That was possibly the best Nerida Joy video I've seen to date. Informative, warm, demonstrative, lots of time to talk through. Love all this. Thank you.
I know you’ll be at the Philly show this weekend and I will be at your workshop and so looking forward to meeting you. You are a wonderful example for us newer Esthys - after 25 years in Corp law, learning skin from people like you is so critical - thank you Nerida 🙏
I am so excited you are going Rima:)) Looking forward to meeting you too. I am speaking on the main stage Sunday Morning...no workshop though. Please come see me after in the speaker lounge too:)ox
I am enjoying your videos soooo much. I just got my license a couple of weeks before lockdown, so your videos have helped me keep my mind going and learning. You talked about layering products, but should I be careful about maybe the products not getting along at the same time on the skin? What products are no, no’s to mix.
congratulations!! just no retinols and ahas usually. Keep your actives single upon an application is the safest in more concentrations. But.... it depends on formulas. :))
I'd love to hear you describe in detail what you're seeing in the skin and how it's distinguished (when you identify the redness) as probably being product based vs it being rosacea or an illness or an internal allergy or some other issue. Do you have detailed skin analysis in your 5 star course?
Hi Nerida, do you actually teach? I think you are (or would be) wonderful at it, these videos really show it. I love watching your videos, so much information and your warm, soothing voice. ❤️
Hi, I love your videos! Ive learned so much from you. I want to order some rejuvi products im just concerned with the Methylparaben in some of the products. What are your thoughts on these types of ingredients? Thank You.
Hi Nerida, thank you for this informative video. I hope you don't mind me using this opportunity to ask you a question. About 3 weeks ago I started using Rejuvi products for the very first time and now I have been waking up with tiny whiteheads on my face, they can be on my forehead, cheeks, nose or chin. I'm using K Cleanser morning and night, G aha cream for sensitive skin morning and night, Q Flavanoid in the evening only, S facial sunblock during the day. I'm about to add Y renewal gel to my morning routine when my order arrives. FYI I'm 60 years old.
hummm, are you cleansing well with the wash cloth in the PM? Using the cleanser on clean dry hands...no water? It sounds like its to much on your skin. Are you using a g aha on your finger tips first then applying to your skin?
Nerida Joy, firstly thank you so much for replying. I've been cleansing with a clean washcloth pm but I have been adding some water before wiping off with the washcloth. Ive also been doing a first cleanse with Jordan Samuel's After Show Treatment Cleanser to remove makeup. I've been smoothing the aha cream on my fingertips first then pressing into my skin.
Thankyou for such an important and informative video! I would like to know what you think of the clear and brilliant laser treatment. I have been told three sessions (one month between each) is like having one fraxel laser.
I have a question about layering spf. How many times should you reapply on a normal day of work indoors? I have a moisturizer with spf50 and I wonder how many times I such repply? In sumnertime I use it 3x a day, but I read you should reapply every 2hours which I think is just too much for me unless im on thr beach I don't have the time to worry about sunscreen every 2hours.
You don’t reapply my dear... no one does. It’s not to say that you shouldn’t, but it’s unrealistic, unless you can or if you are going makeup free. Just be liberal about your spf, and making sure you’ve got a nice even coverage. It’s great to layer products that have SPF-it doesn’t increase your protection/SPF, but layer an spf, and then a makeup or tinted product that has an spf in it, over the top will insure you are getting a more even protected coverage that way. Hope that makes sense. If you are able to reapply, I say do it, but if you are wearing a full face of makeup, just make sure that you’ve got a nice even coat all over, is my advice.
Yes, if you are indoors most of the day...one application is great. If going outdoors and you can apply a few coats before heading out, awesome. I do not usually reapply throughout the day as I am wearing makeup but if i am going to be out most of the day i do love the colorscience or la bella donna mineral powder makeup for dusting an extra coat of spf. That is another spf 50 and it does come in colors:))
Hello😙thank you for the great video. I'm using AHA for sensitive skin in the morning. I heard you saying your interview with Jordan, you recomend retinol formula on Dark skin types. I use Rejuvi line and should I add the retinol serum or A night gel? TIA
Hi Nerida! I have an oily/combination skin, and I do use a hyaluronic acid + vitamin c (ascorbic acid) serum but as you said in the video, some people are sensitive to vitamin c and NOW I understand why I get very tiny reddish bumps in my upper cheeks (it's not very noticeable but I do see it, what can I do to avoid getting this slight reaction? should I search for a magnesium based vitamin c?)
Also, I've started using a non foaming cleanser since the one I was using was drying my skin tremendously, although I live in northern Spain (next to the coast) and it is quite humid in here, as well as a non-granule exfoliating mask (I'm 19 and I've NEVER exfoliated my face so I hope this makes a difference). I find your videos very helpful and educative so I wanted to try the Rejuvi line. It is true that after taking off the cleanser it feels like the skin is not 100% clean, but doing it twice every night really works :)) Oh btw, the h skin healing gel and the q flavonoid complex are both a miracle, they are helping me so much due to my easy scarring. Thanks Nerida ly :)
It could help switching to a different form. I recently took a course with a different company this past weekend-they use what is called ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate, which is basically ascobic acid that is wrapped in lipids (fats) to avoid irritation and have better penetration to the cells. That could help you. Magnesium ascorbyl phosphate is another option as it is also more stable than some forms of Vitamin C.
You just have to make sure you are using a NON foaming cleanser and all your other products support your condition. You don't have to use glycol acid to get rid of surface dryness.....but your regimen must not be right if you have dryness. Glycolic acid comes in many different forms, so some may be perfectly fine for you. Have you tried the rejuvi brand yet?
@@NeridaJoySkincare thank you for your answer! You are the best! Im using a non foaming cleanser ( Im a fan of your channel) I haven't tried it because I live in Argentina, what would be your next recomendation for the surface dryness on a oily sensitive skin?
Quick question, and anyone can answer, I recently switched to a non-foaming cleanser (I want to say it's oil based) but I keep getting little white pimples on my face. Is that my skin purging because it's not as dry anymore or is it just not getting clean? It's the reason I've avoided these types of cleansers in the past, I don't k ow if that's normal or not. I appreciate any feedback!
I have very similar skin, Thickness from lack of sun protection, rosacea, sensitive skin, large pores... And can get irritated from products... My skin texture looks the same, with the mild rosacea and irritation... My partner always confirms I am a hot water bottle and I never wash my face with hot water otherwise I am in for trouble... After watching this I've come to realise, all my products are very drying my skin is always so dry... But gets very oily in my T-zone. Skin looks dull, and tired, and I know my diet needs to improve... My skin looked it's best when I was raw vegan and eating fruits and veg, all the food I am eating now Is causing inflammation. Meat, dairy, more processed foods (finally complained enough about my skin for my partner to give a healthier diet a go) My cheeks and temples have 0 visible pores. And skin is always soft and smooth (still dehydrated). Forehead has false wrinkles from thickness, and dryness. I get lazy with cleaning sometimes, because if I'm not wearing makeup I don't want to dehydrate my skin further, I noticed this line of product is very minimal and safe with ingredients. So I'm throwing out all of what I have.... to use products that work well together.

Thankyou for such an important and informative video! I would like to know what you think of the clear and brilliant laser treatment. I have been told three sessions (one month between each) is like having one fraxel laser.
They say the clear and brilliant laser is like a good facial. Fraxel is stronger and I do not recommend it.
