Loved the tutorial!! It's detailed and step wise which makes it easy to follow. below notes are for my reference: 1. make a slip knot and chain 6 2. slip stich into first chain to form a ring 3. Round 1: chain 3(counts as dc) and double crochet 15 times in the ring(16 dcs ) 4. Slip stich into 3rd chain of beginning chain 3 5. Round 2: chain 5(counts as dc + ch2) , continue until the round is complete(i.e 15 times) 6. Slip stich into 3rd chain of beginning chain 3 7. Round 3: chain 3(counts as dc), 2 double crochet into ch2 space, 1 dc into dc stitch and 2 dc into ch2 space until the round is complete(i.e 15 times) 8. Slip stich into 3rd chain of beginning chain 3 9. Round 4: chain 5(counts as dc + ch2) , skip next stitch, 1 dc, ch2, continue until the round is complete(i.e 23 times) 10. Slip stich into 3rd chain of beginning chain 3 11. Round 5: chain 1, 1 single crochet into same stitch, 8 double crochet into next dc stitch, continue until the round is complete(i.e 11 times) 12. Slip stitch into the first single crochet, chain 1 13. cut the yarn and weave the remaining part into the project
I started crocheting about 4-5 days ago & couldn’t make anything. my friend, who has been crocheting for quite a while, recommended this video for me to learn and try. I’m proud to say I’ve achieved this and will be exploring your channel to see other crochet items I can make, thank you for this video! 💗

Thank you. I slowed the video down and I managed to do something that ended up looking like yours. I’m excited to learn and improve. This was my first attempt ever at crocheting
Thank you for making this easy to follow and complete! Finished in about two days (during nap times) and I’m so proud! One of my first actual projects. Going to keep practicing!
Thank you so much for the video! Made this in about 40 mins. This is literally the BEST crochet tutorial I've ever seen - super clear and great editing
Thank you for your teaching. Easy to follow and lovely pattern🌼I managed to make a lovely pattern for the first time. Please continue sharing such videos like this..
I love ur tutorials. U work slow n gv proper written instructions to follow wch makes it easy for beginners to follow too. You have so many beautiful doilies n coasters wch are absolutely a delight to make ❤️
i needed something which was easy to understand because im very new to crocheting and i loved your video so much!! im doing this as a gift for my boyfriends mom and the coasters look so so amazing, thank you for this excellent video!! :)))
I just made this following your tutorial and will give it to my sister as a gift :-] thank you so much! I checked ur channel and all ur projects look super neat and tidy !!

Hi Kristine, thank you so much for sharing this helpful video. I have already made two of these coasters and I am going to make more for my friends and family. Its such a simple design and yet so beautiful. ❤️☺️
I’ve only been learning since Monday and haven’t yet been able to crochet anything successfully until I came across your video! Thank you for this amazing tutorial I actually managed to complete this with minimal mistakes 🥰 I’m so proud of myself because I really was going to give up learning altogether. Quick question how do I stop my pieces curling…? It doesn’t lay flat like yours does xx
I'm glad my video was helpful! ❤️ You might need to block them when you finish. I usually press my cotton doilies with the steam iron and gently stretch them into desired shape.
Hi I just made this coaster and I love it could you please show how to crochet a matching coaster holder/basket! I tried to just keep doing the first round over and over but it didn’t work
Very pretty, thanks for sharing. I used Peaches & Cream cotton yarn and 4.25mm crochet hook but it didn’t turn out the way I wanted, it was too bulky. I have to buy thin yarn, too bad. =(
Is round 5 really supposed to be repeated 11 times? I was doing great until I got to this round and I had a lot more repeats available than 11. It looks like on your video you would have more than 11 also.. so I took it apart and I’ll try a different one of your patterns, but what did I do wrong??
Hey, im a beginner crocheter, and i suppose that tue reason could be because of the hook size or yarn size, if the hook or yarn size is bigger or smaller, there may be size differences
What a lovey pattern! Made my first crochet coaster using this, turned out beautiful. Thank you so much! What’s the tool you used for weaving in the ends ?
hello :) first time crochet person attempting this tutorial! i keep running into the same issue no matter how many times i start - after doing 3 ch and 15dc (first row), when i count the top stitch, i always come out to 11-12 so when i go around doing the 15dc w 2 ch after the 5ch, i come up short.. does anybody know what i’m doing wrong? 😅 any advice would be greatly appreciated! thank you!!
Hi, been a following your crochet tutorials, and I was wondering, where do you buy your yarns, and which brands do you think is best to use? Hehe love and thanks from the PH😍😍
Hi.Thanks for watching my tutorials!😊I usually buy my yarn from my local craft shop, I also buy yarn online at yarnstreet.com, Amazon, Etsy, etc. My favorite brands at the moment are Alize, Nako and Drops but I am sure there are plenty of other great yarn brands out there.

Hi I just made this coaster and I love it could you please show how to crochet a matching coaster holder/basket! I tried to just keep doing the first round over and over but it didn’t work
Very nice work, good tension. Very soothing and a pleasure to watch! =^..^=
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!❤️
Thank you so much! I was able to make my very first crochet project. It turned out really pretty
What ply you used to make these coastwr
Anyone know what should i do after i finished it..i use cotton milk yarn.. should i wash it? Maybe soak in warm water? Or hot water??
Very pretty, thanks for sharing.
I used Peaches & Cream cotton yarn and 4.25mm crochet hook but it didn’t turn out the way I wanted, it was too bulky. I have to buy thin yarn, too bad. =(

Very good tutorial. I would like to make 6 coasters. How many balls of yarn would you recommend? Thank you.

Do you do anything to stiffen your coasters? I made 6 and they're beautiful, but floppy.
I block my coasters and doilies with the steam iron and gently stretch them into desired shape. Sometimes I also use spray starch.
Nice
beautiful
Thank you! 😊
Which thread have you used?
What if you want it bigger?
You can go up in yarn and hook size to make it bigger.
What's the name of the niddle u r using
It's a latch hook.
What a lovey pattern! Made my first crochet coaster using this, turned out beautiful. Thank you so much!
What’s the tool you used for weaving in the ends ?
Glad it was helpful. 🙂 It's a latch hook.
Is cotton yarn the best for making coaster and tablemats???
Do I have to use cotton?
You can use any yarn of your choice.

I will try to help you. Don't count your 5 chains as part of your 15 repeats. You should have a total of 16. I hope it helps.❤
