This is the Puffy AmiYumi video for Boogie Woogie #5, a bonus on the album Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi (the show soundtrack). this is not my video, i don't own it, i'm just sharing.
@razzlesoda Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi was on Cartoon Network for several seasons. they even had a float in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade one year. the show was new cartoons mixed with some clips from their show Papapa Puffy from Japan ^^
Thanks for sharing the video GoddessOfWhim; I actually have this CD somewhere lol. Definitely one of my favorite Puffy videos/songs and one of their best IMHO :)
La primera vez que vi este video fue en Cartoon Network, promocionando hai pufi ami yumi, esta chido a ver si alguien me puede que es lo que quiere decir por que esta en chino.
You sir would be correct to think so. I remember seeing this Puffy music video in Japan, and I thought: Hey, they ripped this idea off the GAP commercial in the U.S. Could be just coincidence, but the timing was pretty uncanny.
I remember watching this video a few times on Muchmusic back in the late 90's... the reason the video looks like this is because it was parodying or homaging the resurgence of Big Band music (which is the style they are playing here) and the GAP commercials were big during that time and were partly responsible for bringing that to the mainstream this music
Puffy AmiYumi did do the opening theme for the show Teen Titans. i have it on a CD, i think both in Japanese and English. if you PM me your email address, i could send you the full Teen Titans theme song.
no, they're just friends. they're actually married to guys. i think Ami was getting divorced, you know Japanese celebrities don't talk about themselves like American/Hollywood celebrities.
oh you know, bad ratings cause no one could find it on, to make room for crap like 6Teen, the usually reason good stuff is off CN. that's why AS has been reduced to two new animes on Saturday.
Still a bloody good song after 20 years!
Best song ever ♥️♥️
