Fun fact: The doggos in this movie all have CGI tails. Because they were having so much fun playing their real tails were just a-waggin' with joy, so they (the tails) had to be replaced digitally.
Lol...those dogs are the real deal so I believe too that they enjoyed the work and tge physicality of their jobs so much that those tails were wagging with too much joy! 😝
We should give a hand to the extras for selling "playtime with fun doggos" as "oh god, please help, they are going for the neck". There were a lot of people who had to really act for the dog shots.
I kinda feel like if they left the wagging in it might have made the dogs more terrifying. Like “Oh god these dogs are enjoying tearing people’s throats out.” Though I can understand why they had to edit it out, and I’m glad the dogs had fun.”
I really like how during the "trying to get out of the desert fortress" scene, both Sofia and John Wick have two very distinct fighting styles. John Wick is straight forward, shoots quickly, hardly hides behind anything (other than other people's bodies), Sofia on the other hand is calmer, hides behind walls and waits for a moment to shoot. She also calls her dogs after she knows they won't get harmed which is a win
My favourite part of that is that they made it realistic, she's not quite as physically strong as John, so there's more finesse and less brute force. It's just such a violent ballet, its beautiful
While appreciate the commentary, a point to make. While it WOULD be nice to see John Wick in his "prime" physically, remember EXPERIENCE is what John is about. The SKILL of his reloading faster than two other assailants is a fine example of it. He KNOWS what needs to be done and when. Like the shotgun shots to the legs instead of raising the shotgun for the head shot. Its FASTER to shoot the lower target, so he does so. He is SKILLED and that is what makes him "better".
@@HABO2210 So do I, but I don't think it would do justice to get a younger actor or even put Keanu himself to play it in a live-action movie. Perhaps an animated movie? Personally I would love to know what that "impossible task" was all about. "The bodies he buried that day lay the foundation of what we stand on today" - Viggo. Seriously, what did Wick do? Kill a few maffia families in New York? I need to know more about this and less about his "prime". John Wick's prime is in our fantasies now and no movie, live-action or animated, could ever top our imaginations.
The “maybe just his legs” is because of the neck injury he suffered during the matrix that damaged his spine and gave him partial paralysis in his legs, so it would make sense if he kicked a bit slower.
@@hAze_the_shrimp Yes, it's crazy to think. Keanu had neck or spinal surgery before filming (can't remember which it was) so his legs were fucked. I believe Hugo Weaving also had to have leg or arm surgery (can't remember) during filming but was ok. And even Carri Moss damn near broke her ankle during filming. Dedicated actors lol
When you realize they used brighter green light to distort the possible use of night vision they’d use making them have to discard it and leaving their faces more exposed for shooting. It’s the lightest touches like that, that make these movies epic
Was just checking to see if anyone made that comment. The flashing nature if the light as opposed to just steady bright lights also ensures that in addition to not being able to use NODs the attackers can't get a clear view of the building so people who know it well retain a greater home field advantage
I can expalin why in universe, the fighting gets more and more creative and ridiculous as the movies go on. Now obviously this is sequel escalation, with every new sequel needing bigger and more creative stunts. But in-universe, John has been out of retirement for like two weeks or something now (I think, we never get a clear timeframe for the events). It makes sense that when he first came back, he went for the quickest and easiest kills possible, but as he got back into his groove, he started to use his old and more creative fighting style more freely (using horses and books as weapons for example). It's all about getting back into the game with him.
It's like a protagonist in a game sequel. They can't justify unlocking skills through learning since they already did that the first time around so it usually is explained through recalling them in some way. The whole John Wick series is just a sequel for a story we can only guess at through his legend and old contacts.
And also in each movie he's fighting stronger opponents they're sending more more guys after him each one's tougher than the last so he couldn't use Simple methods for every kill
In addition, his opponents get progressively better and more complex and skilled themselves. First movie he's going after a local mafioso gang. The next, he's taking on specific assassins from an employer and his target's old bodyguard. In this, the entirety of the underground assassin world is going after him. So of course the same blunt force approach he uses in the first movie loses effectiveness and he has to get more creative and ridiculous.
Also the whole "this shit is literally all happening back to back". John's probably tired, battered and bruised, and wasted from the amount of wounds he's already accumulated
I can imagine that John's personal war against the Table is leaving enormous power vacuums across the assassin world. It's possible that the climax of the fourth film - John's ending, so to speak - will be the unseating of the current power and the establishing of a new one that lets John live his life because they saw what happened to the last set of shmucks who tried to fuck with him.
dmdz I know the crime lords have their reputation and can’t make exceptions but considering everyone they send after him ends up dead I highly doubt their subordinates would think less of them for making an exception
something i loved finding out during the movie was that when John used his belt as a weapon against Zero's men, it revealed why the people at the theater earlier in the movie told him to take off his belt because they knew he could use it as a weapon
@@shqiptariidukagjinit5650 Fight with a belt? Not hard. Leather resists knife strikes pretty well, plus a rigid elasticity makes for good striking power.
The best part is that when he was asked to surrender his belt earlier in the movie, he looked confused, it might have been what made him remember he could use the belt as a weapon in the first place.
Fun Fact: Listening to the cylinder is actually a very important step in the completion of assembly or reassembly from a field strip of a revolver. It allows you to be sure that the cylinder is properly seated and aligned, and that the pusher finger is the right size and length for the cylinder used. When you pull the hammer back (or pull the trigger on a double action revolver *) a finger pushes on a ratchet mechanism on the cylinder that rotates it just enough to line up the next bullet with the barrel. If you can't hear that ratchet, or the sound isn't lining up with how far you spin it, or any other number of issues, the gun can either not fire, or fail catastrophically. Getting the cylinder and barrel perfectly aligned is the most important part of a revolver and if it's wrong, you either have a paper weight, or a pipe bomb in your hand. It's one of few Hollywood gun tropes that actually makes sense. Never under any circumstances spin the cylinder and slam it shut though. That is pure Hollywood and can throw off that important alignment and ruin your gun. I'm a firearms instructor so I see messed up revolvers all the time from stupid people copying movies! Lol * Double Action, and Single Action revolvers and firearms are pretty much exactly what they sound like. It describes the trigger mechanism. In a single action "cowboy style" revolver, the hammer must be pulled back (or fanned like a real man) and the trigger pull releases the hammer to fall and strike the primer firing the bullet. Simple. One action per pull, single action. Double Action means you can pull the trigger and it will first push the hammer back, and release it at the end of the stroke. Typically this requires a much longer pull, and a much heavier pull since your pulling against the hammer mechanism as well. This allows you to quickly get a shot off on a draw without cocking the gun, but is much less accurate because the force required to pull that heavy trigger a long distance tends to flex the hand and wrist pulling the gun a bit to the side and down. There are pros and cons to both types, but most DA guns can be cocked and used as a SA as well just fine. Because when you cock the hammer first, the trigger pull is very short, crisp and light and allows for very accurate shooting. Just a little revolver knowledge for anyone interested. Any questions, feel free to ask. Teaching about guns is literally my job lol
@@w-r-s-a_9831 Sure. Like I said in my crazy long comment, the main issue is doing the Hollywood style 'spin and slam' where you open flick the revolver open, spin the cylinder with your hand really fast and then slam it shut by twisting the gun. You always see it as a way to put on random bullet in the gun, or just checking the ammo, or whatever... This is really bad for the gun, because you can bend the arm that holds the cylinder by slamming it open and closed, you can weaken or break the pins or screws holding the arm or cylinder on the gun.. but mostly it just throws the finely tuned cylinder out of whack and can cause it to 'creep' out of alignment until something awful happens. Best case, the gun won't fire and you'll have an expensive paperweight and worse case it can explode in your hand and seriously maim or kill you. Revolvers (like all guns) are precision made weapons and need to be treated with respect. When people don't respect firearms, you get serious problems and major consequences. Hope that helped clarify. Doing that cylinder spin is a common trope in movies that causes a lot of damage to guns each year lol my gunsmith sees tons of revolvers that come in for being out of alignment or something. People need to stop trying to copy everything they see in movies!
I think the listening part was purely for it being a reference. If they were going for realism, they wouldn't have him able to take apart and reassemble a revolver with nothing but his hands.
Keanu is just such a humble guy IRL. Like, he seriously just loves his craft and has fun in it like a big kid. It doesn't even matter if it's successful, he's just happy to make some people smile and have fun. Love that about him.
Watching the John wick films is like watching a guy who’s mastered a game fully playing through a campaign on max difficulty without dying and killing everyone each level. It’s that sort of mastery you just sit in awe when you see it it’s awesome
I know this is an old comment, but I was literally just watching a TH-cam video of someone dominating an enemy encounter in The Last of Us the other day and thinking That looked Like a John Wick fight!
@@hansenhorst3117 You got me thinking. As far as films go, no non-native Russian speaker can go undercover in Russia, not ONE of them. They show it so often, American and English spies in Russia trying to speak Russian with natives, you can't even imagine how ridiculous they sound! With their pronunciation they are barely understandable, if at all. They wouldn't last one minute undercover. I wonder if really nobody can pull off German the same way. I wonder how you hear it. It's really curious.
Кейт Арчер I think russian could be more difficult because it seems like a highly melodic language, with practice alone it’s impossible. In german there a so many dialects, too many to be honest. If you are not 100% authentic in the pronunciation and vocabulary that comes with each dialect, you are lost. The hard consonants like „p“ „k“ and „t“, and the „ch“ are the most difficult parts I would say, still dependent on the region and actual dialect.
@@hansenhorst3117 that clears up a lot, thanx ) Also, in our very best spy film a Russian spy says to a German: 'you northerners keep your vowels to yourselves' (free translation German to Russian to English, sorry, hope it's understandable). Is that true?
@@katearcher8514 Its very similar I imagine, while I believe its easier to lead a very basic conversation in german than it is in russian, as in hold it without seeming out of place. As soon as any slightly complicated pronounciations come up. Youre toast. Every accent has very tiny almost insignificant seeming differences in the pronounciation of even a single letter in a word that any letter sounding different would instantly alarm people who have to be careful. The only spies that really work in countries like germany or russia, are people whos mother tongue is that language, or people who have spent a decade, studying and practicing the language.
@@rileyneopolitan3625 aye, swat mode in halo is a mode with no shields and only precision weapons where you have to aim for the head for an insta kill, a pretty fitting description for john's shooting as an extra note, in slayer, a common tactic is to shoot the shit out of someone and then melee them when they're weak which john does in the armour fight
I mean, he's only "cold" to the dog when there are enemies near. They don't have much alone-time, so he doesn't have a good chance to just relax and play. Yet.
Since these kills ARE getting more and more creative, for John Wick 4, John Wick really needs to puncture through someone's lungs with pencils, and as the victim is gasping for air and dying, his victim says two last words. "You're breathtaking"
The subtext of these movies is incredible. Every single one of them is a masterclass in how not to throw everything in the viewer's face. I've watched all three half a dozen times or more and I'm still finding things I didn't see before and I watch your takes on them and I'm finding even MORE I hadn't noticed. It just never ends.
The whole horse-chase actually uses a CGI road. The AHS demanded that the horses have to run on rubber, so they laid out a long rubber carpet and replaced it with the original road (and adjusted the tires/feet/hooves) in post.
So many wins that you passed over, including John not killing two of the henchman, the two that held out their hands for him to get and continue fighting on a more level platform. Also, the change in the music in the revolver scene.
One of the great moments I noticed after rewatching this movie recently: After Zero says that him and John are the same, John tells his dog "Sit, stay, good boy", after which Zero does as well. This signifies that Zero is nothing but a dog to the assassin organization while John is way out of his reach.
That scene with Zero sitting next to John on the couch, and John moving is done so well, and is a nice bit of comedy. I love the look Zero gives after John gets up, as if to say “Damn, I wanted to sit next to you.”
17:38 what I said to my friend about John not being the best fighter is this. Zero is as skilled or more skilled then John, but Zero is not a man of focus commitment and sheer will
Halle doesn't play minor characters; even when the 2nd banana in "Swordfish!" I can imagine her coming back in Part IV! Constantine was mentioned , i loved Constantine, one of the most unrated movie i've ever seen. Dudes literally if you like keanu reeves you should watch Constantine.
My favorite memory from that movie was watching it with my brother who'd already seen it, and (SPOILERS!!!) as he was building the holy shotgun, when his back was turned before it was revealed, I said, joking/sarcastically "he's building a holy shotgun." My brother was like, "Wtf, have you seen this before???" and he turned around to reveal a holy shotgun
@@georgeofhamilton i agree. withever pathway they chose there are at least 2 movies: 1. (Civil war and Last man standing)wich would be more of the same, john hunting or being hunted, 2. (Lone Wolf vs the high Table) wich would be several movies where we get John wick as an assasin basicly storming the castle, 3. (hide and seek where he disapears and finds new allies, killers that havnt joined the Table yet/ revenge best served cold, where he trains someone else to replace him, a real Baba yaga.)
The entire John Wick franchise is a matter of "realism" vs "authenticity". John Wick is an "authentic" movie. We see all the fights, we can count the shots with Wick, and Keanu went through months of training to make it look real. But you look at a bulletproof suit, the Emissaries are a immune to headshots, and he got pushed off a roof by a pistol. Always felt like more people should be aware of the difference.
I'd say the suits are a combination of Titanium and Graphine weave. A decent combination of these 2 materials would probably make for a highly bullet resistant suit that still allows for mostly unhindered movement. Graphine is being researched for high-quality electronics and new, modern bullet-resistant vests. Titanium of a sufficient thickness can be shot with a .50 cal rifle, and barely have a scratch. Both are incredibly light but expensive, so it makes sense that the Table's elite anti-assassin assassin squad would have suits made with these kinds of materials. A glaring flaw, is they both conduct electricity well, so a good zap would probably have minimal resistance (unless they had decent insulating under-clothing). Wick on the other hand, had just bullet resistant clothing. He knew he needed to get away before a shot was aimed properly, so over the roof was the only chance for _possible_ survival. Both sides reacted and were stunned by the shots taken. Bullets (IIRC) exert about the force of a strong punch. Each shot to someone with resistance staggered like they were hit, but the armor would disperse some of the energy if made well enough. The non-lethal head-shots should have made them stun a little longer, but I'd assume they were trained to react through the head trauma and _then_ gather themselves once the coast was clear enough to not have someone shooting them more.
I always figured John's reason for killing wounded assassins was less about them coming back for revenge (take enough wounds and you're not going to be breaking into a sprint for the rest of your life, let alone killing) and more out of a threatening "Oh, you want to come for me? Know the risks." We see all the assassins that _did_ go for John in this movie, but how many do you think saw the 110% mortality rate and went "...nah"
This is something I thought of while watching the movies lately. I figure there's quite a few of them who saw the 7 Million Bounty and said "Nope." Then again the 14 million and you saw the rush to get the hell out of dodge when the Continental was made Unconsecrated by the Adjudicator. I'm sure a few of them were thinking "y'know, the Paris continental is a nice place this time of year."
Okay, this is the only time i really wish you'd given 1 more win. When John has to run back to the vault to grab more gear and just yells 'WINSTON!' This has got to be the most hilarious of the films.
The glass getting cut and scratched or the glass cases they were getting thrown into? Because either way, that's kind of insane with their movement alterations from impact.
It wasn't CGI. please get the facts right. They had practiced it many times and they pretty much had one shot. edit: If you want to know how it was done, watch this video: th-cam.com/video/P0p-5DolWO4/w-d-xo.html around 1:01:10 they start to talk about the glass mansion thing and how it was done.
Something many video games (and some movies) get wrong: You have to make a weapon like this really _feel_ powerful. That meaty sound tells you this gun is business.
Anyone else notice in the knife throwing scene, at 2:44, where John Wick deflects a thrown knife with the blade of another knife? The level of skill, precision and luck required to perform that is unfathomable
ツLeo question is how do you top chapter 3? I think it’s time John uses bigger gear for the grand finale. I want to see some LMG gun fu where rather than spraying and praying like in any other action movie John will use it properly and realistically
AzureRoxe yeah it sucks people tak shit on like it's a typical brainless action movie.. the lore of it all is the coolest part and ties all the movies together so well. And every little thing in every scene is thought out, all the way down to the music matching scenes like in the first one.
Looking forward to a future team-up with Neo and Morpheus in John Wick 4. I hope they can continue to be creative with the plot and the world-building.
Fun fact: The word "Einfühlung", even though I wouldn't doubt it exists in the dictionary, isn't really used by any native German speaker. The word itself is a nominalization of the verb "einfühlen" (to empathize), but the proper translation of "empathy" would be "Einfühlungsvermögen" (lit. the ability to empathize). Oh, and while I'm being so pedantic, German nouns are aways uppercase. And don't get me started on "mitfreude". Also, is this the second time I'm getting an eye twitch about a German word on an EGA video. Why am I like this? I used to be fun at parties!
Names are "always" capitalized (not uppercase, for some pedantic payback :p ), too, but some people still stylize their names without a capital initial, so having a German noun with no capital initial isn't anything that should make anyone look twice outside of formal writing.
@OriginalTharios Replying to comments that aren't directed at you purely for arguments sake is just annoying man. Go about your business and if someone sends a comment your way go ahead and respond. But if not just don't
Same, when I first watched this movie, I spend waay too much time trying to figure out what the tattoo said. (since I suspected it was German and I am German.) Then I got really confused because I wasn’t sure if I read it right and then I spend waaaay too much time thinking about this word and if it was a mistranslation or written this way on purpose.
Can we get you started on mitfreude? I'm curious about it after seeing the end of the video. :) And don't worry about parties - this is one of the top ways to have fun on the internet! ;)
One of the interesting things I thought about while watching the movie was the motorcycle scene on the bridge. Being a lefty I was wondering why they all drew their swords with their left hands. I can't imagine every one of them would be a lefty. So I asked my friend about it, and he said they needed their right hands to be on the throttle so that their motorcycles would maintain speed. An interesting drawback to using a sword on a motorcycle, which is where a horse or for that matter, being able to shoot lefthanded would be an advantage to trying to wield a sword with your offhand.
Interesting tidbit, thanks. Considering how wealthy the organization is, you'd think they could afford to have modified bikes where the throttle is on the left, or controlled by the feet. However, since the movie wouldn't have time to set-up and explain this information, it makes sense they would just use normal bikes for those familiar with the vehicles to notice the detail. That's a win to me!
If you look carefully you will see keanu driving the bike with his left hand across to the right side controlling the throttle while shooting with his right. Gotta be very difficult to do as it makes all natural steering actions backwards .
That "Guns. Lots of guns." only got one win was really disappointing. That delivery was perfect, sent shivers down my spine, and had my entire theater cheer when we heard it.
I feel like there aren't enough wins for the 2 of zeroes henchman just having a good fight with John and him letting them live at the end of it. (Also the final scene)
Fun Fact: Those two guys weren't supposed to have speaking roles in the original script. It was just gonna be fists, kicks, blades, and broken glass. But Keanu was being so nice to them, frequently asking if they were alright after each takedown or body throw, that they decided to include some friendly banter between them. Same jist also applied for Zero. The role was originally meant for Hiroyuki Sanada, but was passed up due to Sanada being injured. When Mark took it up, the script was revised for him. From a cold-blooded, silent assassin, he became a fanboy in an assassin's mind, because Mark was having so much fun shooting scenes with Keanu.
During the whole Storm Ninja showdown one of my favorite moments of the initial encounter to show how terrifying these guys were was them casually shaking off bullets as they reload and mow down the help. God I love this movie and these movies!!
fun fact: having been to morocco and knowing what i know, i can tell you that anything set in “casblanca” is almost definitely filmed in ouarzazate, a city MUCH farther south and in the desert. ouarzazate is also (almost?) completely solar powered!!
@@ReblazeGaming for starters, casablanca is absolutely the busy city that you'd think it would be, so i figure it would be harder to be able to film there. it's also not really in the desert like it seems to be in the movie.
14:06 Just wanted to point out the attention to detail on this shoot, John actually breaks the glass where he shoot his gun in the air while he was on the floor below during the previous scene! I really like to think John was actually leading his adversaries there before throwing them on the ground so that the glass would break.
I was also stressed about the horses getting shot xD I love horses, and they always get thrown away like trash in media. Horses always lose their lives just so the other side can get to their main target, even by the supposed good guys! Like I've heard it was a thing in war, training horses to avenge their riders and horses in general are dangerous for their size and weird (and how easily spooked they are but training does help that tremendously) but I still can't root for horse killers! In this movie, even the bad guys go out of their way to not kill the horses and frankly even though their fate was sealed for who they were fighting I hope they get a great afterlife for that.
13:57 when John sweeps that dude's legs, that should've gotten a brutal counter. Taking a fall from that height (with John pushing him as he falls) and landing flat on your back is MUCH worse than it looks
Trust me john had worse pain than that Shot in chest Punched in bullet wounds Bruises every shot he gets on body Falls off a building and breaking his bones That dude’s pain is nothing
@@ernestojrgarantuza8773 No, not John, the dude he was fighting. He swept his leg and sent him flat on his back. Which would already hurt enough on its own, but John also pushed him downward as he was falling so he would fall a bit faster and I feel it would hurt even more. Like dribbling a basketball vs just dropping it
3:40 during the horse fight when he goes around the back of the horse he taps it along the top of its butt behind the tail, which is the way people who own horses let a horse know that they’re behind it so it won’t accidentally kick them!
Russian: Da'svidanya is Russian for "Goodbye", but if you want a literal translation but features the words of the German phrase "Auf Wiedersehen" (which would actually means "Till we see each other again").
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: John Wick is an alternate Universe Matrix where Neo either never woke up from the Matrix or ended up taking the blue pill instead.
I watched this movie in the cinema and the atmosphere was amazing, I could tell that everyone was enjoying this movie just as much as me and my friends were.
John Wick isn't "terrifying" because he can kill. It's his adaptability to any fight, most fights he's taken off guard, but then adapts to the fight and wins
I'll second going and checking out Movies with Mikey, his channel is LEGENDARILY good, and criminally underrated, his editing and subtle comedy are absolutely on point, but most importantly, his videos make you think.
The things that make these movies so special for me, a martial artist, is the time and attention to detail the cast and crew took when making it. Nothing pleases me more to see a Hollywood movie be so dedicated to realistic martial arts.
Damn I went to the theaters 3 times for this, thought endlessly about different scenarios and meaning as to why Winston did what he did at the end. But not once did I think of that parallel with the key master and “making it look real” that’s why you’re the man 💪🏼
6:08 - I know this was a tense/dramatic moment but my friend and I (who both did a university project on Assassin's Creed) were in fits of laughter at this point when we went and saw JW3 for ourselves. Apparently also the only ones who knew what Wick's 'sacrifice' to show loyalty was going to be long before we saw the knife.
2:56 Kung fu hustle is one of my favorite movies of all time, I'm glad that you are going to do a video on it one day. It doesn't get as much attention as other action movies do, very underrated.
I love the scene were John customises his own revolver before shooting one bullet and leaving it behind. It was a nice reference to The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.
Given the amount of training Keanu has done, I think the ultimate capstone on his career would be a movie where he plays himself, Keanu Reeves, and has to stop some insane plot using his combat and stunt training.
This happens a lot in films with animals, it's hilarious
We should give a hand to the extras for selling "playtime with fun doggos" as "oh god, please help, they are going for the neck". There were a lot of people who had to really act for the dog shots.
I kinda feel like if they left the wagging in it might have made the dogs more terrifying. Like “Oh god these dogs are enjoying tearing people’s throats out.” Though I can understand why they had to edit it out, and I’m glad the dogs had fun.”
they should have released it on the bluray haha
I really like how during the "trying to get out of the desert fortress" scene, both Sofia and John Wick have two very distinct fighting styles. John Wick is straight forward, shoots quickly, hardly hides behind anything (other than other people's bodies), Sofia on the other hand is calmer, hides behind walls and waits for a moment to shoot. She also calls her dogs after she knows they won't get harmed which is a win

I think that it has been at least one month since JWI at the beginning and perhaps two months at the end.
No win for John shelving his book in the right spot when he's finished? :P
Alavna should be a win
Oh yes..5 win points for that..John is a man of culture
He's a killer but daggone it, he's not a barbarian.
good eye!

Lol
* Double Action, and Single Action revolvers and firearms are pretty much exactly what they sound like.
That was very instructive ! Thank you !
I heard that you’re not supposed to spin the cylinder. Can u explain this please?
Still very resemblant of The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, though.

One of the great moments I noticed after rewatching this movie recently: After Zero says that him and John are the same, John tells his dog "Sit, stay, good boy", after which Zero does as well. @@georgeofhamilton well no, since that's a medical term. Quartet is a term used in entertainment
Know the risks."
We see all the assassins that _did_ go for John in this movie, but how many do you think saw the 110% mortality rate and went "...nah"
When John has to run back to the vault to grab more gear and just yells 'WINSTON!'
This has got to be the most hilarious of the films.
That scene was hilarious. John is definitely not happy about how he has to change his usual tactics.

BEST underrated disney movies

Fighting the good fight
14:06
Just wanted to point out the attention to detail on this shoot, John actually breaks the glass where he shoot his gun in the air while he was on the floor below during the previous scene!
I really like to think John was actually leading his adversaries there before throwing them on the ground so that the glass would break.
I LOVE the adjudicator and the fact they’re an enby only makes their character cooler to me
I was also stressed about the horses getting shot xD I love horses, and they always get thrown away like trash in media.
13:46 - Gotta love an outtake that becomes an intake. Really gives a natural edge to the movie, especially ones like this with long shots.
13:57 when John sweeps that dude's legs, that should've gotten a brutal counter. Taking a fall from that height (with John pushing him as he falls) and landing flat on your back is MUCH worse than it looks
Trust me john had worse pain than that
Shot in chest
Punched in bullet wounds
Bruises every shot he gets on body
Falls off a building and breaking his bones
That dude’s pain is nothing
@@ernestojrgarantuza8773 No, not John, the dude he was fighting. He swept his leg and sent him flat on his back. Which would already hurt enough on its own, but John also pushed him downward as he was falling so he would fall a bit faster and I feel it would hurt even more. Like dribbling a basketball vs just dropping it
for real. looked awful, poor henchmen.
How many languages do you speak ?
@@manigopal92 google translate bruh
I saw the finger scene, and my first thought was "He's gonna kill every man in that desert to get that ring back, ian't he?"
Oh it’s gonna happen, can’t wait to see it
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: John Wick is an alternate Universe Matrix where Neo either never woke up from the Matrix or ended up taking the blue pill instead.
ooooh yes I like this alot :D
Mind the details: The busses with the continental-guys in them have continental-tires.
This begs the Question: can a Continental Hotel have a 3 Star Michelin restaurant?
@@TalasDD That's a Pirellious Question to ask.
I watched this movie in the cinema and the atmosphere was amazing, I could tell that everyone was enjoying this movie just as much as me and my friends were.
4:35 scene is an amazing example of color and light in this film's cinematography so much of it looks like a classical painting.
John Wick isn't "terrifying" because he can kill. It's his adaptability to any fight, most fights he's taken off guard, but then adapts to the fight and wins
I can't believe there wasn't a win for Charon being awesome in the fight.
Pls DO "RISE OF THE GUARDIANS" or "LEGEND OF THE GUARDIANS"
it's one of my favorite animation but no one ever talks about it
I'll second going and checking out Movies with Mikey, his channel is LEGENDARILY good, and criminally underrated, his editing and subtle comedy are absolutely on point, but most importantly, his videos make you think.
The things that make these movies so special for me, a martial artist, is the time and attention to detail the cast and crew took when making it. Nothing pleases me more to see a Hollywood movie be so dedicated to realistic martial arts.
Keanu Reeves as Taskmaster, all I'm saying.
Awwwww, he'd make an awesome Taskmaster!
nyeh
Oh shit yesss
Damn I went to the theaters 3 times for this, thought endlessly about different scenarios and meaning as to why Winston did what he did at the end. But not once did I think of that parallel with the key master and “making it look real” that’s why you’re the man 💪🏼
"He shot my dog!"
"I get it."
Hilarious exchange.
Zero:John,you’re incredible!!
Me:I think you mean BREATHTAKING?
I cannot thank you enough for pointing out the "blue light good, red light bad, purple light... uncertain?" motif in these movies.
CinemaWins: Nothing is true, everything is permited

CinemaWins: how many wins are there in John Wick 3?
Me: Yes.
When John says “Guns. Lots of guns” is a reference to when, Keanu said it in the matrix as Neo
When i seen this at the theater, i said to myself, " I can't wait for Cinamwins covers this " and I'm happy its finally here
2:56 Kung fu hustle is one of my favorite movies of all time, I'm glad that you are going to do a video on it one day. It doesn't get as much attention as other action movies do, very underrated.
Mr,Keanu is so sweet and gentle it’s startling to think
I love the scene were John customises his own revolver before shooting one bullet and leaving it behind. It was a nice reference to The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.
The Fact you mentioned 9mm Parabellum Bullet at the start is a win in my book
Given the amount of training Keanu has done, I think the ultimate capstone on his career would be a movie where he plays himself, Keanu Reeves, and has to stop some insane plot using his combat and stunt training.
I loved the "Nothing is true, Everything is permitted." line!
