I was diagnosed with SLE in 1990 at the age of 10 years old and it affected my Kidneys CKD 2 mild. Exercise, healthy eating, and my mom at that time use to give me a juice combination of Beets, Orange and carrots it worked amazingly that doctor were surprised how good I was doing the next visit I went too. I changed my diet drastically. No junk like sweets, pizza, hamburgers, pasta. I eats healthy smoothie filled with green veggies and fruit. I eat healthy carbs like quinoa and chic peas. Never thought I could do this, but that last hospital visit was it for me. I'm tired of feeling bad.

I feel lupus is controllable by having a good life style ... Waking up early and doing yoga meditation kayakalpam and taking foods at right time.taking medications with the advise of good doctor . The thing that seems to be helping me is keeping stress as low as possible. Drinking 2 litres of water a day. High dose vitamin C and getting out walking. Also having a hobby/interest/mission. Eating healthy too of course

How do we work out, when we need a cane or walker, have no ability to do a plank, or once to the floor can't get up? My wrists or elbows can't support me to do a plank. It is too icy to go for a walk. Exercise is quite difficult at this time.
One exercise that helps me is moving my arms in circles. You can raise them up, and lower them when it gets too tiring. You can also do this exercise sitting down, so you don’t have to worry about falling. It might seem like a small exercise, but your arms get tired quite quickly, so you will know that it’s working!

Here is my question, I want to exercise but when I do (I’m talking about walking, none of the suggestions you made) I get so tired during the walk I want to stop walking and take a nap on the sidewalk. It doesn’t matter how much I sleep, I ALWAYS need more. If I did the exercise the way you suggested I’d be in bed for a month. When you apply these 3 things and it doesn’t help, then what?
Same here, I’m over the top tired, I barely do my home chores then I’m out of breath and sleep doesn’t help much. I wake up in the morning as tired as I went to bed. I toss and turn in the night and every inch of my body feels like I’ve been beaten with a baseball bat. Oh I avoid daytime naps because I can not wake up after one hour or two which messes my sleeping cycle. It’s a real struggle.
I don’t know if this will help you, but it might. Juice with a juicer or blend five apples, four oranges, three carrots, two handfuls of kale or spinach, one lemon and one to two inches of fresh ginger. Drink only this and water all day long. At first it will go right through you, but keep drinking it throughout the day. Try to do a little exercise, like waving your arms in circles ( this helps me a lot, because I can feel the effects of the exercise and juice right away), or walking. Make more juice if you run out. Drink as much as you want. Try for one day, then try for two. This has helped me, in the past.
I really hope you come back to check for replies. I had the debilitating fatigue problem for YEARS. Finally figured out I was suffering from mercury poisoning from an amalgam filling I'd had since 1998. Had it removed in 2021. Healing has taken longer than I care for, but I no longer have to race home to crash. D3/K2,. magnesium(lotion and supplement), and methylene blue help me tremendously.
Im in the fitness industry and i work with someone who has Lupus. Avoid those HIIT workouts. Its too taxing on the body. Start with very low intensity like walking. You should start with getting good rest. Once you wake up ⏰️ and you have enough energy, go for a 10 minute walk just to elevate the heart rate a little. 5 minutes out from home and 5 minutes back home again. Then do some stretches (full body). Always try to do your walks when you feel you have some "extra" energy. Don't be afraid to take naps after exercise.

I'm from South Africa. Drink alot of water, water is very important, cut out sodas especially the cheap sodas that have apaspartame and Alsefesane-K in, Avoid sugar, Avoid too much direct sun. Garlic and Lemon does not go well with me. I struggle alot with extreme fatigue get dizzy and short of breath alot and heart palpitations with flare ups. Started with rashes on my body about 2 months ago, didn't have it before, chronic kidney infections, 1 kidney removed.

Exercise and borax in the tub and a very minuscule amount in coffee and drinking water. Also a healthy dose of lemon water for gut and stomach issues. Staying away from gluten and cow's milk is paramount. Eating lots of green vegetables and avocados seems to be very helpful. Chocolate, milk products, sugar, starches and store bought breads definitely seem to be the enemy. I'm still experimenting with fruits

I don't useeds but belive I have lupus with out a doubt. I treat most with diet snd am allergic to pork. I'll look at the email. I get joint pain that makes me tierd joint slipping and infections no colds or flu. Just need help I end up drug resistance after a bit of taking them and gets more resistant theore I take them. I used to sleep well now I sleep too much
I also am allergic to pork. I can’t have a lot of things, because they about cause severe reactions. No milk, pork, gluten (no flour, wheat, barley, no grains except oats and rice), no sugar, no soy products, and the only oil I can consume is olive oil. I focus on fresh fruits, vegetables, and unprocessed/ unbreaded fish, chicken, beef, or turkey. I try to consume more anti-inflammatory foods, drink a gallon of water a day, take vitamins, minerals, and drink protein shakes. It’s a job just to do my morning routine. It takes about 2 hours (because I hurt all over and moving slow), and by the time I’m done, I’m wore out and have to lay down for a nap. Hard to keep a job too!!

I was diagnosed with SLE in 1990 at the age of 10 years old and it affected my Kidneys CKD 2 mild. Exercise, healthy eating, and my mom at that time use to give me a juice combination of Beets, Orange and carrots it worked amazingly that doctor were surprised how good I was doing the next visit I went too. I changed my diet drastically. No junk like sweets, pizza, hamburgers, pasta. I eats healthy smoothie filled with green veggies and fruit. I eat healthy carbs like quinoa and chic peas. Never thought I could do this, but that last hospital visit was it for me. I'm tired of feeling bad.

You very helpful doctor, i was diagnosed with lupus last year(2022) November and started the treatment right away but my Rheumatology kept on telling me that I look fine and i don't have to quit meds cause I will die or go back to her with serious dying issues, in December i decided to stop medication without knowing what to take just stop them and i was also afraid to die and i became strong and leave the medication, i started to exercise a little didn’t eat healthy food, didn't rest enough because of stress but after a month I told myself that i have to beat this without going back to meds because they were time where i felt that Iam tired of this diseases and Iam dying i need to take back my meds because i had a serious and deadly symptoms (lost my hair 3times now, having a butterfly rashes on my face, not being able to walk, vomiting blood all of that scary lupus symptoms were fighting with me to the pont where i loss hope but i kept my hopes high by the support that i have from my Boyfriend and he kept on encouraging me not to take medication back because they gave me rough time, Iam a strong black women age of 24 i didn't let anyone of that symptoms affect me or anyone bull me but believe me 6 months now without medications but iam still here doing fine and doing everything for myself without joint pains i can walk like before, my face is normal even the colour on face is fading away, i am left with lost hair in some areas but i believe it will come out... Every difficult that i had are gone🥰you can do this if you believe in yourself, for me I believe you can be off medication if you believe in yourself without doubt because you can take medication for the rest of your life without any improvement just do what you believe in don't do because your friend or doctor told you to do So... The thing that seems to be helping me is keeping stress as low as possible. Drinking 2 litres of water a day. High dose vitamin C and getting out walking. Also having a hobby/interest/mission.

You can also do this exercise sitting down, so you don’t have to worry about falling. It might seem like a small exercise, but your arms get tired quite quickly, so you will know that it’s working!

Here is my question, I want to exercise but when I do (I’m talking about walking, none of the suggestions you made) I get so tired during the walk I want to stop walking and take a nap on the sidewalk. It doesn’t matter how much I sleep, I ALWAYS need more. If I did the exercise the way you suggested I’d be in bed for a month. When you apply these 3 things and it doesn’t help, then what?
Same here, I’m over the top tired, I barely do my home chores then I’m out of breath and sleep doesn’t help much. I wake up in the morning as tired as I went to bed. I toss and turn in the night and every inch of my body feels like I’ve been beaten with a baseball bat. Oh I avoid daytime naps because I can not wake up after one hour or two which messes my sleeping cycle. It’s a real struggle.
I don’t know if this will help you, but it might. Juice with a juicer or blend five apples, four oranges, three carrots, two handfuls of kale or spinach, one lemon and one to two inches of fresh ginger. Drink only this and water all day long. At first it will go right through you, but keep drinking it throughout the day. Try to do a little exercise, like waving your arms in circles ( this helps me a lot, because I can feel the effects of the exercise and juice right away), or walking. Make more juice if you run out. Drink as much as you want. Try for one day, then try for two. This has helped me, in the past.
I really hope you come back to check for replies. I had the debilitating fatigue problem for YEARS. Finally figured out I was suffering from mercury poisoning from an amalgam filling I'd had since 1998. Had it removed in 2021. Healing has taken longer than I care for, but I no longer have to race home to crash. D3/K2,. magnesium(lotion and supplement), and methylene blue help me tremendously.
Im in the fitness industry and i work with someone who has Lupus. Avoid those HIIT workouts. Its too taxing on the body. Start with very low intensity like walking. You should start with getting good rest. Once you wake up ⏰️ and you have enough energy, go for a 10 minute walk just to elevate the heart rate a little. 5 minutes out from home and 5 minutes back home again. Then do some stretches (full body). Always try to do your walks when you feel you have some "extra" energy. Don't be afraid to take naps after exercise.

I'm from South Africa. Drink alot of water, water is very important, cut out sodas especially the cheap sodas that have apaspartame and Alsefesane-K in, Avoid sugar, Avoid too much direct sun. Garlic and Lemon does not go well with me. I struggle alot with extreme fatigue get dizzy and short of breath alot and heart palpitations with flare ups. Exercise and borax in the tub and a very minuscule amount in coffee and drinking water. Also a healthy dose of lemon water for gut and stomach issues. Staying away from gluten and cow's milk is paramount. Eating lots of green vegetables and avocados seems to be very helpful. I don't useeds but belive I have lupus with out a doubt. I treat most with diet snd am allergic to pork. I'll look at the email. I get joint pain that makes me tierd joint slipping and infections no colds or flu. Just need help I end up drug resistance after a bit of taking them and gets more resistant theore I take them. I used to sleep well now I sleep too much

I can’t have a lot of things, because they about cause severe reactions.
No milk, pork, gluten (no flour, wheat, barley, no grains except oats and rice), no sugar, no soy products, and the only oil I can consume is olive oil.
I focus on fresh fruits, vegetables, and unprocessed/ unbreaded fish, chicken, beef, or turkey.
I try to consume more anti-inflammatory foods, drink a gallon of water a day, take vitamins, minerals, and drink protein shakes.
It’s a job just to do my morning routine. It takes about 2 hours (because I hurt all over and moving slow), and by the time I’m done, I’m wore out and have to lay down for a nap. Hard to keep a job too!!

I knew what im allergic to from tests i did as a child. Im allergic to eggs. Im 67 now. I stopped eating eggs and the butterfly rash went away
