I've always wanted a white coloured light for my keyboard, but after I saw you put that Cyan = Wow, I fell in love. I thought that was the default colour at first. Maybe somewhere in the far future I'll be able to buy laptops/keyboards to setup that colour. Thanks for the awesome videos.
Bought a Razer Blade Stealth Late 2016 couple months ago (love it, hate the bezels tho), was like naw I'll be fine with it...regrets get heavier and heavier as I continued to watch the video. When Dave said "if you just bought the old Razer Blade Stealth, I feel bad for you s0n," I died a little inside.
but the 4k rbs one has one of the best laptop displays on the market! next to the xps 15 4k, the alienware 13 oled, and the macbook pro 2016/2017 displays
it's alright. Technology is growing so much in recent years and I am sure a lot of other people will have the same experience as yours. Your 2016 blade stealth should last you a good amount of years until you will need a new one, just do more research and look at the timing at the next time you do a purchase on computer hardware in general. Meh I'd say they're OK... Smaller bezels means smaller PC, and I don't want side firing speakers or a fucked up keyboard and tiny ass trackpad... And if they size up the screen, it's not a 'stealth' PC anymore...

Im so mad i bought the old razer blade stealth 2 months before the new one released and i had literally no clue that they were coming out with a new one the same year they released the first gen... i mean the performance isnt too much different but that battery life and bezel size is so much better on the new ones, i wish i could trade this is or something cuz im gonna have to buy their "powerbank" which will be released soon hopefully. However, complaints aside, great video dave!
ditto here, same specs, same price, 5 months ago. I don't think we need the power bank though, I can get 8-9 hours easily with browsing and daily use, while charging off the wall is quite fast.

Dave, you took no time to review an expensive over priced product like this. But you are not even aware of the Lenovo Yoga 720 15, a 2-in-1 with a GTX 1050 i7 7700HQ, great screen and NVME Drives. It goes spec to spec with Dell XPS 15 and is 500$ cheaper, costing just 1000$. I really wish you would find and review more great value-for-money laptops like the Lenovo Yoga 720 15. I know you do not do this on purpose but just think about it, it may just seem you only do videos of companies that connect with you, or you connect with, than reviewing what is best out there. Was extremely happy that you made us aware of value in a laptop like Aero 15. Would really love more of that :)

if you live in a dorm with roommate(s) it has lit up keyboard and you can work at night without a problem. I take it to lectures: it is fast and battery life is good. Only problem is buy a skin, it's made from aluminium and ain't friends with dirty hands
I just picked one up on new egg for 890 refurbished. I'm super pumped I'm not sure how much are going to still be in stock so act fast if you want one for the cheap!
The gunmetal version also fixes a lot of the complaints. It looks less gamer-ish without the green logo, it doesn't have a flashy keyboard (even though you could just set it to white on the RGB version), and the USB ports are a normal black instead of green. It's a laptop that people would feel more comfortable with at a business meeting. Before you'd have to use a DBrand skin that covers the logo and get some USB port covers.

Good review as usual. You might want to mention though that external GPUs even over TB3 can lower performance more than 15% for applications that utilize a lot of PCIe bandwidth (sometimes as much as half), TB3 is an x4 connection vs the 16x slot most dedicated internal GPUs go into.
I bought the older blade stealth with the 12.5 inch screen and I absolutely love it. Now that I have had it for a few months I don't notice the much at all. I think that razer was smart to bump the screen size. It think it will turn a lot more people on to razers excellent products. In the future I would like them to continue down the same the past by keeping the same body but making more and more upgrades. Iris graphics would be really great

Here's an idea for Razer.... if they added some sort of mount mechanism on the external GPU case (Razer core) they make for their laptops (or any other ultrabook), to not only reduce the space it takes up, but also make it look more pleasant to the eyes when placing it on virtually any desk. That should be a thing. Sounds simple, but I think that would add a lot IMO. Then again, that would mean making another itteration of the Razer Core but it could also leave them room for improving other things on it as well. Like size. Not that it's too big, for all intents and purposes, but just for sake of being able to do so with a new version of the product. Other than that I feel like these ultrabooks are honestly top notch. They're beautiful for what they offer and their overall aesthetic. I cannot complain about the price either given the build quality adds a lot of value to these ultrabooks and that's something most people never consider because they make every laptop/ultrabook sound as though they are all made the same as the next chromebook in terms of overall quality and design. It's more than just about the hardware itself, than it is about how well engineered these things can be to even be that thin while packing relatively intense hardware. Sorry for the last bit. I kind of went into a tangent, but that's just what I have to say about it. Loved the video as always. Much love!
