In this episode I covered the new Le Gemme trilogy of masculine scents from Bulgari, comprising:
- Falkar (at the start of the video)
- Opalon (at the 18:00 minute mark)
- Yasep (at the 25:00 minute mark)

Blotter update:
- Thankfully, Falkar remains wonderful: a perfectly-judged leather, with just enough woods and musks in the base to keep things darkly interesting. Terrific work.
- Opalon has become a dismissal-worthy nothing of saline-marine notes and thin woods.
- Yasep is even more disappointing, with its over-reliance on synthetic sandalwoods. Mind you, it isn't anywhere near as loud as I thought it might turn out to be, so that's some kind of blessing.

I smelled FALKAR today 1st time @ GLOBUS in Zurich.
For me this is very catchy, has nice warm, "old" smells.
May not to use all and every where.

I've bought Yasep and I absolutely love it! ❤️ I've gotten wonderful compliments and don't regret spending the money on it at all. My next fragance is Bvlgari Tygar.

I’d say it’s more woody-leathery. It didn’t really make me think of the Guerlain.

Thanks for writing, Michael. There's no simple answer to this one, but suffice it to say that free space in my study is hard to find... and when it comes to birthdays, special occasions etc, anyone I know is most likely to receive a bottle of scent... :-D

@@oussochou4186 I bought Yasep and not only do I absolutely love it, but I have also gotten wonderful compliments by several Women. In fact, I even had intimacy with a Lady I met on a first date and she said thay the fragance made her enjoy her time with me because she totally loved the smell of it. Now, go easy when spraying it on you. YASEP is sweet and intense. Two sprays will do. Maybe even one. Buy it. You'll love it.
