As somebody else said, saab died with its ethics and philosophy intact, unlike its rivals

The number one collision in Sweden was between a car and a moose. Saab and Volvo made them to withstand the impact.

I don't know if you meant that as a joke or not, but its actually true, in case anyone was wondering 😂

easy to get impressed on youtube, it doesn't simulate real-world scenarios. yes, the A pillars might do. I've seen a Saab where the moose went through the car and escaped through the rear window.

      lucky moose and maybe passengers.
5874 moose auto collisions reported in Sweden in 2016 alone. @@miljororforsprakpartiet290

The problem is that their cars only tailored to certain people and they never had a good USP. Having one which was a mix of reliability and safety, but not as much as other cars. Given they couldn't make their cars economical to make and mismanagement by GM. It only makes sense they collapsed

If I could bring back one car brand it would 100,000% be Saab. That might change if Lancia ever kicks the bucket (which is probably likely) but the fact that Saab went to so many lengths to invest in safety you can't help but just respect them.

I remember and miss every one of my SAAB's (but I never had a GM Saab)
I remember all my other cars too, the VW golf that rusted away in front of my eyes, the Chevy that fell apart in the driveway and had a major repair every month. I do not miss them.
