone stills reigns). I don't know why most articles and tech reviewers say the iPhone is the best camera phone when the Vivo x70 pro plus is ahead of it. Love the video ❤ and anticipating Oct. 22 when the hype gets real. Have been wait for the pixel to see if it lives up to the hype.

Huawei has always been one of the top shelf camera phones and the P50 series further proves the point. However this year's Iphone camera is a massive leap from the previous. Kudos to Apple. For me, I prefer the P50 for camera performance but as a smartphone, Iphone all the way..
Both are the best in photography and videos. The Huawei was indeed better in nighttime pictures and the iPhone in nighttime video. The iPhone did better in selfie pictures and selfie video and did better in pictures of human. The Huawei had a more true to life blue sky. Thanks for this comparison
For me i can't tell there defference, but if you want a better camera Like in IPhone 13 pro max but you can't afford it, you can go with Huawei P50 pro it's still the best camera for me even without google services but steel a great phone. Kudos Huawie.

P50 Pro selfie skin tone is cooler at times but iphone 13 pro max is warmer for skin tone...almost look like a light tan on asian beauty

@@adinur9954 no issue with performance and battery life. Huawei's power management is very aggressive due to their software, sometimes it's actually annoying when background apps are closed automatically. It's able to handle anything you throw at it, the only problem is lack of Google service.

Wow i can see a lot of changes from the new update of the p50 pro,it looks really improved in every scenarios especially the night mode ,but the iphone is just always a little step above in other photos, the front video camera looks very good on the p50 pro but it lacks the dynamic range and for the main camera videos the iphone algorithm just processed it way better imo,as for the selfiea it looks kinda lifeless on the p50 pro as compares to the poppy contrasty photos of the iphone but it depends on personal preferences ,keep up the good work man 👍

In all your iphone 13 pro max comparison I usually see IPhone is usually better but OMG what Huawei has done, imo.
Indoor p50 much better: more illumination, more HDR, more details and much more clarity(all iphone pics are foggy compared to p50) .
Subjects: both good but compared to p50, iPhone pictures seems foggy.
Outdoor also p50 better, more HDR(no sky burnt like iphone in some pictures) and each crop of image... Always p50 better.
Night... Always p50 better.
Day video: p50 better stability, HDR and colors
Nigh video(where always iphone crushes their rivals) : Iphone better stability but p50 faces iphone in details and get more light.
Selfie video: different because iphone show more the back but very dark face while p50 shows perfect face illumination but burns the far back buildings. IPhone better stabilisation but p50 much more wider.
Selfies: Iphone good but too orange and p50 much more wide, more realistic colors, quality similar, but in your picture iphone has some issues with focus in some pictures.
For me, except for selfie (very different and difficult to compare) and night video where maybe iphone is a little better, p50 is the best... I'm shocked... Its a pity the Huawei situation for the brand and for the users.

For the conclusion, i agree with Han iPhone for Video, Huawei for Nighmode photo, and other aspects they comes neck in neck
For selfie,Unlike many camera comparison in The past selfie photo between these two is truly comes down to prefference, cause besides the difference in couple aspect like contrast (higher on Huawei) saturation (higher on iPhone) & the most noticeable is different in skin tone i think the auto focus + ultra wide lens that present on P50 pro is a big deal for many people. Another thing that i notice is some selfie Portrait on iPhone doesn't keep Amanda in focus & blured it.

Like a professional dslr the bokeh on a portrait lens can only focus on one small area, where the background will be blurred and the face of the girl in the selfie on the iPhone. The iPhone managed the blurring like a professional dslr. If you want both people sharp, you can adjust the aperture on a higher number

For me, it's interesting and a kind of mistery to me how no Android smartphone (even in 2021) can't beat iPhone in videography, especially night video. iPhone is obviously better in video. Also, Android smartphones have to install better hardware (bigger sensors and better optics) to compete with iPhone in still photos, day and night. Is it so hard to make better computational photography on Android? P.S. I'am an Android user...

I think both cameras are good, but..they oversharpen way to much and have overdone beautify filter on the pictures.
in your building/city photos, the buildings looked 2dimensional and “glued on” the background. Was surprised to se the auto blush filter of the iPhone to.

I loved the video, great content you have. I think you should make another category called, Instagram Camara, and show us how does it look in both phones when you are video recording or taking a pic on instagram, because thats a big deal for a lot of people, including me, for making a decision of which one i should buy. I know Iphone is the king, but i still want to know how does it looks in a P50 Pro or in a Xiaomi, Samsung, Redmi phone.

selfie difference is color and focus, group fotos are way better on p50 pro but skin tones look so good on iphone.

Huawei always had better camera than iphone , so nothing new . Wish i can buy p50pro here in Denmark . In this comparation huawei wins in almost every category easy but night mode makes huge difference. Selfie camera on p50 works better when it comes to skin tone , colors looks more natural and when theres two of you iphone blurred Amanda :/. Shadows looks better on iphone in selfie camera. Bit like from Denmark , keep the good work.

For awhile now Huawei do mess up their stellar camera performance with camera updates but am glad Huawei held up against the iPhone even beating it in major areas (except video which iPhone stills reigns). I don't know why most articles and tech reviewers say the iPhone is the best camera phone when the Vivo x70 pro plus is ahead of it. Love the video ❤ and anticipating Oct. 22 when the hype gets real. Have been wait for the pixel to see if it lives up to the hype.
Vivo 70 pro plus is only marginally ahead in the back camera’s but is worse in selfie camera and can’t switch between lenses in 4K video

Both are the best in photography and videos. The Huawei was indeed better in nighttime pictures and the iPhone in nighttime video. The iPhone did better in selfie pictures and selfie video and did better in pictures of human. The Huawei had a more true to life blue sky. Thanks for this comparison

For me i can't tell there defference, but if you want a better camera Like in IPhone 13 pro max but you can't afford it, you can go with Huawei P50 pro it's still the best camera for me even without google services but steel a great phone. Kudos Huawie.
