This was a very nice video. ⭐️ I would have enjoyed seeing more detail, like how you set up your saw and cut the diagonal ends for the cross brace for the gate. Some more close-ups would be enjoyable too. I realize you are your own cameraman, so maybe those details are not possible just yet. I imagine as you get more practice with the camera, you’ll become more creative and will be able to capture more. Nice show, anyway. I enjoyed it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Welcome to TH-cam! I've followed Kate in some years, so I thought, I'd follow her neightbour too 🙂. Normally I sit and crochet, while listening/watching TH-cam, but I must say, that the sound of heavy machines, screwdrivers and so on is not normally a part of the sound picture 😀. I'm sure I'll be an expert on hexagon screws within long 🙂
Very good! I was jealous of the soil under he shrubs you were taking out. Where I live we have red clay and have to bring in all soil for the garden - years of work in that.

The outdoor seating project looks great! I found the bit where you slashed the gravel bags and gravel was pouring out everywhere very satisfying, visually and audibly... even though i wondered if you ended up with stones in your shoes after part of that third bag (third on the vid at least) emptied on your feet. 😄 So do you run the fishery at the dam? Were you the kind fellow who let Kate use a boat to have a picnic in the middle of the lake during lockdown? I loved that video especially being able to see the beautiful panoramic views from that perspective. Anyway wishing you well on your TH-cam journey. I'm definitely along for the ride. I like you explaining why you’re using certain screws and whatnot. Growing up my dad did all kinds of building up to houses and barns, and he was self taught. I held things for him etc - I was near but he never taught me and I wish I had these kinds of skills.

Hi Ant! I started watching Kate's videos almost a year ago. I'm slowly catching up with her Last Home House videos. I've been able to watch all of her Last Homely Garden videos. You are quite the prolific craftsman! So talented! I'm so very excited for your channel as well! Though, I gotta be careful I don't spend all day watching videos and not getting my housework and my own crafting done! I look forward to watching more of your videos!!!
