In today's rules, KB8/24 would average 40 easily. Kobe would be top 3 player of all time if he trusted his teammates more and if his shot selection was even good. Having 45% career fg on his crazy shot selection and the amount of ridiculously hard shots he took is like 55% fg of some other players. Kobe was his own worst enemy at times.
