Pine nut garland || Chilgoza || Most expensive dry fruit || Kinnaur

Pine nut is also known as chilgoza is most expensive dry fruit which is a organic product . Chilgoza is a rare fruit and found only in Afghanistan , Pakistan and northwest India . It is known as reet/ ree in our Kinnauri dialect . It is rich in many vitamins and minerals. Pine nut garland is given in special occasion. Festivals and marriage ceremonies.
In this video I have shared the process of making these garland known as dhreerma in our dialect.

The reet Chilgoza garland is truly a precious offering. It is the most delicious mala I could imagine. Rare and expensive it must be. I use both pine nuts and walnuts in pasta sauces roasted with spices. So delicious!
