I don’t have anything earth shattering to write about other than loving the video. Thuy looks wonderful now. She’s very compliant with her skin regimen.
Hi Nerida, thanks for sharing another video! I always learn something new in each video. I notice you don't recommend face oil at all, not even for dry or dehydrated skin. You also avoid benzoyl peroxide for acne. Any particular reason?
Her skin looks amazing! I have to ask, you seem to get ALOT of ‘face-time’ massaging in the treatment products (e.g.: bioflavonoid, retinol, healing gel, etc). I am finding that for me, they absorb really, really quickly and I have to re-apply and re-apply when I’m trying to massage them in?
I may be using more then you, but i also inly massage in the q flavonoid and retinol for a few minutes......I use a massage cream for my long massage ...the rejuvi hydrating mask as my massage cream.
Lovely!!! What is your opinion on alage skincare products such as mask, face creams and serums? Ive heard good things about the agar ingredient and wanted to incorporate into my skincare, but ive heard that it can clog pores. Thank you
What and how should be the daily regimen to boost the skin when it is dull, scaring or discolored and dry So hard to decide what to get from rejuvi?.lmk I have been watching an d learning a lot. Great learning, keep sharing ur words and knowledge nerida Thanks again
Just get Thuy's kit on www.educateyourskin.com Its all the products you need in the kit getting them cheaper as a kit, plus 20% off ad free shipping:))
Nice ...how should we remove make up i feel if i wear foundation for 3 days in a row my pores clog and they become larger and take off also makes the skin drier
Sounds like you are not using the right kind of makeup brand. Use minerals color science, jane iredale, La Bella Donna. These makeups are healing and not clogging. You also need to look at your cleaning regimen. Are you using the right cleanser?
Nerida Joy thank u for replying..yes it's the best cleanser i ever tried but i use it once a day if i dont wear make up ..mybe i should change my make up i use l'oreal true match foundation
Hi Nerida, I have dark circles ans fine lines under my eyes. Also have open pores under my eyes and close to nose. Could you please recommend some treatment. Thanks in advance.
Hi Nerida.Another great video. My face is covered with little fine lines looks dehydrated but because I do take care of it its soooo soft when you touch it.It seems like all the products are just sitting on top of my skin. I use the hydrating cleanser from cerave non foaming like you mentioned also moisturizer from cerave. Ive had derma pen and fractional laser co2 (I think thats what it was called its been a year since I had it done) Just seems worse when I had them done. More fine lines were visible. I would love to hear your advice.
Maria, are you using anything other than your cleanser and moisturizer? Your skin sounds like it is very surface dehydrated to me. Do you use any products to exfoliate the skin like AHA’s or retinols? And what purpose did you have laser and needling done-what was your concern? Often times when people have done laser, it looks really great at first, but the skin almost thickens on the epidermis and starts to look dull after some time... I believe there are better ways to treat the skin than with laser, the majority of the time.
Hi and I really appreciate you going out of your way and answering.I had laser and derma pen done coz I was told by a dermatologist that my fine lines would improve. But my face seems alot worse since having them done. Also I was given neostrata 20 bionic aha used it for 3 months but was told by another dermatologist that its too harsh to use ever day so I use it once or twice a week. Also I have super retinol concentrate by Exuviance.Nothing seems to be moisturizing my skin.Pffff.So therefore more fine lines all over my face. Its a shame coz I don't have the classic wrinkles everyone gets they are vertical fine lines and my skin looks very textured.
Maria, were these treatments all done by your dermatologist? I know that neostrata and exuviance have decent products... perhaps they have products that are less strong. I’m not sure. Was there anything happening to your skin while you were using them? Redness, dryness, irritation?? For you I would work with the k cleanser, the healing gel, the flavonoid complex, and the A night gel... possibly to the AHA cream for sensitive skin, and definitely an SPF of 40+. Your skin to me sounds a lot like Thuy’s skin, by your description, but for different reasons... not so much for pitting, but because of how aggressive your treatments and possibly products are.
I only do peels on large pores, scarring, mostly acetic skin types. Once you achieve good results you can do one a year if you are oily. Myself, i have only peeled my skin once 25 years ago:))
Hi Nerida!!! My dermatologist doesn't like the prescription retinols either. I use them in a more " soft" way every day😊. Her treatments are very like the ones you speak about. I had a very serious skin condition (not acne) because of a food alergy and had to go on several treatments. Now i'm better, and everything you say allways remember me her own words. Love your vídeos!!!xoxo
With rosacea you’ve got to be careful of flare ups. Microdermabrasion, and peels are often contraindicated for them, however there are some peels that will fit as an exception. When you say scarring, are you referring to pigment, or pitted scarring? Either way, I would use a very light AHA... on a rosacea skin, lactic acid tends to be a good choice. Something like an enzyme peel professional treatment with a lactic acid... perhaps at 5% with a pH of 3 to 4. That even in itself may be too strong. Light retinols could help as well. Something more forgiving like a retinyl palmitate-the fat form of vitamin A, which tends to be non, or much less, irritating for people. From home care, I would use perhaps the A night Gel, mixed with the healing gel by Rejuvi. What might be good would be for you to use something like the exfoliating mask a few times a week mixed with a good amount of healing gel (1:4 ratio) and then the A night gel mixed with the healing gel, every other night or so (half and half) It is tricky with a rosacea skin, but that is what I might recommend to start for treatment products... it is trial and error.
Its a process with rosacea. Cannot answer that one without seeing you skin. The skin has to be prepped before doing peels:)) You can send your pic to educateyourskin@gmail.com
Think u answered my question on this video about mixing retinol with q flavonoids I also use the stronger one in salon didn't realise could u mix the both and use it every night or would it be to strongxx
Currently, my skin keeps swelling at the use of every single product even ones for sensitive skin and pure aloe vera! Immediately after applying any substance to my skin it swells up. I thought it may be an allergy to a specific ingredient but I have tried at least 20 different products since this started and they all give the same result, even pure aloe vera?
How pure...not straight from the plant hopefully. Other then very very sensitive....what skin type would you say you have? Does your skin feel hot...? sounds chemically burnt. How long has your skin been like this? You made need to try the super soothing cream by rejuvi... you may need A&D ointment from the pharmacy...or a cortisone...more info please!!
@@NeridaJoySkincare It had just been this way for 6-7 months, with no issues before. I have combination skin with a very oily t zone. I was previously using a really harsh cleanser given to me by my dermatologist with salicylic acid and sulfur. I stopped using it and tried maybe too many face washes and new products at the same time. My skin does not feel hot or look red in the morning but gets hot at the end of the day, it has not developed any rashes (it looks normal on the surface), just swelling only in the lips and the cheeks. Depending on a product I use, I get swelling in a certain area, for example, one face wash makes my lip swell, another makes my nose swell. I will try both of the creams that you recommend, Thank you so much!

if you are able to use sealed products i am sure it is fine. Most seaweed products are detoxifying and better for a more oily skin generally:))
Please can you black skin. I’m unsure of what type of products that can and cannot be used
