    The doily measures approx. 16 cm (6.3 inches) in diameter.
    Materials used: Sport weight yarn. I used Drops Safran 100% cotton yarn. 8 grams (26 meters approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.

    my friend and I at 62 and 63 years old both started crocheting, you are the first tutorial we have seen where the instructor holds hook, yarn and worked piece exactly like we do. Awesome! Love this easy piece to work up!

    I am trying to make a little more rounds in the doily, but it is bending in the last stage, what do I do to correct it?

    Mine keeps ruffling up! How can Iprevent this?

    • @coolusernamel
      @coolusernamel ปีที่แล้ว

      Your tension might be a bit loose or you could be using a hook that is too big for your yarn.

  • @karenmills8240

    Can I make with #4 yarn and maybe size 5mm hook, this looks similar to a placemat I have made but didn’t have a coaster pattern to match, this will be perfect, thank you.

      @@KristinesCrochets genius. I need to get one of those. Do you use one size for all projects?

    • @KristinesCrochets
      @KristinesCrochets  ปีที่แล้ว

      I use this particular one for thin yarn projects (doilies, coasters, tablecloths etc) and I also have it in bigger size which I use for thick yarn projects like bags, rugs, etc.

    I'm new to making doilies, but this is my absolute favourite one so far! ❤ I'd love to support you, but I don't see this one's pattern in your Etsy nor Raverly store. The blog link doesn't work either 😢 Btw I also love the orchid and heart doily coasters from you! 🥰 Your work is amazing and the tutorials are easy to understand ❤🧶
