Just got my windsheild replaced at a licensed company...I have a 2014 impala LTZ. My lane departures work but not my Front collison alarm....what do I need to check....Im also going to let them know in the morning......This video is awesome👍
I just got a replacement windshield Saturday at a professional shop. I was told to take the blue and white tape off 24 hours later. Sunday I see a half inch space between the top of the shield and my car. Is this normal or should it be flush like the original my car came with?
It should be flush on the same as OEM when a glass shop use tape its cause the glue they are using is a brand we called 428 or 418 that glue bonding really good but drys after 10 to 12 hours that's why they use tape to hold it if the tape it's not enough to hold glass start sliding down and created a gap problem can occur wind noise or leaks I recommend you call back for an inspection and if in case redo it to fix the problem.
