    Entertainers act sing etc...but we see them on TV & movies & in recent history on WWW media but these people who were great actors singers musicians so forth gave us such joy with their time in front of the camera. They made us laugh ...or judge plainly entertained us. An escape from stresses of life.
    Plus these who we got to love in Hollywood we felt we knew them in a sort of way. Because though they acted we could see the real person behind the acting.
    Who cannot love Lucy Desi Ethel or Fred or the Duke on & on...
    Seen the vid of Elvis on the Greyhound Bus singing It's a long lonely highway...I bet it 's not far away from where the bat cave was....on your recent vid. Wild guess.
    But Knickerbocker Hotel stories have come alive once more thanks to Pete & Billy & Trey.
    Bet Elvis had no idea either that one day 60-70 yrs later people would see where he lived for 2 months or viewed where he sat on the wall on the roof.
    What history this hotel holds. Another home run !

    Another great video series and very interesting history there, is this a hotel or apartments or both? People living there 30 and 60 years, WOW, I know the rent isn't cheap there! On another note, I saw on the receipt you filmed they had his name as 'Elvin Presley', I can imagine Elvis just shaking his head paying the bill at this mistake, it sure wouldn't be very long after that and 'no one' would ever get his name wrong ever again! ;-) Great work fellas please keep these adventures coming!

    Hotel onde o Elvis ficou quando estrelou o filme Love-me Tender.
    Grande Elvis Presley.

    At the top of the Knickerbocker invoice they have Elvis' name as Elvin Piesley and its Tom Parkers Madison address. You can tell its old because Tennessee doesn't abbreviate Tenn anymore its Tn. Also, The history that you capture isnt luck. Its you wanting it bad enough and being an awesome person. Elvis may be guiding all of the adventures. Like i said before, if Elvis was alive he'd buy you a Cadillac.

    I was excited to see part 3 come in my box Billy. No other star to date has touched me the way Elvis did. And I never even got to see him in concert or anyway. There was just something about him...his presence, his charisma, his southern charm, humbleness, etc...I wish he could have did the movie A Star Is Born, as I think it would have taken his career in a whole different direction. But things happened the way it was meant to be I guess as the Lord has our lives laid out knowing when we don't. Thanks Billy for always going in and re-enacting these moments in history for us, finding people like Pete, etc...they are so eye opening and just puts that little piece of the puzzle together bit by bit for us fans who wouldn't have been born in that time period or even people who were, but wouldn't have seen this type of thing because of locations and such. It's amazing to relive this moment in history!

    My grandfather used to always say the same thing. Believe half of what you see and nothing of what you hear.
    Watching this It occurred to me Elvis at this point in his life was middle age...man what he would go on to do with that second half.
    To this day I always wonder what he would have created. Thinking besides the music, he would have maybe had more children to even being behind the camera, being a part of Hollywood. We will never know. We lost a gem that’s for sure.
    I should really comment after watching the complete video but in my defense I always watch multiple times.
    Great job Billy and Trey.

    The quality of the historical information in your videos remains excellent!!! This is where Elvis lived when he achieved what he believed at the time to be his lifetime dream, he became a movie star. As with all desires, the reality of the achievement did not exactly live up to the ideal of the dream, but at this moment in his life, Elvis wasn't thinking about a series of poor quality scripts, but of an unlimited future with this movie being the first and least. He was stepping through the door into the future he always wanted. He was basking in the the achievement he had earned through hard work over the last few years. Elvis had never climbed higher than he had during the days he lived in this hotel and his future looked even better. I personally do not believe Elvis ever had a career decline in any given year, but I do see how Elvis, having achieved his life's dream at this point when he lived at this hotel in his early twenties with his career barely started, could find it difficult to remain motivated year after year. He had to keep dreaming bigger and bigger dreams. But at this moment in his life, I believe his success tasted the sweetest and the feelings and emotions he had experienced over the past 3 years are the ones he chased for the rest of his life.

    Elvis Forever 💕💕 Cool information and interesting tidbit regarding Axl’s location when he got welcomed to the jungle;) GNR fan since the beginning. Most girls in my class liked NKOTB, LOL!! I was a GNR, Cinderella, White Snake gal but we all liked Bon Jovi. Oh the 80/90’s, I miss them sooo! I’d go back even further before my time bc they were the best, but that’s just my opinion.

      The 80's was the Greatest Decade known to man in my opinion..

    • @aynsleighmalayne3558
      @aynsleighmalayne3558 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Spa Guy I agree! The variety of music was phenomenal, great movies. I grew up in the eighties, had older brother and cousins so I definitely enjoyed my childhood but like most was in a rush to be a little older to join in with the older kids getting to go concerts, etc. Of course the early nineties were a blast for me as well. But, the 80s were definitely special, all about happiness and good times, whether with family, something for everyone from kids to adults. Arcade games, Atari, cartoons and epic music. If I could go back in a time machine to experience Elvis and do it all over again, I would. I at least was in existence ten months while Elvis was alive, so there’s that. 😊 Loved the Dukes of Hazzard, too.

    Great video! My son and I were just at that W Hotel recently that you can see from the roof of The Knickerbocker! In the book Elvis A to Z, it says he stayed at The Knickerbocker during filming of Love Me Tender and Loving You. Also says his parents stayed with him. Then, as you mentioned, Beverly Wilshire for Jailhouse Rock..Awesome work!

    • @SpaGuy
      @SpaGuy  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don;t think A-Z is correct.. According to Gene Smith his cousin who was there they got kicked out after 2 months and stayed at the Beverly Wilshire after that.. But Gene did have some thinks incorrect in his book like the floor they were on and that kind of thing..

    • @kirkleythomas9280
      @kirkleythomas9280 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Spa Guy Yes, I’ve noticed an inaccuracy or two in that A-Z book. It has TH Barton Coliseum in San Antonio when it’s actually in Little Rock. A-Z got it wrong based on editing of Elvis on Tour where they show the Barton Coliseum marquee and then Jackie Kahane on stage saying “and now we’re here in San Antone”. Details, details...ha! Keep up the good work brother! If you make it over to Little Rock I’ll buy you dinner!
