Hank Williams Jr. 1980 Press Conference in Casper, WY

Hank Williams, Jr. had a concert scheduled for Casper, WY when I worked at KTWO TV and Radio. It's been years since then, but as I recall the weather delayed his equipment trucks and so the concert was cancelled. He was kind enough to sit down and visit with media folks, including myself and chat about his father and his career. I found out that he LOVES Montana! If I am wrong on the reason for the cancellation perhaps some friends in Casper can correct me.

I've been to his concerts before when he would come to Atl. Ga. He would play at the Omni . Of course they've torn it down since then and built a new Coliseum . It's called Phillips Arena now . Love his music !!

Come on now Hank. You were 18 yrs old and played a little bar in Rosenhayne NJ with a 50 yr old Man. I know because he was my grand daddy and he held that memory until the day he died. If you only got one fan over here it's me. Now I'm surrounded with fans when I go back to Newport Tennessee 😂😂

Matt Harden .. I bought a pair of boots from the Mary Carter paint store when I lived in cullman county. I was blessed to live in hanceville for two years as a child and it was some of the best memories of my life. Good people in that area.
