Our LG tv was also stuck on the same screen a few years ago, followed this guys’ steps, and boom. Fixed the tv. Very grateful but never wrote a comment saying thank you. It’s 2022 now and the same tv had the same problem. Brought this video back on to refresh my memory, and worked this time around as well. Thank you for your knowledge, man! Much appreciated!
My 14 years old LG TV gave me first all time issue just like this. I made everything and nothing worked. I saw mainboard refence, it is hard to find and would cost +150€. OK, this sounds like malarkey, but for those of you seeing this and feeling filled with doubt, I tried this yesterday. My 9+ year old 43” LG LED TV was experiencing the exact same problem: stuck on the startup screen. IT WORKED. It actually worked. We are now back to watching our TV with no problems. Now we don’t have to throw out what had otherwise been a fine working TV (and adding to the world of trash we create), and spend hundreds on a replacement. Many thanks to the maker of this video!
I found a tv with this problem by a dumpster. I follow the steps in your video, and now I have a fully functional free tv! I can’t believe this works. Thank you!
Oh my goodness! It worked. My husband came home from work and our bedroom TV was stuck on startup screen. We're so thankful for your video! My husband is a happy man! 👏
I must say that I did not believe this fix at first. Not only did thus work, it also fixed my hdmi ports that quit working a year ago. Thanks for this post and video.
My LG TV 37LE5500 pricked today, I tried to reset it, but nothing happened. I googled the problem, and I reached this video. I was 100% sure that this is a scam, but as I was not ready to spend few hundred bucks on a new TV set, I thought I shall give it a try, I followed your instructions step by step, and I was AMAZED that it really worked. I am thankful man, you were a great instructor, and you saved me some hundred bucks. Thank you again. I just want to mention that I used an LPG oven, I preheated it to 200 °C for 10 mins, and then baked the motherboard for 11 mins at the same tempreture.
IT WORKED on my old 32LD550. I had the exact same issue and start-up screen. I thought this video was a joke at first. The idea of putting the motherboard into the oven seemed crazy and I'd never heard of this hack. Brilliant! My TV was on the way to a recycling center where I had to pay $10 to dispose of it. Thank you for posting this great tutorial. TV saved!
This happened two days ago for the first time in the 10 years I've owned the 43" model. Had other issues intermittently with the buttons.. tried everything, couldn't reset it.. unplug, plug back, hold power to discharge... Said you know what imma put the mother board in the oven. 380°, as soon as it hit the temp I turned oven off and put the board in. Left it like that for 30 mins or so. Took it out, let it cool. Plugged it back in, and sure enough powered right back up to HDMI past the previously stuck logo screen. So amazed this worked. Thank you!!!
Absolutely incredible! I’ve got a LG model 55LE5400 manufactured back in 2010 that I just tried this on. 385 degrees for 10 minutes, let it cool for 10 minutes then reinstalled AND IT WORKED! Thank you for the information and saving my old tv!
I just did this and it totally worked. I couldn't believe it and still don't, lol. My friends think I'm trolling them. THANKS SO MUCH, saved me from buying a new one.
It really works on mine LG 42LE5500 TV. Tried it yesterday thinking that I going to dispose the faulty TV anyway, so no harm trying. Unbelievably, it works and bring back my 8 years old TV to life. I covered the main board with aluminium foil before placing it into the oven afraid that it will further damaged my oven. Set the temperature to 200 degreeC and 10mins. Left it cool and screw back. Surprise everything works as per normal. Thanks!
Just tried it and...it worked! My wife thought you/I was crazy. Great step by step video. I normally don't mess with electronics but your video inspired me. What's the worse that could've happened, the TV could've not worked even more? Lol.
My daughter and I said why not try it. Wow, what results.Did exactly as directed and tv works perfectly. We had one problem that the picture was on one side and lines on other(vertically) so we redid the connection on topic board to make sure they were real secure. We had a feeling that could be our problem. So that could be a problem for someone else. Thanks to the one that posted this video, you sure made my day. Hope this tv works for many years to come.😁😁😁
Our 55” Toshiba smart tv had the same problem. It was purchased in 2013 so everyone was telling us it was too old to worry about! I wasn’t prepared to give up without a fight so we followed your instructions and it worked! Our tv is up and running! Netflix and chill for New Years Eve! THANK YOU so much for posting your fix....I am simply amazed! Your new fan in Rural Saskatchewan, Canada.
This saved me. I didn’t found a replacement for the motherboard here in Chile. I was about to throw it away, when I found your video. I baked it and got working again, unbelievable! Thanks dude!
I found a LG 42LE5400 out for curb side clean up. I took it home baked the board just like you said and its back up and working. This unit was not even getting even to the logo screen. Just black screen, but now it boots all the way up and functions like new!!! Thank You
Holy... At first I thought this was some kind of internet troll but I then tested this out for myself and guess what.. Now I got a working TV again! Thanks dude you just saved me 600bux, I appreciate it!
Dear all, I had the same problem with LG TV 47LE5500, and what to do 10 days before Christmass Eve. To buy a new TV or to order a repairman. How much the repair will be cost? Many questions and nobody to fix it before Christmass Eve. I watched video, looked no such sofistic, so I get started to fix my TV. I followed video step by step, got mother board to the oven on 200C for 10 minutes. After coolling down I have mounted a mother board into back panel of TV, inserted all connectors (5) and with a hidden breath I turned on TV and my TV again is working! Trust yourself, be brave I´m not electric engineer nor experienced technician and I fixed my TV alone with sharing this usefull video. Thanks a lot TipsNNTricks ! I saved my money and I´m proud on myself and my wife too :) Keep Cross thingers to all of you whose dont affraid to fix broken TV by yourself!
Fantastic, I love it. I just bought a second hand LG 42" 42LE5510 and had it a month and it started doing the LG logo thing and I thought CR#P I just wasted AUD$200. I found your video and put the motherboard in our fan forced oven at a smidge under 200°C for 10mins on cardboard, let it cool for 10 mins in the oven with the door open and then cooled another 10mins on the bench, installed it back in the TV and it's now working. You're my hero!
I'm trying this now... Wish me luck! I will edit this comment later. Edit: So I took it out of the oven and the motherboard looked warped a bit. I installed it anyway, and it works! Thank you so much for this tutorial! I got this TV for free, and now I have a 42-in LG TV!
I just tried it the first time with my LG 42LD550. First attempt it was a half success. Half of the screen came up on the home screen and went to input screen but the other half were colored lines and then went black. Baked a second time at 5 degrees higher and turned the board opposite way in the oven from the way it was in before (same side up). Let it cool longer this time in the oven with the door partially open. I had just tested it again before I put the back on and It WORKED... SO IF ANYONE THINKS IT DIDN'T WORK BECAUSE THEY HAD HALF A SCREEN... BAKE IT AGAIN UPPING THE TEMP BY 5 DEGREES AND ONLY PROP THE OVEN DOOR OPEN AFTER YOU SHUT OFF THE OVEN. LET IT COOL DOWN 20 MINS, THEN TAKE IT OUT LETTING IT COOL AN ADDITIONAL 5 MINUTES! I'm so grateful for this video. I was going to purchase another tv because adding $100 to the cost of the motherboard would get me another tv.
Hey, don't normally make TH-cam comments. Thanks for the video, I have had my lg 42 inch for 8 years and it started this logo thing today. Followed you're awesome instructions and it worked perfectly. Saved me a tonne of money no doubt. Thanks again
I had low expectations this was going to work. I gave it a try, followed the instructions and I was pleasantly surprised it actually worked. I didn't even have to change the language, it restarted in English. Thanks so much. my model was 47LE5400-UC. Don't even remember when I got it, so its pretty old, but until today, it had never failed. This fix was fantastic !
As others have said, I tried this (skeptically), and it worked. I own an LG 47LE5400 that I purchased in November 2010. When it froze on the boot up screen, I figured it was time to purchase a new TV. However, I wanted to give this a shot after watching your video. Followed your instructions exactly as you prescribed. Voila!! Very thankful for your help.
Update: I baked mine for a second time with the same specifications-385 for 10 minutes. I let it cool down for about 40 minutes-just paranoid-and it worked! Seriously bless your heart for posting this video and saving so many of us so much money it's incredible thank you !!!! Ps are used a baking sheet but turned it upside down so nothing would be in the tray of what I would use it for again…
I am really not sure if you will see this Post, but I wanted to take the time to Thank You for your time and effort doing this Video. Two days ago my LG 55LE5500 got stuck on the start up page. Called LG and they were little to NO HELP. Called a couple of tv repair places and for them to come out would cost roughly $200 so with that being said I followed your video to the letter and guess what ? It Worked !!!!!!!!!!! I really love this tv , I was prepared to go to Best Buy and get a new one today if it didn't work . Thanks again Brian from Riverside California
Dude!!! Genius!!!! I was so skeptical and afraid I was going to mess it up if I did that! IT WORKED! My TV is working and I’m super excited because I bought it at a thrift store for $69 and the dang thing is better than my $1500 TV! Thanks for all the help!!!!!!
I must be honest..... I listen the video, and all time I was thinking this was a total fake. I have an LG 55 8500 European model. One year ago it suddenly stops on LG initial screen. I dig in everything and the only option that could solve the problem: purchase a new mainboard. But fortunately I found this incredible solution, and nothing more to lose (totally skeptical), I go thorough every steps. Now my LG is working perfect !!!! Umbelivable but thru. Maybe for some others fault this solution did not work. Thank you very much.
You are a lifesaver!!! Thank you so much. I was initially hesitant to take this on (even with the moral support of my mother). The few men I told about this told me that they'd much rather buy a new TV. Clearly, they seemed a little intimidated at the thought of taking the whole thing apart. Managed to get the TV back up and running within about 2 hours.. To any women (or anyone else) who might be intimidated to do this on their own: THIS IS THE EASIEST STEP-BY-STEP VIDEO ON THE WEB TO FIX YOUR MOTHERBOARD. Thank you so much TipsNNTricks. Totally saved my 9 year old TV and my quarantine.
Hey man, thank you for this 👍🏻 our 14 years old LG TV did the same and i gave it a try and cooked the motherboard on 200 celsius for 10 minutes and it worked well 😊 only i pluged one cable wrong so half of the screen was white for a moment but i fixed that 😀 thank you you saved me 500$ for new tv 😀👍🏻
Oh, thank you so much. I just performed the "rescue-baking" on the mainboard of a 47LE5500, which was stuck on start up. Everything went OK and now I have a fully functional TV again. Wouldn't have done it without your detailed description. THANK YOU!!!!. God bless you. Keep up the good work. I would also like to mention that my mainboard had a plastic SCART socket also, which didn't melt through the baking process(did it for 12 minutes in 198 Celsius)
Thanks for posting this how to. My brother-in-law arrived with the same fault/same chassis. We used a cheap rework blower set to 320 deg C and heated the chip with the heatsink attached for about 10 min and let cool which restored its operation.
Unbelievable! IT WORKS!! My 55LE5500 wouldn't get past the startup screen yesterday but it works fine now! The kitchen had a hot electronics smell for a few hours but was OK this morning. I had my doubts but figured I had nothing to lose by trying it. When the startup went away and the logo screensaver appeared, it was fantastic! I actually yelled out loud!
I can't believe there are 91 thumbs down on this guy. We tried this for amusement purposes only as our tv did not work and was off to the trash. We followed the instructions from this genius and it worked! Thanks for a great instructional video. It was easy and fun. The world needs more people like this! Thanks for saving our tv!!!!!!
Well man. Its working! Thank you. I hope it work for many more time. BUT i didn't used a oven, i used a heat gun very slowly and a razonable heat, but hot. First time it doesn't work. I did it again and now it tun on! Just amazing! Thank you again from Argentina!
Really great tips. I just try it last night on my 10 years old LG 42 ld550 and this brings it back to life. It save me time and money. It Really works. Thanks
Thank you for this! I was skeptical about this as well and at first thought it was a practical joke, but the comments convinced me. I tried it following the instructions exactly in an electric oven and it worked on my 42LD650. I guess it has to do with heating up the solders so the components stick to the motherboard better? Someone mentioned it's similar to the ovens they use on motherboards in factories. Probably will clean my oven just in case there are toxins in there. (6/26/2020)
I have the 42" version of the TV shown in this video and it was also stuck on the logo screen. I did the process described in the video and it worked! Thank you so much for sharing this video.
It worked on my LG 32" 3D TV. Thanks a lot. I don't have an oven so I used my 3 in 1 LG microwave. Did convection for 10 mins at 200 deg celsius. Worked like a magic. Many thanks again for your effort to make and post this video. Saurabh from India.
Just had this problem. Found your video and did what you did. And 1 hour later everything is working again! Thanks sooooo much! I use this old tv for all my older game systems and was bummed that it broke. So thanks for your fix!
2020 here! Tried it on a 9-year old 42LE7300 today with exactly the same symptoms. 10 min at 200 °C and the menu works again! Thanks. Hope it will prolong the life of the TV a bit.
OMG. This worked!! My hubby is amazed and can’t work out how it worked. I don’t care how or why. I just care it saved us buying a new expensive TV we can’t afford. Thanks so much xxxxx
I can't believed it worked. Was ready to buy a new tv. I noticed this is an old tv and was skeptical if it work work on a 2014 lg 65ub9200 it worked great. I have a feeling the flux in the solder joints cause it to insulate the electrical connections and the cooking process burns the flux off, creating a clean contact again. Again thank-you so much for the video saved me a wack of $$$$$
Hi, Just amazing !!! I have just repaired today (12/04/2020) my 10 years old LG TV 47LE8500 using your method (baking the main PCB) . I noticed that the PCB was slightly bended after the bake, which sometimes happen but it did not affect operation. Thanks so much
It works!! At first it didn’t but turns out I didn’t reconnect the ribbon cables properly. But I took it back apart and reconnected them and it worked! Genius!
Thanks a lot for this great Video!! very clear!!! I tried with the LG 32LD550 of my son. The first time succeed 50%, because half of the screen presentes only lines and dots. Then I put it again in the oven adding 5°C and the same as Charley F. (thanks also for your comments) rotating 180° the board, but with the same side up as the first time. Then mantain the temperature for 10 minutes, turn off the oven and open partially the door 5 minutes. Finally, 2 minutes door completely open, take it out and cool it along 10 minutes at ambient temperature. Great surprise, TV set is now operating normally!!! and it was funny to look my wife´s face when I told her the good news, honestly we were very suspicious about this technique. Actually this old TV has no spares in my country, Chile, so this video helped me to save purchasing a new one...
I forgot to comment that the TV had several failures, did not recognized the HDMI, then failed the image and also the sound, these last two, were like a slow motion but worse.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I have never posted a comment on a video, but I wanted to be another guinea pig reassuring the next person that doesn't want to buy a new tv, that this unexpectedly worked!
HOLY MOTHERBOARD OF TH-cam! IT WORKED! Tell me why I found this TV in a storage unit I purchased, tested it at 1am to see if it worked, youtubed how to fix it since I ran into this problem, 1 baked motherboard and an hour later it freaking worked! Thank you so much!
WOW! OK I was skeptical, but in some way it did make sense, and of course what did I have to lose! My LG had no picture, no sound. I followed the detailed instructions, except that I baked it outside in a toaster over, thus avoiding any smells in the house. It worked perfectly! Just put it back together a few minutes ago, fired it up and bingo! Perfection! Thank you! Saved me buying a new TV and kept this one out of the landfill! :-)
I just bought one from a pawn shop for 10 dollars loved the TV the person that sold it to me said it didn't worked but for me is working just fine awesome tv 😎
Works!! Tried exactly as said, on a LG 55' TV. I did it a Electrical Stove/Oven, instead of the Gas Oven as shown in the video. I used a metal pan, instead of a cardboard. Thank you.
I was actually amazed that this worked.. I was debating just going and buying a new tv since ive had mine for about 8 years now.. But this totally blew me away and it worked! thank you !
just did this on a different model lg 42LE5510 that was doing weird thing sometimes not turning on at all… little different internals but not much and worked like a charm! Thanks Man!!
I never heard of something so crazy as this, but I tried and it worked. I couldn't believe it. Gives new meaning to I COOKED MY MOTHERBOARD, lol. Thank you so much for this tip. Wonder if this would work for a Sony TV that is stuck in a bnoot loop?
Thank you for this great tip....Did the job yesterday & couldn't believe how easy it was,,,,took about 30 min to disassemble.(rather weary) ....did my baking for 10 min (200 deg C).... Reassembled in 10 min ...tested ...job done!!.....Thanks Again Ian Thomson (South Africa..Cape Town)
Did it it works .. my LG 42LE5400 stuck on splash screen .. removed it baked it for 10-12 minutes.. let it cool .. put it back in and voila ! It’s working like new!!
Many thanks!!! This is absolutely AWESOME. It just worked for me. I was totally sceptical about it... and my wife even laughed at me... But it worked! I don't know for how long it will last, but it is fantastic!
Nice video and explanation of the process. I only recommend that this is not done in a kitchen oven as the solder in the braze does contain toxic materials that can deposit on the internals of the oven as it's being heated.
Hey Man, I did it. Now the tv is working! But first it didn't but it was only because te flat cable weren't well reconnected. But now is working apparently. Thank you!!
my wife was bitching at about the smell of the solder in the oven until i turned it on and it worked!! Whos the beotch neow!! Thanks dude!!! i had a slightly different lg tv but it still worked the same
Just fixed two LG TV's and old Toshiba flat-screen ( lost the Video in/out due the plastic meltown, but who cares...HDMI still functional) after seeing this video! 200 degree Celsius and exactly 10 minutes, working as a charm!
Is this problem happened due to long time of tv unused. or due to cold. Can keeping motherboard on day light for a whole sunny day about 30 degree Celsus works.
Thank you! My wife and I followed your awesome instructions step by step and it worked. We have an older TV, circa 2009....and it was revived today! Mind blown!! We feel like we are basically engineers now lol. Jk. What causes this on a 10 year old TV though, and why is this a fix? Just curious. Thank you again.
Electronics manufacturers many years ago went to a cold soldering practice and in time the connections on the board are lost. We used to fix all the solder points with a soldering gun back in the day but for DIY, this is much more practical.
Thanks it worked. I was skeptical as usual. From everything I read the motherboard doesn’t last very long again after baking. Oh well I was gonna throw the TV out anyways but he it works! It’s on its fourth motherboard now and second power board. When I put mine in the oven I had a big wad of hot glue that melted off onto the pan so I did have some thing that melted. The biggest issue was lining up the ribbons properly. I tried for a half an hour and could only get one side of the TV to work and almost threw it away again. I left it alone and walked up to it the next day and tried for about 15 minutes and finally got it working. I had to tape the ribbons to the back of the TV like they were to begin with and then open up both sides of the clips that hold the ribbons in place and then shut them both at the same time. It went from no picture on the right side to a lighter picture on the right side. After a half a dozen times or more I’m just opening up the clips and shutting them both sides lit up the exact same brightness. I put a ton of tape around the ribbons so they won’t move and put the TV back together. I threw away the stand a couple weeks prior and replace the TV so I don’t have a stand for it anymore. I grab some plywood and a 4 x 4 post and made a makeshift TV stand and put it upstairs for a spare TV. We’ll see how long it lasts this time. All I can say is don’t ever buy an LG again! My picture was so awesome that I know four people that bought LG’s in the same updated model as mine in the 55 inch. I believe it’s the 55LE5400...or LN. They all went out before mine did…before the 3rd time. All of theirs went in the trash. I spent $450 for a new motherboard and ribbon nine months ago. The motherboard went out again which was the fourth one. I should’ve threw the TV in the trash. But at the time and equivalent model was about $100 more. Lesson learned I guess I bought a Samsung to replace it and have not had issues yet. I also have a flat screen Colby and Sony that have to be close to 15 years old and I’ve never had issues. I also get ran more than the big screen LG did. LG TVs are just not made to last. Pretty evident when you can find thousands of repair videos on TH-cam about them with the motherboards going out. My TV has to be 12/14 years old now. Still has a better picture than most TV under $2200.
Just completed this fix on our 2011 LG 43LE5350. Worked perfectly and took about an hour. THANK YOU for these great instructions. Don't fall for the "repair" on Ebay for $50 or more. Bake it yourself.
Really can't believe this, at first I think this was something not possible because how it's possible that taking a motherboard of a TV, but yes I'm so amazed.. Thanks very much
Our LG tv was also stuck on the same screen a few years ago, followed this guys’ steps, and boom. Fixed the tv. Very grateful but never wrote a comment saying thank you.
Thanks again Brian from Riverside California
hello brian . is it still working?
Dude!!!
I guess you could say that life’s good once again…
Dude!!!! It totally worked, I was totally sceptical, I can't believe it, considering it was free tv and free fix. Thanks again!
Another incredulous, yet satisfied customer. This worked for a 'stuck' Seiki 38" 4K monitor. Thanks for saving me $$$.
Wow! Just saved my 9-year-old LG 55LE5400 which was showing the exact same symptom. Thanks for posting such a detailed guide!!
Really does work just did it today, watching Louisville versus Jacksonville state MARCH MADNESS!!!
This is great. I fixed my TV and cooked some Pillsberry cinnamon rolls at the same time
You just saved our thanksgiving with this thank you for saving me 300 dollars on a new tv!
Just had this problem. Found your video and did what you did. And 1 hour later everything is working again! Thanks sooooo much! I use this old tv for all my older game systems and was bummed that it broke. So thanks for your fix!
HOLY CRAP!!! it just worked for me too! I can't believe it and I'm very thankful. 1 hr of my time and boom my 46 inch LG is back in business!
2020 here! Tried it on a 9-year old 42LE7300 today with exactly the same symptoms. 10 min at 200 °C and the menu works again! Thanks. Hope it will prolong the life of the TV a bit.
It's 2020 and I saved my 12 years old LG following your steps!!!!! OMG this is so amazing for the quarantine 🥳 Thanks a lot
OMG. This worked!! My hubby is amazed and can’t work out how it worked. I don’t care how or why. I just care it saved us buying a new expensive TV we can’t afford. Thanks so much xxxxx
This worked and saved my clock-screen stuck dead TV. Reflowing solder with an oven. My wife still can’t believe how smug I am that this worked!
Again thank-you so much for the video saved me a wack of $$$$$
Bro!!! Really didn't think this was going to work, but, I tried it, and sur enough. Your the man! Thanks again.
Top info, tv working again. I had to cook it for a second time, and that did the trick. Thanks, you saved me.
Some guy scammed me selling this TV to me and disappearing!! I'm glad I did this and it worked!!!! Learned my lesson and learned something new.
Congratulations for your tips ! ,
I just baked the pcb board of this 42le8500, and so now it works again!
Thank you very much! 👍
Used this technique on my 42" LG TV and Desktop Computer motherboard. Both are working again. Thanks!
But this totally blew me away and it worked! thank you !
Good day dir.. do you have an idea my lg cj88 component hang.up or stuck up cant power off and need to unplug to power off.. thanks
just did this on a different model lg 42LE5510 that was doing weird thing sometimes not turning on at all… little different internals but not much and worked like a charm! Thanks Man!!
Men thank you. Me and my dad fixed our TV with this video thank's man.
Holy shit, it's working! My husband was skeptical but it took determination and a bit of time, now my TV works again. Thanks!
P.S: I love TH-cam.. 😻
We followed this video step-by-step and it does work. Thank you very much. 😊 👍
Mine has some spots where it looks like pink glue, or some kind of adhesive. Will that also melt in the oven?
This fixed my 47LW6500 screen as well as LAN connectivity issue that wasn't working for a year. cheers
Not going to lie, I thought this was crazy but it actually worked! Thank you so much!
Im shocked
It worked.it actually worked.
10mins in the oven at 200°C left too cool and refitted.
Worked perfectly thankyou mate you star
Did it it works .. my LG 42LE5400 stuck on splash screen .. removed it baked it for 10-12 minutes.. let it cool .. put it back in and voila ! It’s working like new!!
Just tried this after seen the video, and worked perfectly. Thanks
Thank you!!
I found a LG tv on the side of a dumpster and this made it work so THANK YOU!! I have a new tv WOW!! 😅
my wife was bitching at about the smell of the solder in the oven until i turned it on and it worked!! Whos the beotch neow!! Thanks dude!!! i had a slightly different lg tv but it still worked the same
That’s disgusting
Worked a treat on my son's 8 year old TV , thanks you are a star
Thank you , works perfectly. Just baked mine this morning. Port Elizabeth South Africa.
Just fixed two LG TV's and old Toshiba flat-screen ( lost the Video in/out due the plastic meltown, but who cares...HDMI still functional) after seeing this video! 200 degree Celsius and exactly 10 minutes, working as a charm!
It worked for me, I did exactly what you said and my LG TV is up and running. Thank you very much, do you happen to know if this can work on a laptop?
Is this problem happened due to long time of tv unused. or due to cold. Can keeping motherboard on day light for a whole sunny day about 30 degree Celsus works.
I just did the same thing to my 2010 42LD550-UB. Absolutely fixed the TV. Awesome!
Thank you so much. Just finished baking the board and reassembling the lg LED TV and it works perfect !!
It worked! I can't believe it did, but it was really easy, no issues and the TV fired right up!!
Great video, I was scare at first but the alternative is to buy a new motherboard. TV is working again at least for now. Thanks man
Thanks it worked. Still has a better picture than most TV under $2200.
just tried this, and it worked for me. thank you for the post
Thanks very much
Wow!!!!!! I have this exact same tv you did the video on! Didnt think it would work but you proved me wrong!!!!!! Thanks alot!!!!!!
