I'm very aware of collars on my shirts, coats or jackets, or laying down on my couch. I have a 100 % silk super large scarf. I use this to line my collars or spread it across the back of my couch or armrest when I'm laying down. It's my #1 tool for the sole protection of my hair. I also have silk caps( mommosilk) that I wear under my hats.
I am glad i stumbled on this vlog. I am also recovering from a bad hair fall out crisis, For me, I think my hair was not responding well to leave in conditioners. or whatever it was. It seems to get better when I stopped using them. I guess every hair is different. My hair is thriving more with home made products. Although I did start using biotin shampoo as well to stop the fall out. I wonder if that is helping. I really do miss using my clay shampoo which was making my hair long healthy and thick before the 'leave in conditioner crisis'. Ayurvedic Oils like you said is really helping like God scent.
💙 i have seen the videos linked to your sensitive/troubled scalp series, but would it be possible to get more videos in relation to those who cannot make use of long term protective styles, and moreso weekly hair routines, as my scalp does not allow me to keep low manipulation styles in for long?

I now try to get them back to how they looked before but for some reason they have also lost their curls. Which of the four ones should I get and also how much will it grow in about 4 months if I follow your calendar?

Can anyone tell me how to find out my hair porosity. All I know is I have 4C hair with very dry scalp. I'm also suffering from dry brittle hair that breaks easily and because of this, my thickish hair is losing volume and length :(
I believe its low porosity. If you were to get in the shower and wet you hair and it takes a while to absorb it completely (like little water drops sitting on top of the hair) its low
First question: do you use shampoo?? Do you clarify your hair?? If you don’t, this may be the cause of your dry hair and dry scalp issues. Secondly: can you describe how your hair responds to water? Does it take a long time to dry? Or does it dry quickly? This will only be more accurate if you shampoo though because build up can make hair seem, “low porosity”.

You should try also getting a check-up to see if you are deficient in any vitamins. Certain deficiencies cause hair loss.
