Knowing how a Jeep's suspension works it's the cross bar they use to center the rear and front axle. As the rear suspension compresses the axle moves over left and as the front lifts the axle moves right giving you that walking feeling. I have seen LS powered Jeep's that pulled the front wheels off the ground. I bet if you had some drag radials on it it would wheelie
I'd say it's the tires. Huge sidewall with huge power they start to act like a fat drag tire and roll over. I know they will with a hard stop with 35 inch tires, as I have a jk with 35's.
cant "take this to a track" like the guy in the video is saying, the power will help maneuver highways, its setup for rock crawling maybe hill climbing
Honestly even the 392 is too much motor for the Rubicon. And then the price is too much also. The average Jeep owner only needs a 5.7 with 395hp and a reasonable price.
Its an awesome idea but they slapped a ton of power into a vehicle that was never designed for anywhere near that power...Its the same as if they slapped the Jeeps 4WD system into a charger or something it wont be the same as a rubicon off-road lol...So this ones cool AF to look at and cool AF to brag about but not cool to drive fast lol...
If you feel the Jeep walking side to side it normally means that there is too much air in the tires. The dealerships will put 35 PSI in those tires because that's what the Jeep calls for, but that's too much and is only for stock tires. Anything above 33's should have less air to keep it from tracking like that. I have 35's on my Jeep and I keep from 28 - 30 PSI to prevent that from happening. If you get the chance, go back and have them air down to 30 PSI and see if that changes things.
Like has been mentioned Cleetus reviewed a couple of similar rigs, one about 800hp, the other was 1000. It was as insane as this one, just more. They did seem to be pretty docile and smooth till he started pushing it and I love the blower whine😎👍 Keep testing cars most of us can never afford, it great to see how stupid power levels are getting from everyone now.
At 8:20 you say the window switches are used to open and close the windows when the doors are off but that’s not possible, just given you a hard time cause we’re huge into Jeeps lol. Thats a supper sketchy build they skimped out on needed performance parts to add a fancy interior and the rhino lining that will probably never be used off road. If it were built right you wouldn’t be wobbling all around like you were. I’ve been in a Jeep with a Demon engine 840 hp built by my Jeep sponsors. That exhaust would also be smashed if you were actually wheeling it and definitely not off-road wheels. Also the red dash is not customize that’s on all the Rubicon‘s. Not saying to hate, just educate. Great video!

I love the jeep! Only downfall is the rhino lining I had that done on an old TJ and when you are out on the trail it tracks so much dirt it is unbelievable but when it is clean it looks beautiful

The tires will do that, as they have that HUGE sidewall. My wife's jeep does that on a quick stop, the rubber starts to roll over itself. I would assume the power that has can do it on wot.

suspension is not setup right, the panhard bars cause the rear axle to move one side and the front to another ig you floor it, combine that with the 2wd mode, and it is sketchy. the 392 is AWD for a reason. If you lift a jeep like this you need to adjust the geometry of the sway bars.
The swaybar could be the problem, it might be disconnected or it could be the tires or they need to check the alignment, I don't know the term for that. These are just my thoughts about the issue. No hate. Or just bring it on shop, they'll address your concern easily. I love these jeeps. I just wish they could build a full size jeep for the 3rd row to a bit longer for comfort and convenience for people going camping or else where.
They have the tires over inflated!!! Same thing happened to me! Mine were at 44psi and I lowered them to 30psi and bam! Made a world of difference! Dealerships don’t know this and they overinflate
It sounds great for 4 wheeling , normal driving ,, but for the track the suspension would have to be set up different which might take away from the 4 wheeling aspect 🤔 , maybe that's why they just did the 6.4/470 HP in the one from the factory because they could have all parts in one , normal driving , 4 wheeling , and all the fun of a true jeep without going over the top but , still Awesome 💯 , thanks brother 👍🏁

Yes it just this dealership.. they are a specialty shop so they dont get their inventory from an individual manufacturer. They seem to be able to do a better job of keeping cars on the lot

When you can literally see it rock back and forth on the video. Looks like it is definitely not optimized for the power to the road factor. Seems like you could easily role this in a corner taken too fast.
Loveloy built but replace the 8 arms teraflex alpine + Fox 3.0 shocks + Liftkit and steersmart brace steering kit That should improve the handling to this monster. We built a lot of these jeeps in Dubai
X... I'm an INSANE MOPAR dude.. Avid Jeeper, Rubicon, Challenger Scat Pack Widebody (M6), 2 Challenger R/T's (M6) and a 300C owner.... Thing is... a Hellcat/Trailcat is SCARY... because, as you so adeptly pointed out, that engine produces WAY too much power and too much torque for the suspension required to make the Jeep Rubicon the MOST capable off-road vehicle on the market... For the record, I appreciate the SRT team for tucking the beast under the hood but the likelihood of an unwitting customer flipping that rig in ANY number of situations is ALL but certain... Aside from the novelty of claiming a Rubicon Trailcat... I see this as a bit of a stretch for BOTH a Jeeper and a Muscle Car enthusiast...

Bro i did a similar project to my jeep and it behaved the same way .. the issue is from the stabilizer arms which are not set up at the correct angle.. the faster you go the more out of control the car gets.. hope that issue is solved already.. awesome build nonetheless!

The reason the acceleration feels weird is due to the advanced awd setup.. I have a 2015 Cherokee kL that just few minor upgrades and it feels like it just wants to grab the road wherever.. Jeep’s active suspension system is really sensitive to power lol.. I can only imagine a hellcat in a Jeep..

They should have made the dash and the stitching on the Wheel Blue to match the seats kind of looks tacky being red and blue.

The 5.7 is the perfect Wrangler engine. Enough grunt to go but not so much as to make it dangerously squirrelly. And could be a whole lot cheaper.
Nice I now big horsepower makes big heat so with that being said I hope with that grill that is all blocked up it still gets enough air flow!

Welcome to a Jeep that’s lifted, without steering upgrades!! With steering upgrades it will tighten up to drive a lot better.

Did you try to do it with the rear lockers on?
I think you have to lock your sway bar on highways coz I think it is disconnected.
Sway bar engages automatically over 20mph if it’s disconnected

At the 11 minute mark, what i thought would happen almost did. if FCA sold these with 6.4 hemis, it would have to come with a Mopar-branded coffin.

That Rubicon is not AWD. 2wd, 4H, and 4L with traction control. Traction control is automatically cut off in 4L.
