Obviously, your so called golden age only relates to Ethiopians... You need to broaden your scope when you are making broad sweeping statements like that. There are excellent Kenyan athletes as well. And of course Hassan
Sifan loves the pain of running and special the pain of a marathon. She will be the coming GOAT ! I saw so many marathons, but see Sifan winning London2023, is the most emotional and beautiful finish.
It's crazy how athletes this era just beat odds day in day out. Hassan works real hard. I watched that marathon debut and just like her, couldn't believe it. She really stopped twice but still won...wow. I hope she gets that record
Hassan is an amazing finisher and being a newbie didn’t intimidate her. She’s confident and dangerous, a fearsome foe and the other competitors better be prepared as she’ll give them a run for their money! Tigist is in another league altogether. Her flawless, effortless and graceful gait says it all! I love to see her run! I can only imagine what else she has in store for us with continued training. I can’t wait for the Olympics. Sad Kiptum will not be there 😢.
Her audacity amazes me. Remember the Olympics? Going for it in the 1,500, the 5,000, and the 10,000? The crazy number of heats she had to run and at three different paces. Then last year at the World Chsmpionships - same thing. And then a few weeks later races a marathon for the first time and achieves one of the fastest times in history. How is it possible? The type of training and speedwork to be the best 1,500 meter runner in the world is sooo different than the marathon. Her willpower and mental strength ate super human.
She probably knows she's in top shape, and her speed and pace is phenomenal. So, nothing can stop her except her Mind. What fortunate decade to be witnessing running from the great runner, including her rival Faith Kipyegon and the like.
You explained the most difficult parts of these achievements in so very simple and clear way., easy to realise by an ordinary person who never step on a track ❤
Since she presented herself as supporter of Oromo Libration Front, a terrrorist organization that has been slaughtering innocent civilians in Ethiopia for the past 50 years just based on their ethnicity...karma has always been following her footsteps and disappointing her immediately the minute she celebrates!
I love this woman...... She is so tough and she absolutely exhausts herself with every performance... What heart she has !!!!!
Sifan Hassan is the goat 🐐
She stopped running twice and blew away the field in London… it was one of the most insane things that I have ever seen.
Even more remarkable was the month leading up to that race she was fasting during Ramadan 😲
@@naj114 That’s bonkers to even imagine!
We're in the golden age of distance running. Sifan Hassan, Letesenbet Gidey, Gudaf Tsegay and others have broken records in so many events.
Superhuman woman power !

@@lewistonsmith6179 I just didn't mention Kenyans (Eliud Kipchoge, Geoffrey Kamworor, etc.) or Ugandans (Kiplimo, Cheptegei, etc.). There are so many.
Thanks for this beautiful compilation and narration. Hassan is a remarkable talent.

Hassan's race in London was something very special. I'm tearing up watching this. Also very eager to watch Tokyo soon.

Very good narration indeed. And I like the background music. Classy.
Pretty cool ... Sifan Hassan .. 🤩🎉
Simply unbelievable what this lady have in store
I’m looking forward to Hassan breaking the woman’s marathon world record in Tokyo. from Tokyo
DESDE GUAYAQUIL ECUADOR SALUDO A MI ATLETA FAVORITA SIFAN HASSAN LA MEJOR DEL MUNDO
She could have broken it before Tigst, but with Tigst's world record time, I don't know... Tigst really lowered the time.
AND NOW AN OLYMPIC CHAMPION
she's awesome...
Good work
Sou fã dessa corredora. Ela é fera em qualquer distância
Tokyo will give us so many world records❤
Por fin veo a mi velocista favorita.
Donde esta Hassan, esos viseos son viejos
🐐
It's raining "new world records" recently ... thank you Nike
2:07 in the future Sifan Hassan will run someday for the marathon ❤
Not gonna see old Kelvin set another World Record.
Doubt she will attempt world record now, but i think she is capable of one in the near future
Gidey will take this guy's🤸🙏🙏🙏🙏🤸🥰🥰🥰🥰🤣🤣🤣love for gidey
Tokyo is not as fast as Berlin or Chicago. That would be the only concern
Humid hot far east is the worst place for distance runners.
Watch out for Amane Beriso. I wouldnt hand Hassan the win in Tokyo just yet.
Sifan Hassan will only help another to break the record.
How many Olympic medals will she earn in Paris?
its interesting how you cut the audio when the African Athealets were wining and brought back the audio for the white want to be runners
Whatever juice she is drinking is not available to many others.
It's called talent, world class
@@fernandofitchettjr46 GREAT reply 👍
Sure she is taking dope - her trainer, her records since in every middle/long distance running..
Very very true

Ludicrous.
Records are now meaningless, whether it be drugs or shoes.
Sifan Hassan = Oregon Project = Alberto Salazar. That's all.
Dogs barking lions keep moving👌😍
Just tech doping now. Not true records
I wish an English speaker would take over.
This would almost break the men’s record.
Men’s World Record is 2:00.35.😮
😂😂😂 yeh… no.
She isnt juicing.....
Nothing good to say?

Wasnt born in Holland.
She is Ethiopian. Netherlands can't run long distance.
So what??
Ethiopia has enough record. Let the Netherlands have this.
@brennanherring9059 No. Hassan is a citizen of the Netherlands now and holds lots of her country's national records. Good.
