    Congratulations!!! I can't wait to see the test drive!
    I made my ebike, it took me like 10 months, I had a lot of difficulties but now works perfect!

    Great job. Looks awesome. I'm sure it's gonna be a blast! Love the larger tires. Gives it a great stance. This bike seems perfect for someone 6ft and over. Travel safely 👍🏾

      Cheers mate! Sorry to disappoint but I'm planning to downgrade to 19" rims so I can fit better tyres and give more clearance for the sabvoton 😬😉The big ones will still be there for the mean time!

    Cool videos you make bro.
    Doe you like the frame? How heavy is it?

    • @EverythingEbikeChannel
      @EverythingEbikeChannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is pretty heavy for an ebike frame ~17kg so I'd go for the EEB frame with plastic panels and metal skeleton to save weight and get better quality. I've had no issues so far but have heard some people had the odd weld pop 😬

    First class Mate,a expertly thought out and pre reasearchred build,that any new commer should be able to follow,and congrats to you for giving people products names and links,when other builder vlogs want to charge money just to tell you what parts they bought. This would be close to the highest power setup one can make at home without to much custom fabrication, these new cells too are awesome for us diy guys to,with dual 20 to 40 amp charger these things fully charge in under an hour its insane ,and 1000 aus dollars for 50 cells is enough for 2 decent ebikes .will recomend your build logs to new builders before anything .cheers

      You need to buy the housing and the metal contacts separately. They do different sizes depending on current capacity

    Hey man! Everything is looking great but let me give you some advice... you should really turn that sabvoton upside down, so the cables coming out of it are facing downwards. I understand that it’s in the most confortable position for routing the wires, but that’s basically a time bomb. You see, when riding your bike any water you come across it will be guided by the cables straight inside the controller. It could be a bit or rain or a sprinkler or just a little splash, but overtime all of that water will be accumulated inside the controller and fry it. It happened to me with a freaking Thermo Nucular controller (year long preorder, roughly $1000 usd...)
    Oh, and by the way... i don’t know if you’re aware of it but... you should really look into the Nucular controllers :) a 12fet one can easily do 10kw for one tenth of the size of a sabvoton (i have had both...) cheers man :)

    • @EverythingEbikeChannel
      @EverythingEbikeChannel  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just had a look at the Nucluar controllers and they look great, but already got a sabvoton and I'm loving it. Could be a good upgrade though! With the direction, I'll be putting a plastic moulded covering over the top and installing a mudguard at some point so water won't be an issue (not that riding in the rain is much fun anyway but it should be splashproof!) Thanks for pointing it out though and that's a shame about your controller!

    Great job mate got a quick question u know the battry u using how much current each cell can discharge and what is countinuse current for the battry pack
    Say if I use 20s packto build 72v how much the pack can discharge countinuse and how much is burst

    • @EverythingEbikeChannel
      @EverythingEbikeChannel  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Each cell can do 100A continuous or 200A for up to 10 seconds (insane!). Putting more in parallel can obviously increase this.

    Had a laugh when you were ready for that first power up,yep been there with every custom bike i build for people, really cant go wrong with that bms though,it wont let you stuff up,it just wont power up ,or let current flow if incorrect,but human nature still makes ya cross your fingers haha

    Whats the final?52V 40ah? Thanks

    • @EverythingEbikeChannel
      @EverythingEbikeChannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cheers! Managed to get 28 in there for a 52V 40ah pack. Might have been able to get more in if I cut the bottom off the frame to get them in and out but bit risky. Part 6-9 is all about the battery build

      @alexferenci 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@alexferenci I'm actually working on a project for someone who's trying to fit 40 cells in and he had the idea of cutting the frame and then making a panel that can bolt back on. He's going to have to hold some underneath the frame which could be interesting... but 40 cells will be mad if it works!
