Shouldn't one design and develop their own portfolio site instead of using a templates? It kind of seems like a cop out.

Nice! I’d like to see another video for the best templates to create amazing small business sites. These are kind of niche and maybe not as transferable to your average small business site

All websites have compromised bit of UX for UI.

These are cool! I'd love to see how WOW did the animations where the 2 images pop out from behind the central image

Websites are getting out of control. The first one was pretty cool, at least it didn't have oversized photos and junk moving and flitting around the port. As a user, I HATE going to websites designed that way. Overdoing the flashiness on the front end makes me think cheap product/sketchy service. #LessIsMore

Agreed, I'd go as far to say that the "Ticked" one is borderline unusable with the amount going on.

Yes, even tho I *really* liked the style of the wow-template, after I tried it everything is way to oversized IMO. Especially on mac screens and even if I switch over to the 28" Monitor, the "Let's work together" isn't visible fully.
My personal website hate feature: sticky sections that only flip further after you rolled half a mile with your mousewheel

Thanks for sharing these websites, they're really nice and each one is quite different from each other. However, when I visited them on mobile, they don't shine as much. Some of them are overloaded with content or big photos, some have other issues. And many microanimations are gone. Could you focus more on mobile in upcoming videos, please?
