Tati, if it brings you any peace, I lost my engagement ring 3 years ago and was so embarrassed, sad, and hopeless since it had been so long. Literally a few days ago, my dad FaceTimed me because he had found it while remodeling their bathroom. Apparently it had gone down the sink drain but never got completely through because of the size. All this to say, DON’T LOSE HOPE! You never know if it could be found. Love you!!

I totally get you. I have a loud laugh. My ex husband used to be embarrassed by it and would shoot me looks. (Like I have any control over a genuine laugh.) Was super uncomfortable for over 22 years. I am now married to a man who loves my laugh because he knows it's genuine. He doesn't blink an eye when I laugh in public. 😍
When you spoke about James having no anger... that is my number one goal in life. Honestly. I work in healthcare and see so much bitterness! People mad to be mad. Mad at the weather, parking, the chairs, the elevator, and then the staff. That creates bitterness in the staff and it becomes a nasty cycle. I'm making a daily, conscious effort to not let bitterness and anger control me. Over anything!

He was more into the video than Tati was.😂 and he had some really sweet, genuine things to share about her, and his feelings of her that are very thought out, not just lip service to answer the question. I think the funniest part was Tati saying he overuses product because she does realize we see her use her products every day and this woman does NOT need as much as she uses of any given product. I hope she finds it too, but she is pretty sure she put it in a bag of jewelry she donated. She was supposed to donate one bag of jewelry she didn't want and she donated the wrong one. Someone else probably has it and doesn't know who she is so doesn't know to return it. :( Hopefully she can get the word out there enough and maybe someone will realize they bought her ring and return it to her one day. My mother in law gave me a necklace that had the stone my father in law put her ring when they got married. The stone was reset when they divorced and put it in a necklace fort husbands grandma. I wore it around my neck until the clasp broke. I put it in my dresser and someone stole it. My husband and mother in law were so incredibly loving and gracious with me. To this day I cry when I think about it.
I lost my ring in 2009. I move 1000 miles to the other side of the country. Then over the next 12 years I moved 5 fives. Last year I found my ring mixed with a bunch of random stuff in a tote. No idea how it got there nor how it survived that long.

I think they’d have more success if they did separate podcasts because the couples ones always get to be quite tedious, but separate I could only imagine all the good discussions they’d have, guests they’d have on and different areas of life they’d touch on.

My mother found her lost wedding band over 40 years later!! My sister as a baby played with it and lost it. They moved houses years later and when they decided to throw away a lazy boy chair they were told to break it down before putting it out for the trash. My father heard a little clink and there the ring fell out in perfect condition. So WHO KNOWS! ♥️ wonderful to see you both in a video 😊

A good friend of mine lost her engagement ring. She looked everywhere, called everyone she had been with, she even brought someone with a metal detector to look for it. Nothing. Then after 1-2 years she just found it between folded clothes in her closet. So I still hope you'll find it!!!!!

The fact that he didn’t get angry when she lost the ring that was his mother’s stone. He’s a good man. I wouldn’t be able to function if that were me lol
My mother in law gave me a necklace that had the stone my father in law put her ring when they got married. The stone was reset when they divorced and put it in a necklace fort husbands grandma. I wore it around my neck until the clasp broke. I put it in my dresser and someone stole it. My husband and mother in law were so incredibly loving and gracious with me. To this day I cry when I think about it.
I lost my ring in 2009. I move 1000 miles to the other side of the country. Then over the next 12 years I moved 5 fives. Last year I found my ring mixed with a bunch of random stuff in a tote. No idea how it got there nor how it survived that long.
James really does seem like a genuinely kind human, and the way he seems to love you. What a beautiful couple inside and out, I’m happy that you chose to go back to each other, it’s a great example of getting through adversity. Hope for the best moving forward for you two ♥️
I loved this video! This was hands down, one of the best couples videos I've ever watched. Yes you've wethered some storms, but you've also found your way back together and have peace from Gods grace. Progress comes in all forms, it's not about material things, you've clearly grown spiritually and personally. The bigger the triumph, the bigger the testimony.

The two need separate podcasts because they both are very real, very thought provoking people. We all could use their lessons and reminders, imo. I think they’d have more success if they did separate podcasts because the couples ones always get to be quite tedious, but separate I could only imagine all the good discussions they’d have, guests they’d have on and different areas of life they’d touch on.

My mother found her lost wedding band over 40 years later!! My sister as a baby played with it and lost it. They moved houses years later and when they decided to throw away a lazy boy chair they were told to break it down before putting it out for the trash. My father heard a little clink and there the ring fell out in perfect condition. So WHO KNOWS! ♥️ wonderful to see you both in a video 😊

A good friend of mine lost her engagement ring. She looked everywhere, called everyone she had been with, she even brought someone with a metal detector to look for it. Nothing. Then after 1-2 years she just found it between folded clothes in her closet. So I still hope you'll find it!!!!!

I found my moms lost ring in one of our boxes when we were unpacking in our new home….there is always hope but if it isn’t meant to be that’s ok….those memories and experiences are what matters most! ❤️
I lost my wedding ring, which was also passed down from my husband’s mom. When you describe how you feel when you think about losing that ring, I felt like I wasn’t alone in feeling that same way. This year will be our 20 year anniversary and we’re still going strong. It took a lot of work, and growth, (and some couple’s counseling) but we’re the better for it. They key there is: communication and sharing goals/dreams/ideals together. There are a lot of atheist couples out there who have been in a happy and successful marriage for decades who absolutely do not pray. I'm one of them. To each their own, tho!

This was so refreshing. I’ve been married for 16 years and this last year has been the year I’ve been the most happy and stress free. My husbands anger is also non existent these days. It’s pretty amazing if I’m being completely honest. I feel like something shifted, and we’ve become these kind loving people who value one another. Refreshing to see it within you all as well. Things happened to us that we can’t explain for life lessons, Tati Learned unconditional love from her husband even though she lost a precious item that was a symbol of their marriage!
