Hi Nerida! 👋🏼 would you consider having a model with a very dark skin, who has acne, pitted scarring, and/or pigment issues? Strong glycolics, TCA’s, or peels with resorcinol or other strong treatments are not usually a great choice, because of the overstimulation of melanocytes. I would love to see how you use the Rejuvi line to treat a skin like this.
Correct me if I'm wrong, i thought that herbal medication wasn't good for women not until when i came across with DR RORPOPOR HERBAL on youtube who cured me from Candida with his natural supplements......
Thanks for another really great educational video. I just wondered would you continue to do retinol treatments after every peel treatment to boost the turnover from the peels) or was this a one off at this stage of the treatment? Also I see you do educational talks in the US, is there any chance you might do some in Australia when you visit next? I'm a new aesthetician (beauty therapist) who is also starting her journey into her Dermal Science degree and would love some time in an educational environment with you. Once again thank you for taking the time to make these videos.
Hi Tina, Yes, Carol is using retinol every night at home. She will continue to use retinol always going forward as it is a very important part of keeping her skin healthy. I will be doing things later internationally ..... will keep you posted:))
Not sure this comment will be seen since this video is old now but I'd love to know the science behind the 'prepping' the skin for a peel with retinols & AHA's. How do they strengthen the skin? I've heard this before I just don't fully understand it. In my personal case, my skin has gotten much stronger & calmer since mostly stopping all my actives. But anyway, since the retinol & AHA are meant to increase turnover, would it not just make the peel go deeper if the skin is thinner? I'd like to understand why it's said it 'strengthens' the barrier, since it seems the opposite from what I know so far. Oh, I'd also love to know what makes the skin occlusive after a peel. Is it just the structure of it changing so much since it has been 'burned' with the acid? If you see this, Thank you!!
Correct me if I'm wrong, i thought that herbal medication wasn't good for women not until when i came across with DR RORPOPOR HERBAL on youtube who cured me from Candida with his natural supplements......

Add insult to injury and recently developed melasma from the use of some products that must have been too strong for me.. went to a dermatologist who prescribed hydroquinone.....but no results yet......help please!!!
It depends. They will go lighter generally if you are sensitive. I am not a huge fan of microdermabrasion. You can get better results with products I believe:))@@alfredolopez4092
Hi Nerida, thank you for all your videos and TIME invested! Your skin looks so beautiful! What Retinol and AHA cream you personally use. Do you use Flavonoid for your skin? Thank you!
Hi Nerida I really like your videos. I have question I have a combination skin type , oily T-zone and dehydrated I am over 30, what should I use for my skin type?
Dear Nerida, I'm getting married in 2months and I need help! I've been a huge fan of your TH-cam channel for such a long time now and I have learned so much from you! I am an esthetician as well and I seem to be able to help everyone else with their skin concerns except for myself! D: I'll be getting married at the beginning of February and I really want my skin to look Flawless and smooth! I don't know exactly what foods aside from dairy contribute to my acne and under the skin bumps/texture but I know that a lot of my skin concerns are rooted from my gut health because I was in a bad car accident when I was young and tore my intestines and three places so I do struggle with digestion. I do not eat anything that contains Dairy and I definitely try to keep the amount of meat I eat to a minimum due to my poor digestion. I do get hormonal breakouts around my jawline and my forehead whenever it's that time of the month, and all over my face I have these small bumps that create a bumpy texture when I'm wearing makeup. I cleanse my skin very well, I am surface dry, and they skincare brand I use is eminence. I scar very easily weather I extract or not, and when I have an active Breakout it is typically very red / purple. I also have a lot of textured pitted scarring on my forehead and between my eyebrows because of my monthly breakouts I get there since I was young. ( I have emailed you pictures of my skin from my email: jrtodd323@gmail.com) Please, please, please, if you have the time and have any idea what as far as diet , and rejuvi products that could help get rid of my bumps and scarring/ hyperpigmentation I would really appreciate any information you could share! Thank you so much! I wish you the best and hope you had a happy Thanksgiving! -Julia

Hi nerida what is the name of the mask that you used with the retinol inside ? how many time in a week can I use it ? and how can i order it ? Thanks!!
Its a rejuvi professional product called the Firming Mask. It can be used a couple of times a week. You may be able to purchase it on www.educateyourskin.com
I use the rejuvi physical block but it's really drying can I do anything mix a bit with another sunscreen can't wait for more on wrinkles most of my clients are needing anti ageing and loss of muscle xxx
Which sunblock are you using? The regular or tinted? The tinted may be better for you. The regular one can be a little heavy, in my opinion... but then again, I’m pretty heavy handed with product... especially sun protection.
@@NeridaJoySkincare thank you so much! I assume the flavonoid goes first on the skin? I am using the dermalogica biolumin-c serum (feels a bit oily, not water based)
I am an esthe in Oregon. I am not an advanced, so I’m unable to do strong peels that turn the skin white. I do strengths of salicylic, glycolic & lactic depending on skin type ... So I tried them all on my mum (60yrs old) who has deeper wrinkles, sun damage and jowls beginning to form. Treatments were months apart of course... She feels little to no tingling except around her nasal area. These are not budging her skin. Age related dry skin with defined pores. It is not thin, textured or scared. I feel it can handle a good strength but is impermeable. Do you have any suggestions on how an esthe like myself can be most effective for her? Here are my limitations with chemicals: - Unbuffered alpha-hydroxy acids at concentrations greater than 15%; - Buffered concentrations of alpha- hydroxy acids of 10-30% where pH is less than 3; - Any concentration or formulation of alpha hydroxy acids greater than 30%; and - Any concentration or formulation of trichloracetic acid (TCA) containing phenol or resorcinol, or salicylic acid which acts on living tissue. Trying to avoid being presumptuous with all that info, but wanted to be thorough in case you felt inclined to offer your expertise! Kind Thanks!
For aging skin...including my own as am almost 60. I like the alpha hydroxy acid complex. Or just lactic or glycolic would also be fine. I work with 2.8ph 25% to 35% max. But its also within a great carrier for less surface irritation.
That is quite the limitation on what you can do. Okay, for professional treatments I would look into a company called Skin Script. Their chemical peels, you would not be able to use, because of the low pH. However their enzymes you could. They have many enzymes to address many concerns, containing acids at lower percentages. I think there might be only one where the pH may be too low. I can’t remember. They generally recommend doing lighter treatments more frequently. Make sure your clients are on AHA’s and/or Retinols, as well as a melanin suppressant for some clients. If you have further questions feel free to reach out. :)
Nerida Joy You are wonderful thank you. Your skin is lovely too! I used a 30% Lactic peel with carriers of glycerin, fruit extracts & lactobacillus....Then upgraded to a salicylic/lactic blend with glycerides and lemon oil with a bioavailability score of 25, combined with a lactic papaya accelerator... Then upgraded to a 25% glycolic/5% lactic/charcoal peel with willowherb. ... But her skin doesn’t react with any of these even if left on longer. I might need to send her to an advanced esthe for deeper TCA treatment? But you said for aging you prefer the AHA’s so I thought I’d ask. I appreciate your feedback, thank you!
Hi, I noticed what seems to be cystic breakouts coming in along the sides of the face and even on the chest back and shoulders which I usually do t breakout. Do you know what could be possibly causing that? I would like to also add that I don’t drink milk. Thank you so much. GOD BLESS.
Make sure you are drinking lots of water to keep your body flushing. Painful cystic acne is hormonal..... you may just need some good pimple treatment products to help:))
Nerida Joy Thank You so much that’s what I decided that I needed to do well my mom suggested and now you so yea that’s what I’m going to do I’ve also stated drinking some lemon and ginger tea and tea with turmeric in it. I PRAY it gets better. Thank You for sharing! GOD BLESS.
