    Thank you very much! The way you explained it , made it so easy for me. (Just like your other great videos!)

    Superb! Would not have even thought of trying as I thought there would be conflicts - thanks a lot.

      The only conflicts are when you are using the same controls for other views (external views etc) - most welcome btw ;)

    Brilliant.. (a thumb up) this is one of those things one might describe as a 'game changer' because coming from X-Plane, setting up views etc in MSFS is a right PITA. Thanks for a great tutorial ... now able to easily explore my payware sceneries with ease :)

    Did you add a setting to reset the view back to the aircraft? Another great settings video. I’ve learned so much on V1F from you.

      I have one button remaining on my throttle quadrant - so that would be an excellent fit for it ;)

    If the bumpers are being used for left & right brakes (no rudder pedals) are those functions eliminated?
    Another issue I've had is that in exterior view from the rear of the plane it appears that the plane is askew (from rudder to nose of the aircraft). Not quite sure what other setting is interacting to cause this. Any thoughts.

    • @Huddison
      @Huddison  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Frank, your brake settings shouldn't be affected whilst in Drone mode and they won't be eliminated. Not certain re the askew-ness of your aircraft.

      @@Huddison Thanks so much for the quick reply. Burning the midnight oil?
      Had a ridiculously difficult approach but somewhat successful landing flying in "live weather" this p.m. on L.I., N.Y.
      Quick but eventful VFR flight in Cessna 152 from Montauk Pt. to East Hampton. Had to overrule the "forbidden to land" from ATC as the airport went IFR. Plenty of fellow gamers in the area aloft - can't vouch for where they ended up. Fantastic simulator, especially with V1F on Xbox S.

      @@frankw204 I completely agree Frank - I was just thinking last night, that I couldn't imagine my flight Sim hobby without MSFS now.

    On the velocityone flightstick where is the default button to go from internal camera view to external camera view. I can't seem to find it.

    • @Huddison
      @Huddison  ปีที่แล้ว

      By default, I believe it's the button with the 2 small squares, left of the big X.

    This is an interesting use of the V1F Controller to operate the drone (Showcase) camera. As I now have 7 different profiles for different types of aircraft if I was to use the bindings you suggest I would have to copy them across to all the other profiles. As I don’t use the drone camera all that much, on balance I don’t think it is too much of a hassle to continue to use the XBox controller for controlling the drone. It would be just about the only use I have for it now, apart from navigating around the World Map, as you can’t move the Map with a mouse. Nevertheless thanks very much for the video - something definitely worth considering.

      I use the Drone cam a fair bit; to either scout ahead, or for capturing landings on Multi player flights. It's really down to preference and what not.

    Thx 4 the nice tutorial👍👏👏...that kind of stuff should be given from the manufacturer too but there isn't much information about all features

      Yes it should have been ideally.

    I am just learning MSFS. Do you have a set up for velocity one to setup for a four engine bomber the short Stirling. Each time I try to take off the tail lifts then can not stop it turning off the runway and the engines shutdown. i need to setup a profile for the bomber. I used your site to help me setup a spitfire profile works great.

      Unfortunately, I don't have such a video David; food for thought though.

      Found that the turn off runway was due to auto rubber. Turned that off then can takeoff 🛫.

    Great video as always, but at the moment this is really buggy on Xbox (sort it out Asobo!), Toggle Drone Camera doesn't, err, toggle, and the button I've assigned (B12 on the throttle quadrant) is not used for anything else. Anyone else had this problem?

    • @karlluinen5034
      @karlluinen5034 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes followed this to a T and once I press the button assigned to Drone camera it goes outside properly but pressing it again does not return to cockpit as a toggle , any idea what is wrong ?
