EJ, thanks for another informative video. You may want to change the text you put on the screen from 13/18” to 13/16”. Standard SAE sockets come in sixteenths not eighteenths.

Always better to use power tools when possible! Oh and a torque wrench too!! The German cars are pretty complicated too though! Thanks for sharing with people though!
I am going to get the power torque wrench tool soon when I change my BMW M6 brake rotors and pads.
EJ , I have a porsche GTS 2008 cayenne, best thing you can do is put a catch can in. Every 3 weeks I have full tank waste oil. I bought a cheap ebay one and does job.
I used reinforce 25mm hose and use garden elbows( nylex ) and reduce to make it all work.
Wow that is awesome! I almost bought the GTS because it has nicer wheels but the dealer gave me a better price for the turbo.
@@ejsgarage it hot where I live and we go 4wd , so I cant get the turbo as they are known to over heat in the bush.
Both are nice cars.
Other mod that you may want to for utube is how to make your muffler into permanently in sports mode.
Jack the rear up or put it high mode suspension ...
if yours muffler is the twin exhuast their is a value and it as easy as removing the tube.
Plug both ends up and cable tie the tube so it does not get lost.
All the exhaust should he coming out the outer muffler.
It a free muffler delete and make the car sound aggressive.
Also EJ other video that you do is seal the headlight with silcon .. Porsche headlight on the cayenne leave around the black seal.
Also other video is to led your head and fog lights make them white.
get the 50w with built in resistance led then you wont get errors.
Just suggestion that dont cost $$$$ and people can diy themselves

Rotors is attached to main body with just one small screw torx bit T45?

The set of rotors purchased from Amazon, the Fronts were 15in/380mm, were the rear rotors the same size or smaller?
I think the same size. I used the Amazon vehicle figment tool.
How do you know brake pads need to be changed. Old fashioned way, in yearly inspection measure brake pads or is there warning light shows up in dash board telling you it is time to change brake pads. Not sure what is function of sensor cable on brake pads?
They will squeal very loud when it is time to change it
You used Ceramic brake pads. I assume they are different from Porsche PCCB brakes which are found in Yellow calipers. I have heard they are quite expensive. There is difference between ceramic vs semi metallic. Do you know if there is difference between ceramic vs PCCB in terms of dust or performance?
I only use Bosch quiet cast, they are quiet

My pleasure. The rotors will be around $299 and the pads $199.
Going out on a limb here but I believe your rotors are on backwards. The vanes between the rotor halves are suppose to rake forward, not lean backwards and your slots on your rotors are suppose to lean backwards not rake forward.

No need to start the engine to turn air suspension height off. Just turn ignition to "on" and push the height adjustment lever forward for 10-15 sec until the instrument panel tells you it's turned off. No need to do anything at all after car is jacked down. Just drive away.

Do You Need to Replace Brake Rotors Every Time You Replace Your Brake Pads? A. Your brake pads will fade faster than your brake rotors, so no, you won't have to replace them every time you replace your pads. When you replace your rotors, however, you should also replace your brake pads.
The pads have sensors and it will squeal like crazy when it is time to change it
In my other Japanese cars I never replaced rotors. Do you really need to replace rotors? Can't you just clean and resurfaced old rotors?
You can’t resurface cross drilled rotors on the Porsche
@@ejsgarage How rotors in porsche any different let's say from Honda accord? I never replaced brakes myself so don't know what cross drill mean?
High performance cars use cross drilled slotted rotors because they dissipate heat better therefore improve the stopping power.
Don't they use asbestos in brake pads? No mask?

@@ejsgarage I was talking about brake dust which you cleaned. I don't know what safe means? Asbestos has heat tolerance properties that why it was used in brake pads. Not sure if it is still used?

Any way in one of his interview he mentioned his strategy to gain traction was by buying ferrari and it was new concept back few years ago. Even Farrari will not get you very far these days. I think you have a good angle what is like owning and maintaining expensive cars.
