Even though it's too long for me to spend so much time on grinding in such kind of game but I like you story and journey at this game.

More than 90% of that time, NGU Idle was just open in the background while I was doing my work. But you are right; it's still a significant amount of time invested in playing. It was, however, an enjoyable experience! )

I love ngu idle. Currently nearing the end with about 7500 hours in. Will check out your game. Is it on Steam?

It's not out yet. I plan to release a beta version in a few days - it will be a mobile game. I may also create a Steam version, but that will come later.

16,100 hours for me. I've already finished the game once, maxxed everything except for diggers.
I've started a new file and am now in late normal difficulty. It's actually my third playthrough, my second got accidentally overwritten when I was in mid-evil

I couldn't get more than a few weeks into NGU. The adventure part of the game and especially the inventory system is what killed my enjoyment. Combat sucks(little agency + active play and strategizing) and inventory management is very tedious and the items don't auto-combine and those consumable stat items bloat your inventory, I did like the bonuses for maxing out an item. Along came a game that was likely very inspired by NGU because it does most of the things NGU did better. It's a much better UI, clearer information and more numerous and fleshed out systems. They also fixed the combat issue by removing the inventory and giving each item their own item slot that auto-combines as you get more copies and made it so each piece of equipment gives 10% of it's stats when it's not equipped encouraging you to find and upgrade equipment for permanent rewards rather than 1 time set bonuses. This also rewards manually fighting monsters above the level you can auto-fight using skills so you can "snipe" new equipment for the stat rewards. The game is WAMI or Wizard And Minion Idle. It's my pick for the best of these slow, long term system heavy incrementals without much combat focus.
The other peak incremental games for me are Unnamed Space Idle, Increlution and Magic Research 2

You can also snipe bosses in NGU. It sounds like you haven't played very much because those are really early game problems. I won't force you to play a game you don't like though.

Yeah, humor is definitely one of its strong sides!

Check out problem sleuth, homestuck might be 50/50 and it's insanely long but problem sleuth is incredibly close in humor and is hilarious.
Even funnier when you realize the characters actions were determined via viewer polls between panels.

The best idle game is Melvor Idle by far. Nothing comes close but number two would be NGU Idle, then Cookie Clicker at #3
