The 6 Pump Chump with a Squat Lump

- maybe like...
I'm thinking about restructuring how I approach burpees and their place in my "fitness" goals. what are my goals? Do I even know?
so this is an errant foray into asking questions about questions and approaching things differently for the sake of stifling stagnation, supposedly.
6 pumps in lumps of 5
followed by 30 squats no stops.
I didn't plan on no stops but I did it and it was hecka uncomfortable in the last 2 rounds. but I'm a guy who gets too comfortable and needs to push harder. I have heated seats in my car! heated seats! and I use them!
anyways. harder than I thought, blah blah blah, I did 5 rounds. 150 pushes and squats.
peace.

tunes are by Admiral Angry. album is called "buster."
Good stuff! I'm with ya on rethinking the thinking about the whole thought of it. Heated seats...?.... you animal!
I'm a regular Lord Fauntleroy with my 2007 car with heated seats. I disgust myself!
I like it Paul. I like the write up. I feel that.
Thanks Derek! Looking forward to getting back to some routines after this weekends race!
Its good to share ideas as a lot of us consider similar questions, it doesn't hurt to hear it. Heated seats! I've got electric windows! But i used to purposely get cars without if possible, less to go wrong! (When it inevitably does). An ideal car for me would be the minimum needed and nothing else. Unfortunately the world went the opposite way of common sense, self fixable, replaceable, recyclable, bolt on able, and went high tech disposable unfathomable unaffordable. Goals: id definitely hone more in on what you're after. I've found a decent level of cardio/conditioning for me as a warm-up that still leaves enough energy for the main skills. But each day is different depending on the weather and my available time, but generally try and get the same stuff in each week or couple of weeks. Finding the right dose for you is the art of training!
I started delving into these topics in a video I made yesterday, doing ring work, but I couldn't manage a MU so i didn't upload. Too fatigued from the 6 pumps I think. With you on cars. I actually had to buy a code reader, sigh. I'll keep you all informed, but as you said, every day is different. Appreciate your viewpoints. Take care man.
@@PaulfromOregonarh those dashboard symbols! Manufacturers should realise some people just want to go from A to B safely, cheaply and carrying stuff.
@@PaulfromOregonyes you have to watch out for interference from other workouts especially that kind of burpee, which is why I stopped those big routines. Currently, I think upto 100 pumps is ok as a warmup that doesn't affect rings that day or the next. 150, 200 or more, my arms don't have the needed energy or even have soreness. Priorities; definitely the rings over 200 pump session.
Recently I've got back into jump rope, ten minutes of jump rope, again, fits into my rings schedule nicely, feels like some conditioning and cardio without interference. Rope flow blends in too.
salute from Paris brother Paul!!
Paris! Awesome! Drink some 1664 for me! And say hello to Éric Veran!
wow Paul very impressive 6 pompes , great my Friend
Lentement et régulièrement, mon ami!
That's a great routine Paul, I like it! I'm looking forward to hearing more of your reassessment as I went through something similar a few months back
Awesome, yeah I may share where I'm coming from or I may get introverted and go full mime. It's day to day, lol.
Numbers seem simple, the burn, the cussing says something else😂😂😂. Dope session, Bro
This right here is what I need more of. More muscle endurance and strength. Build while I can. Peace Bro. Derek!
@@PaulfromOregon Peace! Get it Bro
Great six pumps there paul great routine 💯💪
Thanks Brian! Hope you're doing good bro!
Very smooth. Everthing with perfect form👌Hey ever thought of upping it with jump squats rather than normal squats? Amazing the difference it makes...
Thanks Duncan! Yes, I do jump squats now and again, I'm certainly no stranger. I practice a lot of explosive leg movement in the martial art I study so most of that style plyo leg training I save for specific footwork exercises. Although the psycho burpee jump squat routine I did a little while ago was awesome. All my best Duncan!
Double play with PFO!! 0:22
Super brutal. It was that double up pyramid that I didn't warm up for that messed my shoulder up good.
Straight high rep killer! 10:42
Haha, appreciate it man. Maybe if I stick to it consistently I'll get there!
@@PaulfromOregon Sh#t, you there
