Thank you Simms for producing the best freaking product for angles. Not just waders, but jackets, layers, backpacks, cases, accessories, nippers. In those product I trust to stay warm and dry, cool and protected from all elements.
I never had a pair of waders last more than a couple years until about 6 years ago when some friends suggested I get a set of Simms waders. At the time, I thought the price point was too high but after ordering and receiving my first pair, I was sold. I could literally see and feel the difference in quality just taking them out of the box for the first time. After 6 long seasons wading the Texas salt water flats with my Simms, they have held up extremely well. This past season, I bought a pair of FreeSalt wading boots. Most comfortable and best wading boots out there. Keep up the great work at Simms!
I purchased my Guide Classic’s from John over at Madison River Outfitters in January 2022. That summer, they leaked, and I barely used them, as I went on one trip to three rivers, WA for a week. I sent them into Simms for repair for +60.00 I think it was. Two weeks ago, I sent the same pair in from a leak that occurred this past winter, and was given news that the waders are being marked and are in disrepair. My crew and cohort in the PNW invest thousands into the brand including myself. But flushing $500.00 down the drain for a full season’s worth of fishing doesn’t bode well with me and would like some help.
I really enjoyed that video I own a pair of G3 waders and boots they are my first pair and I couldn't be happier I was looking in to working as a wader maker I think it would be an awesome job I live in Butte as well that was awesome thank you that canyon looked very familiar as well
Great incite to the process. Keep up the good work team. As a New Zealand fly fisherman that puts Simms waders on at least a 150 times a year and fishes day long. I need good quality gear. And Simms has been providing this for me for the last 15+ years. From G3 and GZ4 they have lasted and performed beyond expectation. As the saying goes. Quality is remembered well after the price is forgotten.
This is frustrating video completely false. Simms sold out or got bought out by big corporate. Now the only focus is on quotas not quality. Unfortunately I know first hand. Had two pairs fail. Simms agreed that they were factory defects and told me they would apply an in store online credit to use towards another pair. ????? Um if its a factory defect why not just send me a new pair of the same G4. And freestones. Come to find out there so call online credit was only for $200.00 each. Dont know if you seen the ridiculous $ of their waders but $200.0 not going to cover it. I literally thought this was a joke. So to sum it up to get replacement it literally took me a year of being a pain in their ass to get a new pair of freestones. And for the G4 all they did is sent them back to me with an explanation the fabric life expectancy is past. So to be honest one went in The trash and the other pair I gave away. So if anyone is looking for recommendations on waders. I would look into drift waders.
Great stuff! 👍🤠🎣
Never stop. Never change. Thank you Simms for the top notch products!
Great clip team!
This was really well done
2 year-old G3 wader seams failed, where cuff attaches to booties after only 4 wading trips.
but bro look at this emotional PR clip bro, if you wear simms people just know youre a hardcore fisherman bro
Awesome look inside. Keep them coming. Great products American made!

Rock on Simms! I know one of the guys in the video. Very proud of him!
the price is inadequate

Grea stuff
Great announcement, if wader makers don't want to be wet while fishing, they must make the best waders...

would have been cool if you talked about how they are made a bit and showed the process
Great!
As an apparel distributor, I truly enjoy these backstories. I look forward to learning more about SIMMS.
Not cheap, but great value as they are well made and last for years.
I wish the film had explained how they are made and tested.
Sadly the woman’s waders do not hold up the same as men’s. Will not buy them again.
Best , but incredible cheap !
Love the brand; this video is a bit long and lacked story focus (imo).
