sorry, but I remember the Fort back in the 70's and 80's. so for it to go from a place the whole family could enjoy, to becoming a sports centre and soft play area for toddlers and nothing else. where have all the amusements and funfair rides gone, that attracted all the teenagers and tourists? no swimming pool and no easy access from town via the cable cars either. no night club and bars for evening entertainment of the adults. so yes, Fort Regent IS a White Elephant. the States need to sell it off to someone who could return it back to its former glory.
