Your farm is beautiful, Ant, even in winter! Here in Pennsylvania our winter this year has been like days of my youth. Thanksgiving brought a snowstorm that left 4-6 feet in areas! It has been very cold and windy, also. It looks like you had a lot of tree damage. You’ll have a lot of cleaning up to do. Time for a bonfire, and a wiener roast! Hope you are staying warm and cozy! Love from Pennsylvania 💕🌷🐻
Thanks Ant. To someone who’s never experienced snow it looks absolutely beautiful! Hot and humid here so the cooling effect of looking at your video is so refreshing. Stay warm! Cheers Meredithe 🇦🇺🥵
Ahhh yes Indeed, we here in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada get a fair amount of snow but not this year yet. We are getting so much rain, unbelievable! A Big thanks again and Take care 🇨🇦🍁💖👍👍🦋🌈
I felt cold just watching this. I grew up in the North East so this is familiar. We used to go to school on our sledges - kids don't feel the cold so much. All the same, it does look beautiful.
Thank you for sharing a *snow video* 😊 only the northern parts of my country get to experience snowfall, though it has caused some damage to the trees around there, its Beautiful!!
Thanks for video, I live in North Staffordshire and we had a good fall of snow as well, a bonus has been going out for a walk later in the day and spotting a barn owl out hunting 2 days running, beautiful ❤😊.
That snow must have been very wet to bring all those branches down. Fresh snow is always attractive to look at but so difficult for those who have to be out driving and working in it. Even worse if it thaws and then temps drop over night so it freezes. Thanks for sharing Ant.
Wonderful video, I really enjoy the snow, I live in the north east of the USA and we’re having snow here. Makes everything look so clean and quiet, thanks for sharing.♥️
The snow is beautiful around your house & garden. We seldom get snow where I live here in Texas. Looks like a lot of branch destruction to the trees. Thanks for taking us along on your winter walk.
We here in United States in our little town Beaufort Missouri USA got snow about 5” maybe a little more in some of the area round us. And we got ice first. So it makes it a little harder to get your cares cleared off with ice. Took me about 45 minutes to get my car cleaned off. But got it done. Keep warm. Thanks for your video. We got -4 degrees last night. So cold. May warm weather come your way soon. 😊
Good morning Ant. We just had our first snow and ice here in North Carolina. Our driveway was covered with birds. You have a beautiful place. Looking forward to what you share with us in 2025. Thank you.
In Canada, we call that natural shedding when the snow knocks the bottom branches off the trees. If nothing else you got lots of free firewood, but wet snow is always very very dangerous so please be careful, Ant. It is lovely to see the beautiful snow scapes of England... looking out over the fields one almost expects to see a sleigh with a couple of horses and all the bells ringing. If you can add some suet to your birdfeeders, that will also help the birds a whole lot
Anthony, the snow looks beautiful but I suppose if you have to deal with it, it could be a problem. We never get snow in Sydney. Looks like you’ll have lots of wood for your fires with all the branches that are down. All the best for no damage elsewhere. 🇦🇺
Thankyou for gifting us a glimpse of your wintery conditions Ant. The broken branches tell the story of what heavy snow can do. Especially love seeing your neck of the woods. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!
Ant you have a lot of work ahead of you. We are going to have our first snow here Jan 10th; for the southeast Tennessee USA we never have any snow. When it does every thing shuts down. We just have salt and sand trucks and a couple plows attached to pickup trucks. This one is supposed to 4-8 inches and then turn to ice. Stay warm
Originally from the North Shields area, I don't remember getting much snow when I was growing up. Now living in Illinois, USA where we got snow again on Sunday night. I think your weather is getting more like ours these days...hotter in the summer and more snow in the winter. Can't beat your scenery though ❤🇬🇧
12” in Cincinnati. It’s been many years since we had that much snow. It is also bitter cold here and predicted for the rest of the week. We are hunkered down enjoying inside projects and praying for the homeless.~ Debbi
so beautiful❣️There is just something so calming and exciting at the same time when you watch a lovely thick snowfall🌨️❄️ Your filming of the big flakes and the gorgeous countryside is excellent! It is sad to see the damage though-just a part of it…Thank you, Ant 🥰
Happy new Year Ant, thanks for the tour. My goodness, that's a lot of treefall, must be very wet snow.😮 A few years ago in February we had a really bad storm with strong winds here in Edmonton Alberta and it brought down our 50 year old blue spruce in the front garden. We were lucky the winds were blowing from west to east so it fell across the driveway and caught the garage a bit so the house didn't get damaged but we had to patch the garage roof in a couple of places. I'm used to snow now but when I was about 11 or 12, I remember a heavy snow in Newcastle and it was a rarer thing then, mid 50s or thereabouts,,and it melted so fast. Definitely times have changed, all the powerful weather you keep having compared to then. Lovely video though, everything looks so fresh under the new snow. Take care👍☺️🇨🇦
Thank you for the video! The snow is beautiful. I live in Mississippi, USA. We got rid of all of our pine trees for that reason, breaking limbs. Heavy rains would make ours break. We replaced them with white and red oak and have had no problem since. 🙂
Thanks for showing us around. You live in such a beautiful part of the world. I know a lot of hard work goes into making it that way! You look like you might need some hot chocolate or hot tea. Burrrr! Take Care. 👍🙋🏻♀️✌️
Delightful! I always hope for one really good snow fall a year where I live in Utah (about 4500 feet elevation); but we like it to stop prior to damage. We like snow at the higher elevations (8-10K feet) to supply our water for the rest of the year. We had lots of rain in December except Christmas Day, when it did snow about 2 inches. Rain in our valley means good snow in the mountains, and we accept that as good. Happy New Year, Ant; best wishes for a wonderful 2025.
You aren’t used to much snow, so seems like a lot. Where I live on the southern shore of Lake Superior we have less than we’d like, again this winter. We depend on many feet of snow to attract tourists for cross country skiing, snowmobiling, downhill skiing, dog sleds, etc. You can direct any snow you don’t want over to us 🤣. Thanks for the beautiful video.
I enjoyed your video with a tour around your area showing how much snow you have received. We usually get about that much snow here I live but so far this winter we have not had very much. It only lasted about a day but we still have a way to go before spring comes. We can still get a lot of snow before spring. Thank you for sharing your video with us. I always enjoy your videos.
I am jealous with all of your snow. By now we, in Wyoming USA, normally have a bunch of snow. We had maybe an inch and a half. But your landscape IS BEAUTIFUL. Don’t miss the driving in it though.😅
Thank you for taking us on your walk around the lake, Ant. Here in Southern Ontario, Canada we have had quite a bit of snow as well. My husband and I had to shovel multiple times a day for about 4 days in a row, to keep on top of it. It just wouldn't stop snowing!🤗
Thank you for the winter walkabout in your countryside that is absolutely beautiful. I'm sorry and so surprised at how many good size branches came down from the weight - but then again, that does happen here too. Hopefully you can get some rest before everything starts up in March.
Hello Ant, Happy New Year. It's amazing how much it snowed. Thank you for walking around and sharing it with us. Stay warm. Have a great week. Take care.
I’m up near Aberdeen and it hasn’t stopped snowing since New Year’s Day. Getting a bit sick of it now after a week, especially now it’s also freezing solid during the night. Does make for peaceful walks through the forest though 😊 Thank you for your videos.
Hi Ant True British winter weather. I think the snow must be getting heavier. Another sign of climate change. Really enjoyed your vlog. You are a busy man. It's wonderful that you have occupied your life to the full👏🌟🎄❄️😊
Hi Ant it does look nice with the snow we tend to forget the damage it can do thats a lot of damage to the trees hopefully you can take advantage of the broken branches ,we live outside Perth no snow but like most places bitterly cold thanks for your video take care keep cosy.
A good old fall of snow there, Ant. Here in South Cumbria we had a fair fall on Sunday too but rain washed most of it away. Staying cold so now ice is the problem. Take care and watch out for falling branches... I had one fall just behind me once, just missed me! Ever get the feeling you've got an angel on your shoulder?! 😊
Hi Ant, thanks for the film. I miss the cold and snow so much! Have lived in W Australia for 25 years now and I still miss it! I like the crunching sound of the snow when it’s walked over too. Lots of work for you clearing damaged trees though but. Take care 🦘🦘☀️☀️

Love your video, sorry for the trees 🌲, I’m looking forward to seeing snow, we had a green Christmas ( that’s not normal for us here in Newfoundland 🇨🇦) But I do know we’ll have it again later. The birds are enjoying the food. Tks for sharing ❄️
Even in the snow its very beautiful there. Thank you for taking us with you on your snowy walk. We have lots of snow here in Colorado but nothing beats the British countryside x
So pretty! Adds charm to your already beguiling countryside ! So peaceful to watch , thank you . I enjoyed this. Shame about the lovely trees. The birds seem happy to have full stomachs and such care! ❄️❄️ We have had snow also here , in NJ USA , accompanied by freezing temps -and high heating bills!!!!
Thank you for your video. It's lovely to look at the snow but terrible to see the damage it caused to the trees. We haven't had that much snow , take care . Sian from Wrexham 😊
Did you call the little buildings "pods"? I didn't quite catch the name. Very interesting and practical for visitors. The sky colors are beautiful there even in winter.
How about that. Here in the Midwest U.S. there was a big snowstorm that passed through. I guess about the same time as your snow. The area of Kentucky where I live got 10 inches of snow. You are so brave to walk among those trees losing branches!
Well that certainly was a wet snow Ant. I miss it. I live in Minnesota where I enjoy a good snowfall and the beauty of it. This winter we are brown and have had only one good snow, long gone, In my area. Thanks for the video Ant, I really enjoyed it and those cabins looke lovely too. Beautiful countryside you live in. Cheers from Minnesota
Thank you for this beautiful video of the winter landscape around your home. I hope that you are able to sit by a fire with a warm drink after you filmed this wonderful video for us!
Thanks for the tour! I find the aviary amazing and the birds out and about! I never would imagine them out in the cold but I see wild birds out so I guess they don’t mind it. Keep warm and thanks! What ducks arrive on the lake?do you have heat lamps in the aviary?
Hi Louise we get many birds on the lake from Mallards and grebe to geese and occasionally swans … The aviary doesn’t have any heating although it is insulated and the birds seems absolutely fine with the cold as long as they have plenty food
Hi Ant, brr that made me feel cold but thanks for showing us. I hope it clears quickly for you, sad to see so many trees got damaged purely from the weight of the snow, Take care walking around in case more fall, love janx. happy new year in case Ive not said it before

Beautiful coming down but not when you have to clear it, Beautiful bìrd feeders for the birds food ❤
It looks so pretty but I see a lot of work ahead for you! Hope not too much damage 🤞
So beautiful when you don’t have to go and work in it. Thanks for showing us. That’s quite a bit of snow. Those poor trees.
Ahhh yes Indeed, we here in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada get a fair amount of snow but not this year yet. We are getting so much rain, unbelievable! A Big thanks again and Take care 🇨🇦🍁💖👍👍🦋🌈

I hope by now your homestead is getting back to normal - snow is beautiful but damaging

The snow is beautiful. ❄️ nice video.
Thanks so much for sharing, Ant, I’m amazed at the amount of damage. More work for you, but you’re right, it is so pretty. Do the dogs like it, or do they prefer to stay by the fire on a day like this? All the best, as always!❤
The dogs love the snow
@ I suspected they would!☃️
Wow! You guys have more snow than Anchorage Alaska does right now. Cold but beautiful.
I’m in Scotland and we’ve had no snow at all!
I honestly couldn't deal with that much snow! Of course, here in NW Louisiana, USA, even a half-inch of snow brings everything to a halt! The weather forecasters are telling us we might have ice/snow/rain on Thursday and Friday. I hope not! Take care, Ant. That just looks brutal!
Beautiful country you live in. Sounds of outdoors in the winter is awesome. Love hearing the birds too.
Take care and thank you for sharing your life.
Very pretty…thank you for sharing.
I miss the snows of my childhood, we don’t seem to get any in recent years 😢.
Branches down = firewood and kindling for next year. It all goes around. Happy New Year Ant & Co.
