I don't know what's worse me sticking around for the whole 5 minutes LOL or making the video so what we figured out here you might have two females you might have two males or you might have one of each but you can be a 100% certain they taste like turkey
I know someone who recently got some poults and apparently they're having tremendous feather loss. My friend mentioned that one of them looks like a rotisserie chicken under the wings. Do you have any ideas about what can cause this? My friend thinks that they're probably molting but it sounds more serious and I want to help him figure it out. Edit: They have no signs of parasites
@@WhistleThicket Nice! I have a video showing a way I figure out Male from Female. Usually the Female will have a line of feathers along the back of their neck/head. Also learned from a long time turkey farmer that Females are alot louder (like a bark/chirp sound) but most of mine are either quiet or loud not some quiet or some loud haha!
Just found your channel. We have two turkeys and we are hoping we have a male and a female… pretty sure we do. 😂 We wanted a breeding pair and went by head shape when we picked them.
@@WhistleThicket no its not that simple.. Also I raise turkeys and we get way more females for some reason. Like out of 8 eggs your lucky to get 2 males
Its been 11 months what did u end up with? I just bought 2 white turkeys and two black I'm hoping at least one of the black is a male. They will be so pretty. And one in particular is so sweet. And loving. So here I am looking up how to sex turkeys. Lol 😆

😂😂😂
Einstein raising turkeys
Dude we didnt come here for a lesson on mathematical probability. We came here to look at turkey testicles.
No renga set. That made me laugh so hard. I’m from Massachusett and I appreciate the comedy at 0:50.
Nahranggasett! How ridiculous! But funny.
male baby turkeys will start doing a display of their feathers early if there is two males in the brood, if you see them doing it that is
Thank you. Your comment was more helpful for me then this video. Now I know I have two male turkeys
Males have more of a square head and the female heads are rounder
Without all the math, you always have a 50%...when you don't know what it is.
When you hold them the males pull their legs up and the female holds her legs down.
Ohhh I think I get the picture! 😆
Then I guess my turkey is hermaphrodite because it does both....... bad info. Wives tale at best.
@@vamountainman2512 it worked for mine. Guess I was just lucky then.

If Male turkeys are raised together they tend not to fight each other! We have 4 males and 3 females and our males do not fight each other!
Good to know! We are 90 % sure we have 1 male and 1 female, still only about 6 months old.

I have 2 males but I still don't know if my other Turkey is a female.
@@WhistleThicket I have 2 turkey pouts and they exactly look like yours, and I’m curious if they are male or female
You’re really good at this math! Are you a math teacher or something like that?
You're really scaring me!!

Hope it works out! We ended up w 2 females! They still display like a make turkey does!
If your right about the .5 chance than wouldnt the odds of getting any of the combinations have the same chance?
Sort of. 25 percent chance of 2 males, 25 percent of 2 females, and 50 percent of male female
@@WhistleThicket no its not that simple.. Also I raise turkeys and we get way more females for some reason. Like out of 8 eggs your lucky to get 2 males
Good video. Hopefully the odds are ever in your favor, and you get a male / female combo.
Fingers crossed!
The whole video boils down to having a 50%, or .5% chance to get a male or female, period. 😅
4 second video goes 5min 50 sec
You lost me at math. 😂

Not helpful
You must not understand math and probability….
The probability of getting two males is 100% probably of having one male and one dinner.
Not sure u understand!
you're not realistic, just doing silly calculations
No , it’s called probability.
What a waste of time
