I didn't' stop to do the math but for those who want to play idleon, IT DOES NOT take 1 months worth of time (or time candies) to reach the first boss.. not at all.. lol RCE never invested into accuracy and ran out of food multiple times drastically reducing his kills per hour. With the amount of stuff he was given he could have made it easily into world 3 or 4.
I think it actually did take me a month to get to the first boss. I could've done it sooner I just didn't feel like it.

The amount of pain I'm in watching you just leave all your loot on the ground after time skips, is almost unbearable.
The shear amount of progress you can make with all those time candies, cards, and gems, in the hands of someone who's played before, is staggering.

Fair warning to those who'll try playing this game. This game is showing you how Free 2 Play friendly it is by the 1st 2 worlds but you'll see the true color of this game once you reach w3-w4. You'll be locked in content for years unless you don't buy the essential items from gem shop. Before you start splurging your life savings on this game, try reaching the latest world and let that decide for you. Also, if you try to give the developer good ideas in his discord or calls his game P2W, he'll treat you as toxic and will be banned outright

I totally disagree, I find it very unfortunate that you do this. You are only criticizing negatively and your warning is merely subjective. The game is not p2w (competition between players is non-existent). You can advance easily and it is not necessary to play for years as you say to reach the final worlds. And I tell you from my own experience, I have played this game for 6 months and have not spent a single dollar and I am currently on world 4.
For those who want to play it, do it, it's a good option within mobile games (it has no ads) . Don't let these messages give you a bad image, have your own criteria.

Nice video but on Steam there are people explaining how the dev never fixes bugs and generally just tries to juice people for all they are worth. Sad so i am staying away.
He does fix bugs, but it takes him alot of time, cuz hes very against hiring anybody. But yeah hes quite the bad dev in discord banning people all around with ip bans and all for critique, calling it "toxicity" or "in bad faith". And game became giga p2w in the last 2 big updates, it even seems like he chooses updates based on how well he can make monetizations for those :/ very sad to see him change like this, he wasnt like that before

That's not true he is fixing bugs and you don't need to put money into the game since it's easy to get gems you can unlock every in about 7 months and the bug thing is not something you see it's just some few things that do a smiller number then it say it dose

Like constant crashing, The phone version being literally unplayable at a certain point because drops despawn, A huge number of skills that literally don't work because they weren't implemented (but absolutely take your talent points). Compiling a meaningful place to store the *hundreds* of bugs and content that was unimplemented is grounds for a ban, Leaving a negative Review on the game on youtube will get your video copy-write striked, and if that weren't bad enough, it doesn't change. The dev implemented a pay-wall for auto-loot so that you can *actually* idle the game w/o closing it because the game frequently crashes if there are too many items.
That's a "bug fix" that was literally locked behind a paywall; and the whole point of adding it was to make the game stable, which it DOESN'T. You can check the discord at any time and at least once a day people complain about "whitescreening" because the game is too unstable to run for more than 24 hours. Think about that sentence, THE IDLE GAME, IS TOO UNSTABLE TO RUN FOR MORE THAN 24 HOURS.
The only reason there aren't hundreds of negative reviews here on youtube is because fireflame2 has provided false copywrite takedowns to them in the hopes to get more people on the game, to get more people to drop money on it.

I really love your content and I've seen most of your vids, and Probably like many people I was super excited and installed IdleOn moments after finishing it; But during the download, I came across a lot of evidence of the creator having super Sketchy business practices, submitting false copy-write strikes, Attacking members of the community, Cheating in a competitive way, and its history of turning the game from "No need to pay" to "Absolutely need to pay to play the game properly"
This is correct.
He has a lot of fanboys defending him in the comments by straight up lying and saying its not bad P2W and that the dev is cool.
But a quick look around paints a different picture.

Idk what this is about, i started playing 2 months ago, and nothing like that happened since i started playing, and honestly ive seen also a lot of evidence of such things, but if he doesnt repeat it i dont care. I'm not sure if the developer of this game know how to treat his customer base properly. I supported the game by buying gems and packs worth 2.5k USD in total in this game and when I said some constructive feedback in his discord server I got banned in his discord server for being toxic, hence, got disconnected on any game updates. This is probably the only game I have played where that if you said some constructive feedback about the game, you'll be considered toxic and get banned. Connecting in the official discord server of the game is the only way to find real interaction about the game since the chat in-game is non-existent so banning you from discord means you also won't be able to connect with other players who play the game. The game was balanced but every time he releases a new world he lowers every requirement just to make the new world easier since the gem shop purchases of the new world is more powerful than the previous ones, contents that are full of bugs that he says he'll fix but as of the time of this writing there have been no concrete plans of getting it fixed. He also tries to control the conversation in all of his social media sites by silencing all those who say anything bad in his game by banning them on the respective social media sites since the developer is also the administrator of his own social media sites. Whenever you try to raise something about his patches, he just shrugs it off and doesn't even care. He doesn't even care about the community and would rather comment on the community that the new content (Nightmare Bosses Patch) is for cape hunting than gems since raising gems dropped from bosses will hurt his income from gems bought.
The game have passed it's glory days and all those who say I got to w4 in 2 months is a joke. If you only saw how friendly this game was before he became too greedy, then you probably have the same sentiment as I have. Nerfing F2P gems and adding a new gem shop item ever patch is a signal from the developer that I need your money. He'll only hotfix bugs if it relates to gems that you can get through in-game events.
He'll try to balance the game negatively when items locked on P2Ws are going to F2P (e.g. choco chip) when he can initially do that at the start so if you think that's normal, your mindset is twisted. The game also lives in a philosophy of exploit now or get fucked up later which is consistent since the earlier worlds but became more prevalent in the new world (Spices and Arena).
Also, to the commenters saying there's nothing P2W in this game since you don't have any PVP interaction, that's stupid. If you want to be delayed by 3 years since the game is supposed to be like that, yeah good luck getting outdated items by the time new more powerful purchases is out.
While I can't speak for your experience with the discord, I do agree with all the points you've made about the game. It hurts to see this game becoming more and more "p2w" and feel like every other mobile game. I still play it daily and have for over a year now. So I still like the game but I really dislike the direction some of it aspects have been heading in the past few months. Worlds 1+2 were amazing, 3 was alright, but 4 is such a let down for so many reasons

The game is good and i dont see it as p2w (tho i feel its headed that way) but i do think if i started playing before i wouldve seen it diferently. The main reason i play it is because its free fun, i didnt even search up any reviews, so i really dont know. I love the game, but hate the discord now, and i think because im in guild discords im gonna stay. Through reading these ive learned to respect your oppinions at least, just now, even tho i thought the same thing yesterday, then i come back to the discord. I really need to bash this into my head, at least consider it, so that i dont revert to mindless hating on you, but mostly it might be because the 1 source of negative info about lava was a really toxic guy, like reaaaly toxic, and didnt give any context for it

I've been enjoying the game, it's quite addictive. People like to put it down for a couple things.
1) The dev: This is a game created by one person and ran by one person. He doesn't have a PR department. Since he's a human being and has faults just like everyone else, he's under a microscope. If he has a bad day, like we all do, that's what people like to focus on. From my personal experience, I see a creative person who has a quirky sense of humor and likes to have fun with the game. I've said things I regret later, in my life. So a misspoken word or doing something dumb here and there I can forgive. PR isn't his strong point. Creating a fun game is. Of course all people like to read are negative things about him. Yet it still has a very positive rating on Steam.
2) Pay to win.. in a non-competitive game? Well, OK, if you say so. I've never spent a cent on it, although I feel kinda bad about that. I will eventually, only to support the game, and not to "win".
Honestly one of the only TH-cam channels i watch. I love your videos and the random games you play on it! Been watching for quite a while now and you're the only one that keeps me addicted to your videos! Peace love and bridges!

Checked this game out before, the game is definitely pay to win, heard its only gotten worse recently. Much less cash grabby then other games i.e. pure gachas though.

Have been playing this game a bit lately.
Its very money hungry and slow, and the dev is infamous for being an arse and banning his own players for little to no reason. If you don't believe me, just look at the review section on steam.
I'm about halfway through the game and I'm already at the point where I have to spend days grinding just to get 1 piece of basic gear (for 1 character) or get 1 level of mining etc.
The game will try to lure you into buying upgrades to make it faster, but the truth is that even if you spent a thousand bucks, it would still be almost just as slow.
Don't recommend.

While yes you are correct on most things, i do have to mention that this is a idle game, I've been playing for more then a year and a half but I'm barely now close to being endgame, this game isn't about super fast progress its about grinding. Just my 2 cents

You missed some points..
like you should have had the anvil Producing so you could level up your crafting skill
And how each type of creature can only damage you if you have under a specific number of defense. Once you have more, they can't harm you... and you can bash them without worry.
And you need to Look when you're spending talents, at the thing that comes up on the left, explaining that each class has 2 main traits... like for a fighter .. Strength and Wisdom. Without strength, you hit like a mouse-fart, and if without wisdom, you just don't hit.

Honestly.. This games look a whole lot like old school MapleStory xD 1 second of looking at Scripticus I had a feeling.. Then he went for the spores and I saw it.

Lava played maplestory and very much based the art style off of it. The game even references it quite a lot! Played this game for over a year its so much fun
Want the smelter to work at a half decent speed? Pay.
Want the forge to be reasonably quick so you can learn to smith gear? Pay.
Want to skip ahead a little instead of waiting 2 days to get enough mining ore to craft that basic helmet? Pay.
Want to have autoloot so you can actually afk in an idle game? Only if you Pay.
Want bank space? Inventory space? Space for any of the crucial minigames? Pay.
There are several pages of premium upgrades in the gem store.
Some of them are just fluff but some of them are very important.
Granted you can buy a lot but not all of these upgrades with gems in-game, but earning them is extremely slow (for a reason obviously), and you would never earn all of it unless you played for a year straight or something.
The game is literally meant to be played for well over a year to finish the game. You aren't meant to just outright buy everything and it's very stupid if you do lol.

@@StebenL hey ive been playing since more or less start, im more or less endgame im in the top blah blah blah % ive spent like 100-150$? idk ive been gifted money by guildies and yea you can get a fair bit of the way to all content atm...but there is this thing and please wrap you're head around it...quality of life....it really sucks when you have to pay for QOL changes. Yea i bought autoloot within the hour it came out....and started bug testing cause i knew it was gonna have some issue...and tbf it does/doesnt.

Not sure who edited this. If it's schmichael, then it's good that he finally figured out whose show this is and decided to get out of the way. This is a ray of promise for the future of RCE for me. I enjoyed it as much as the pre-schmichael RCE content.

This is literally a reskin of maplestory. Even the music is similar!
It's heavily inspired by the dev's years of playing maplestory. He doesn't hide this, there's references to it in the game. I wouldn't call it a reskin though as the gameplay is completely different.

I mean, Lava is kinda lame, so yeah, but this is as cursed as when Spiff did a video on this game. However did you know that this game has the most important thing, it has a bridge, in World 2, I mean it has a lot of randomly floating platforms, so you might think a bridge is unnecessary, but it does indeed have a bridge. A Rope bridge, but at least it's a bridge, although from the looks of it, a very hazardous looking rope bridge.

in order to get more accuracy, you need more Wisdom (for a Warrior at least) (Realizing that RCE is most likely trolling, but mostly just for anyone that might play this)

@@mme725 Aye no worries!, As a note on top of that, all the different classes have their own stats that do things for them (Warriors use Wisdom for Accuracy, and Str for damage, Mages use Agi For accuracy and Wisdom for Damage, and Archers use Str for accuracy and Agi for Damage), you can also see this in game when clicking on one of the 3 talents that boost this, and otherwise there is a good few guides and the like out there, but i think a lot of it will be quite clear if you do some reading in game as well
