Cularia is super powerful. She let's you extend and resets a traphole after activating .special summons any traptix in defense at end phase. I personally run her at 1
I run her at 2 cause my friends hate cularia 💀💀 good on you though, i see a lot of people who don’t feel like Cularia does except take up space

Personally I feel rafflesia is mandatory at 2. She facilitates majority of your interruption imo. The deck can very consistently put up sera + 1 rafflesia sometimes even 2 and rafflesia is once per turn PER COPY so in addition to whatever you opened, you have access to 2 other trap holes straight from your deck essentially, this also allows you to cut the less powerful trap holes down to one copy, like personally in my list the only trap hole I run more than 1 of (not counting holeutea) is flood gate, this gives you space for other power cards in the main deck, like IDP which is my personal choice
People disrespecting Pudica is crazy. The shenanigans you can do with that card wins games in simplified game states.

Yeah, Pudica I think it's at least a 2-off. My main problem is that once you search the field spell, Pudica is dead as a normal summon. And running more than one field spell doesn't feel that good, because the field does nothing by itself. But the double summon + reborn/summon from hand + battle protection is nuts in the grindgame.
@@CocTheElf I like to run 3 because Pudica is the best starter in the deck imo if you open Myrmeleo, Dionaea or Mantis with it. It makes your end board so much stronger to open Pudica + one of those. Myrmeleo is better to open if you only see 1 monster though. But Pudica’s ability to remove a monster comes up a lot because you’re guaranteed to trigger a Hole trap on standby and then trigger Sera to interact even more. It’s even better if you have Allomerus or Pinguicula to steal the monster you banish with Pudica. You’re able to play around effects like Mirrorjade’s destruction effect if you manage to either force the banish effect or negate it and then remove it with Pudica, then steal it with Pinguicula. You’ll lose your Sera and Pudica but you’ll get so much follow up that it really doesn’t matter because you’ll get a Holeutea plus a search with Ping. So you’ll fill your board right back up on your turn.
Plus opening Pudica can get you to an Omni negate end board with Naturia Beast and Sacred Tree Beast Hyperyton with a monster and trap negate.
I love arachnocampa too she comes in handy so well for overlays and special summons
And she can save your monsters once per turn
Heads up on that first combo you showcased. Holetea can only use one of it's effects once per turn and only that turn, meaning that activating the effect to use it the turn it was set and banishing it from grave to extend from grave can't both be activated in the same turn. I think the combo route with that and the Therions is still worth exploring (thanks btw, long time Traptrix player and I haven't actually thought of that) but just keep in mind that you'd need to either extend with something other than Holetea or defend your board long enough to make the therion package the followup play on your next turn.
Been playing Traptrix for a long time and seeing it get this level of a power boost is both unexpected and amazing to see. The deck is really versatile and even pure builds can be radically different from each other. Always love to see what different people can come up with, with it.
Trap effects are still Speed 2 in the GY so you can get Sera back in your opponents Draw Phase. So as a first turn combo it should be functionally the same.
How I felt about the zombie support unexpected and made me jump back into the game! But took a break again and I’m back to square 1 so this deck is definitely one of my new faves
Really liking the therion package not over flooded with bunch them with good recommendations if on tight budget.

Relatively new, so take this with a grain of salt. I've been experimenting with a combination of Heavenly Prison + Gallant Granite, and a thin Labrynth line of Lady + 3x Big Welcome. The latter in combination with Traptantalizing Tune works great because Big Welcome has a GY effect. You can also target Sera with the post-summon bounce effect of BWelcome, but it doesn't return to hand since Sera is unaffected by Trap effects! It's a "free" summon! Lovely can also be fun to keep monsters from negating your traps and playing into the annoying destruction parts it brings, as well as another direct trap reset. I'm interested in the Rikka + Hyperion though, gotta look into that. It's fun to learn all this!

I prefer heavenly sky prison through gallant granite and other non hole trap cards. Tantalizing has benefits if you drop cards that have secondary grave effects like titanocider or breakthrough skill
Thoughts on crossrose dragon/black rose moonlight dragon for better bad hand recovery? Because you can link Sera and Sergas into crossrose pointing at Lily and have Regulas with Sergas attached. Then you get the quick effect to summon Rose moonlight for a bounce.
Finally a Traptrix deck to watch 😁, I have faced this deck in my OTS in PG and it’s pretty good of going first and not second.
Been looking forward to this been racking my brain trying to figure out what type of oomph I needed for it lol amazing as always

This is essentially the deck I use in master duel. Been working on making it irl but seeing that someone else is saying it's this broken makes me excited.
Feel like the therion package is pure COPIUM however the 2 extra deck spots you use for it are probably gonna give you more advantage than the therions on the main deck

If your not playing the therion package ive been playing with Link into the Vrains that card is pretty nutty especially if you open with parallel you the best board i ended on was imperm, rafflesia, gravedigger traphole the Xyz that adds another traptrix sera and ash in hand

I feel like the Therion package is suboptimal. You don't get Regulus on board until summon #7, when you could have simply overlayed into Rafflesia on summon #5. I do like the Rikka into Hyperyton line though, I'll definitely be looking into ways I can incorporate it into my own build.
I wonder if Rikka Princess would be better. Acts as an extender, tributes strenna for negate, gives you Hyperyton as extra negate. I feel like Jasmine is kinda suboptimal without therion stuff. Not quite sure if any of that is really good though
I think that pure traptrix with a small rikka package is the best competitive option
I think Traptrix with Lord, floodgates and actual good traps is the best competitive option.

Checkout Crossrose Dragon/Dark Rose Moonlight Dragon as well. In a bad hand where you only get Sera + rank 4 you can go to Merrymaker > Sargas - Lily, effect (keep Lily on board) > crossrose (sargas+Sera) colleseum, Regulas w/sargas attached). Then pop Lily and crossrose to bounce a monster with moonlight.
how about if they can tweak it 2-3 small world and a ghost bell as bridge which also not horrible to draw

I run lord of the heavenly prison, because this card is just simply nuts. I mean it protects your backrow and it can set ANY spell or Trap from Deck and to top it all of you get a 3000 Beat stick which can win games

i seriously think pudica and arachnea at 3 is a must lol but i run most decks at 45 so i have the wiggle room lol i also run typhoon sided cause against alot of decks its just super good and atrax while a little clunky is insane cause when shes on the field you can activate hole cads from your hand which makes your hole traps like quickplay spells lol plus you can still full combo and grab the atrax on the way in most instances off sera cause first turn i rarely have a monster i NEED to grab off sera or you can banish a free arachnea with garden to sp. atrax from hand or grave its really solid lol
oh and atrax makes your hole cards unable to be negated lol so the hole cards you play from your hand can play around omni negates haha

Holeatea is indeed hart opt. If you flip it, then you cannot use it in the grave on the same turn.

The first combo doesn't work. You cannot use both effects of Holeutea in the same turn, so you are just left with the traps and Regulus, which isn't bad, but, as others have pointed out, leaves you vulnerable to Nibiru. Rikka line is better because, while it does still allow for Nibiru, if Strenna is Tributed you still get a negate with Hyperyton AND you keep your traps.
Edit: Watched the rest of the video and you keep using both effects of Holeutea in the same turn.

It has synergy with Sacred Tree. I have not tested it and am very much a Naturia enjoyer, but deck space is definitely a concern. Also, there will be a lot of normal summons.

You have been using Holeutea wrong, you can only use 1 of the effects per turn and only once that turn. However, in every combo (except the last one) you used both effects of Hoeutea which is an illegal play. Just making you aware of this as it's best to provide people with correct information.
Any deck with Hyperton gets a pass from me.
But seriously, this weekend, I took just a single traptrix structure deck for fun and sleeved it against a bud with fully built cyberdragon and could seriously hold my ground.

you made a mistake if idont for goet something, when you go through the combo you say you can bring back traptrix sera with holetea but you cant. Holeteas can only use one of her effects once per turn and you already used one to activate her so i dont think you can rebirth something with her in the same turn
This was for the following turn. 🤔 not like you'd need to summon Sera immediately.

39 dollars* the structure decks went up in price
The Therion package is way too expensive for this deck when it's reliant on opening with a traptrix monster. I find more consistency running around 12+ traptrix monsters since there are times you can brick without getting a traptrix monster in hand, so having more is better.
Pot of prosperity just helps to open the traptrix monster. The more budget option is playing Lord of the heavenly prison and especially nibiru. Also with some powerful traps like torrential tribute, evenly matched and dimensional barrier does wonders in winning easily whenever you have them.

I agree with playing more powerful normal traps. In theory you don't need so many holes. Myrm searches, Sera sets, Raff activates from deck, Dio recycles them. Holetuea needs any normal traps, it's only convenient to discard a hole turn one cause dio, but not necessary.
@@davidmorrison8925 Yeah, Trap Holes are in fact strong, but they do nothing against established boards. So running blowout traps like Needle Ceiling, Torrential Tribute, Solemn Strike and Weighbridge will help the deck a lot breaking boards.

Adding Lady Labrynth to this deck would make it so much more crazy.
I run a lil lab engine in my build instead of the therion stuff; 2x Lady 1x Lovely and 2x big welcome labrynth. Lovely can be a bit of a brick if you draw her but the big welcome and lady are really good in the deck
You could just run lady tho but I like the big welcome being able to target sera for the bounce into hand when it doesn’t affect her and having it be a compulse on the following turn
