It’s not reasonable to avoid all situations that cause anxiety so we need to help the child to learn to cope with these situations.
The Next Steps Workshop was held on April 26, 2014 in Ottawa, Ontario for parents and caregivers who suspect their child may have autism or whose child has been diagnosed with an ASD. The workshop provides strategies for parents/caregivers to help their child and help connect parents in forming a support network.
