I can't belive that I will probably spend 4 spotlight keys just for sasquach

I will open 4+ for the sick variant
New cards I want this season are Nocturne and Sasquatch, and spotlight cards I want are Tribunal and Legion. That translates into using keys for first two weeks, and probably getting Sasquatch with tokens because the spotlight isn't very appealing.
Legion isn’t really worth targeting at this stage honestly

Rule no. 1 on these card games: Never miss out on POWER creep cards. Cards like Rulk, Mockingbird, Cull, now Sasquatch..

@@C00T47 aw man that sucks. My rule is I only grab cards that don’t have a replacement. RG was a slam dunk to me since no card does that. Course I got Supergiant and WM first the same reason and they just sit lol
I think its gonna be too very redundant for now on as most spotlights are going to be series 5 cause they are only releasing series 5 and there is no series 4 drops happening in the near future, especially with the greed train SD seems to be on. I wouldnt be surprised that we dont get one at all this year and they just introduce a series 6 as what the new cards introduced in battlepass to be or what they deem to be the big bads of the game and move them up there and add more as the game goes on, making those 9k or 12k knowing SD.
Ravonna + Havok + Prof X has been such a good combination.
Especially with Hope around negating Havok downside.
If Ravonna is out, then Havok or X should be played on Turn 4.
If not, Havok should be played on T5 at the latest.
Ravonna + Havok on T4 and he's unstoppable 4/12 unless someone played Shadow King. He's often the card that decide his lane winning.
You are correctly rating the Legion Spotlight varient as FIRE, yet you underestimate, as all do, the nearly TOTAL LOCATION CONTROL that Legion offers . 😅
That's a Fire Ink Pulp Tribunal as well. I want them.
Also, the community, as a whole, is also underrating Namora, a Split power 5/15....hmm... What other card is a comparable 5/15.. Dr. Doom? He's no good huh.
You cannot play several " Ravonna" dex.... Without... Well.. Ravonna... She's irreplaceable, hence she is going to stay an S4 ( Likley )
Saquatch is going to be Metta. Incredible, untill nerfed, likley to a 7/10.
Doom is not conditional. Namora requires a lot more set up. I do agree she's better than people think, though.
I'm pretty much exactly where you are on all these caches. I don't own Tribunal, so next week is an easy open for me. I may just get Sasquatch with tokens depending on how she lands in the meta
Since I have all the other cards in the spotlights and variants for them this is a pretty disappointing month for me personally. Nocturne is fun but replacable, Sage seems really bad in current meta with Leech and the fact you wanna play her on reveal late, but niche otherwise. Namora is also a niche card. Sasquatch is the only standout card in terms of power with the mysterio mockingbird deck. But since I only need that card I might just use 6k tokens and save all keys. But sasquatch is also kinda boring. Hoping for series drops with martyr and howard so I can get something new to play around with :)
Most excited for Sage after buff. She fits right in with my preferred archetypes. I am still contemplating if I will use keys or tokens for her because I will spend keys for Namora and Sasquatch because I am missing 1 other card in their week which I would love to play with. That legion is marvelous but I am not a fan of the inkpulp cards.
Isnt sage has the same effect as wolfbane but worse 🤔🧐?
Works on both lanes so she is much better.on the other hand I never use wolfsbane even in my surfer on reveal so...

Nocturne is a ok unit and most people are realizing that. I'm skipping this week, I need that legion variant and I don't have tribunal so I'll pull next week, even if I think sage is just ok and wolfsbane is better. Fallowing week has some nice variants and I feel like people are sleeping on nemora. Sasquatch is clearly the best card this month just like how previous months the best cards are the 10 power dump cards
great breakdown. i tend to agree. i also think that everyone says use tokens for series 4 cards but for ftp or mostly ftp, if you really want ravonna or legion, this is probably your shot because it takes a month to get 3k tokens these days. my approach is to get cards you’ll actually play and also cards that do something unique. i got pixie, gladiator and cannonball for those reasons even though they were thought to be weak. now, i did also whiff on grandmaster lol
The quiet council variants are peak, I’m lucky they were in weeks I wanted the new card

I picked up noctourne with 1 key so im good for this week but im vastly curious on Namora.. I think having more variety when it comes to 6 cost cards is a beautiful thing. This card screams hope summers combo to get her out early. I see potential doom combo or colosus ramp up
I was on the fence. But now I think Imma just skip the whole month.
