I have the late 2016 version of the stealth which is basically the same but with the 12.5 inch screen. I bought the core and this thing does very very well with it.

To be honest is not that expensive. It is expensive because they put the graphic cards in a very small space, it is hard to do it. That's why you see even pc cost lesser then that.
Yet they list it under "gaming systems" on their website. Perhaps Razer should do a little better job of marketing their products if they're diving into the over-priced laptops game.

When it comes to laptops though, i didn't want a windows laptop. So i went to the Mac side of things and i loved it from the first minute! I bought one of these last week with the 6th Generation i7, 512GB M.2, UHD 4k display, refurbished, and for $999.99, it is pretty sweet. I can Steam stream XCOM 2 on max settings to anywhere that has decent wifi and yeah the laptop is pretty slick. It can even natively stream some really low profile gaming with Xsplit. My only complaint is that when it overheats it sounds like a jet engine. I looked everywhere for a ryzen laptop with low end RX560 graphics (even an RX560 is better than these integrated graphics). Other than the crap integrated graphics, and the turbine sounding fans, it is pretty awesome. 3.5/5. In the future I hope ultrabooks come with low-end gpus.
I'm looking for a laptop that's great for day to day gaming, by day to day gaming, I mean a couple of hours on LoL, and internet browsing. I really don't know whether I should get the Razer Blade Stealth, or a MacBook Pro 13' with touchbar? Knowing my parents, they probably won't get me the MacBook, but I really need some advice, since I don't want to be stuck on a linux for any longer. I've heard they're both overpriced, especially the MacBook Pro, cause hey, it's $2500 over where I live, and it's not okay. I need someone that actually knows which one is better for me, not Apple fanboys or Windows lovers.
I have friends who got the 2500 dollar macbook pro. Who are having occasional issues with the keyboard and trackpad disabling itself randomly. And random screen flickers.... although not big problems they were resolved. Still very worrying and something you'd definitely not expect from a device that cost so much.... I'd go razer

I just bought one of these and love it. Im not really looking for a high spec laptop. I had one and never really used it for that. I just need something mobile with decent specs and battery life. Plus the build quality is amazing on this. As for gaming its obviously not built for that but it can handle minor games. Overwatch, csgo, and civ are mostly what I have tried so far.
Allright you've done the blade pro and the blade stealth, just do the regular blade already... it's clearly the best of both worlds and one of the most competent laptops to this date.

I have a 2013 macbook pro, and my girlfriends pc that had the same specs really lost more performance than the MBP and she has now got a new macbook seeing that mine "lasted" longer. If someone could tell me that a PC could last as long and would be hands down better value performance etc then i would get used to windows 10! The main reason i have a mac is because i dont like the modern Windows system
I'd buy a razer laptop if I didn't care about money. I have a Helios 300 for my gaming nowadays. Not as portable but is cheaper and does the job great. The new stealth has a 1650 and very portable so I think people will buy that. If it's any good.

TheIronHunter It depends on which game you want to play. It won't be able to play GTA V, Battlefield 1, CoD WW2, Rocket League, PUBG, Fallout 4, or anything of that caliber at 60 FPS. Although at 30 FPS Low/Medium settings some of these might work.
DontGetOffended This is the one with no dedicated GPU so it's not for high-end gaming, but the i7 CPU alone will certainly be great for web browsing, light video editing, media playback, and most of all, multitasking. If you don't care at all for light weight I suggest getting a laptop with a dedicated GPU and i7 CPU. There are options for under $1000.
the specs dont tell it as a gaming laptop at all, it doesnt even have a dedicated GPU. by that logic any laptop with an i7 can be a gaming laptop. I mean theoretically you can plug an external gpu in but that defeats the purpose of a laptop because it has to be constantly plugged into the wall then.

TheIronHunter It depends on which game you want to play. It won't be able to play GTA V, Battlefield 1, CoD WW2, Rocket League, PUBG, Fallout 4, or anything of that caliber at 60 FPS. Although at 30 FPS Low/Medium settings some of these might work.
DontGetOffended This is the one with no dedicated GPU so it's not for high-end gaming, but the i7 CPU alone will certainly be great for web browsing, light video editing, media playback, and most of all, multitasking. If you don't care at all for light weight I suggest getting a laptop with a dedicated GPU and i7 CPU. There are options for under $1000.

the specs dont tell it as a gaming laptop at all, it doesnt even have a dedicated GPU. by that logic any laptop with an i7 can be a gaming laptop. I mean theoretically you can plug an external gpu in but that defeats the purpose of a laptop because it has to be constantly plugged into the wall then.
