There are two ways to handle shields with a dagger and bow build. For starters, depending on your settings, the magic shields do provide some amount of light. Alternatively, when using a torch, having a shield around just in case isn't too bad.
Great vid! Just got the game over the weekend, looking for some insperation. The way you went through the talents in the vid, is that the way you would recomend leveling it?
focus on building into as much crit as possible. with several early points into constitution for more survivability. as u progress then you can slowly start building your way up each branch taking the next best perk for each one.
I really would like to try a dagger build. I tested the slash/pierce nodes from warrior tree and it buffs up the dmg + the 10% more melee dmg and 10% crit is good. Taking all dagger dmg, Backstab, poison. The crit from the Ranger tree. Jump attack and evasion Attack + Blink for high mobility trying for Backstabs. Dex Points for sure and rest into Tank tree. Going for crystal knives, dagger gloves, Rest Warrior gear for more melee crit and tankiness. And one or maybe Even 2 6% lifesteal rings for healing. Idk wether this is Bad or Not… in Not even close enough to have enough Skill Points for this…
bonuses to slashing and piercing etc.. do slightly buff dmg. but strength does not. ur wasting dozens of points to upgrade a weapon thats primarily based off Dexterity. its just not efficient enough right now imo. those points can be better spent in other places.

Building my own ranger set atm. I still haven’t found the ignited bow. Do you remember you got it from the hallowed halls or somewhere else? My luck at the hallowed halls for the bow is 378 times and I’m gonna lose it 😅
Awesome video, is you have the old ignited bow at level from the previous patch can you get it to level 40 or do I need to re find it again at a higher level?
u need to find the newly updated version that goes to lvl 40. i found mine along with almost all my other new upgraded legendaries from the hollow halls farm i made a video for
