- The movie is a lesson on how to live life, examining the lives of Hari and Aarthi, who are deaf and mute. They meet, fall in love, marry and have a child. They raise him well and he marries a girl similar to his parents. All they have to help them is their hope, confidence and some kindness in the society, along with Uncle Narayan, who is blind. Tragedy strikes their lives as well when they lose their first child thanks to Kanu's greed. But they never give up hope on life and not in one instance during the entire movie do they think about ending it. They live life, fight for it and succeed at a bigger scale than any normal person.

इसलिए मैं आज भी पुरानी फिल्में देखता हूँ, क्यों कि दिल को छू लेने वाली हक़ीक़त और बेहतरीन अदाकारी पुराने एक्टर्स में बहुत अच्छी थी।

I had seen this movie went it was first released in 1972...and it was also the first movie that was screened in Sep 1973 by the Indian Students' Assoc aft I came to the US for higher studies...I remember inviting my American host family to this movie...and this is the first time am seeing it again on Dec 27, 2020.

The biggest crime did in the film industry is to prevent Jaya ji from acting. No sound only acting but nowhere Jaya ji looked mismatch with legendary actor Sanjeev Kumar. Hat's off to both of them.
